      Vietnam belongs to Southeast Asia geographically, but belongs to the
      circle of Confucian cultural.They used Chinese characters(hanzi kanji hanja) in ancient times, too.
      Just like Mongolia belongs to East Asia geographically, but it belongs to Central Asia in culture.
      As long as we are united, Sinosphere will become the most powerful area in the world! Always look forward to the day that we become good friends.

    I love all four of my countries I am from (yes, elder's genes). I just want to say to the people that are saying Vietnam is week and poor, over these years and years and years of war and battles against bigger countries, we are still standing. THAT IS WHAT MAKES A STRONG AND WEALTHY COUNTRY, NOT IN MONEY INSTANCES. Over the 90's we were considered a poor place, but look, we've learned, we've grew and is still growing. Because Japan is an island country and isolated from the outside world, she retains many characteristics of classical China, and China itself has been developing and evolving, so it is quite different from the classical period, such as sitting and sleeping on the floor, China has been since the Song Dynasty. The chairs and beds were popularized, and the transition from aristocratic culture to folk culture prevailed.

      @shyningful 7 ปีที่แล้ว +71

      大强 Well, that's right! The Vietnamese originated from South China/North Vietnam and lived together with the nowaday's Cantonese peoples in the region of today's South Chinese provinces like Yunnan, Guangxi, etc. But since China wanted to took over them the Vietnamese moved towards the South and over the time to gain more land for themselves they moved more and more South and eventually, took over some part of the land Cambodia.

    • @大强-t2i
      @大强-t2i 7 ปีที่แล้ว +34

      That means, Vietnamese are close to some nowadays' Chinese genetically?

    • @shyningful
      @shyningful 7 ปีที่แล้ว +44

      I wouldn't dare to say that, but maybe yes. But Koreans, Japanese and Chinese people are also not genetically related. The same goes to the Vietnamese people. These four ethnicities are an own group of peoples unrelated to one another. But all of them may share some commonalitites: like having black flat silk-like hair and lighter skin in comparison to the "real" native South and Southeast Asians. You can search more after the Vietnamese ethnicity called "Kinh" in the internet if you like.

    • @dongf2618
      @dongf2618 7 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      I won't say unrelated genetically. Genetic distance between China, Vietnam, Korea, and Japan is a lot smaller than genetic distance between Asians to Europeans. We all originated from Africa and migrated to Asia.

    • @yuesu2325
      @yuesu2325 7 ปีที่แล้ว +41

      Go back 2000 years ,northern Vietnamese and southern Chinese shared the same ancestor ( this doesn't mean they came from China just that a group of Chinese migrated to Northern Vietnam and get mixed with the native Vietnamese that already lived there) , from time to time they conquered more land in the south from Champa kingdom and a bit of Cambodia land as well. But sure if you go back further like 100000 years back we human probadlly shared the same ancestor no matter white,black or asian.

    Soon after North Vietnam expanded its territory to the south, dominating Champa land and part of the Khmer (Cambodia). As a result, Vietnam's territory is now more than half located in Southeast Asia. A long time ago, Vietnam was on top, part of East Asia! And now Vietnamese people are East Asians living in Southeast Asia. But Vietnamese want to be a part of Southeast Asia in the future because they want to be an Asean leader. Right ?? :)))

    Southeast Asia or Southeast Asia is not the same, Vietnam is located in Southeast Asia, but completely 100% of the Chinese culture, along with Taiwan, Korea and Japan. We have temples, culture, kings feudal lords like China, 1000 years associated with China ... then how else? ... All are the western colonialists for more than 100 years Dominance has changed much in this century.

      @k-studio8112 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly it's the same on our case in Philippines. All of Southeast Asians can understand each other except us. Most of you have the same dominant religion except us. Most of you have similar culture and tradition except us. We can only find similarities on our religion, culture, language and tradition in Hispanic countries and Latin America but we are really Southeast Asians.

    when i found the video, the opening image is 4 old pictures of the 4 countries' traditional costumes, however there is a mistake here, seems like the picture of the old painting behind the picture of the Hanbok seems to be a traditional Chinese costume?? That's just my opinion, I'm not sure if I'm right either. If true, I hope that if you make a similar video in the future, please be more careful.

    There seems to be a confusion. Modern creations for TV drama, traditional costumes for ruler class, etc... all are confused together. Hope some kind of grouping, like modern, rulers, folks, performers, etc.
