1. connect the unit with No. 3 9:20 seconds (the usb is what I hold in my hand),
2. then connect with No. 3 and No.11 9:38 seconds (original car usb)
3. finally connect with No. 11 and the original USB cable, so your factory usb port will work.

listen here everyone I've had the same problem all you have to do is just swap the yellow and red cable set from the stereo to the car believe me the problem is solved

I have been using it last 1 year and nothing happened to the battery. The radio is getting the electricity from the fuse box. It means if you start the car, the radio is on, if not off. Nothing related to battery.
sleep mode make the touchscreen wont work

What’s great but bad news is sleep mode ON will drain your battery for sure.
There is nothing to do with the battery. The radio has a battery by itself. Think about it this way. Whenever you turn on the car, you don’t have to wait for it to reboot.

@@souls_gt7120 normally the fuse box under the hood doesn’t allow electricity to go to the radio. What you are saying is a little bit confusing. How could that use electricity coming to the radio? Just wondering
If your unit does not go to standby when you remove the key and your sleepmode is on. Try this fix:
Check the adapter plug. Some adapters come with swapped cables. Nornally Yellow is constant +12v and red is ignition which with key is +12v and without is around 0.5v (this is to keep the head unit memory)
Check if the wire color is the same as the one from the car. You can use a multimeter to test the pins. (Note. The red wire will drop from 12v to 0.5v after 1-2 minutes after you remove the key)
Please help, I'm at a loss. when i have sleep mode on it works for 5-10 minutes. I turn the key and it turns on immediately. but, when I come in an hour or the next day, the radio loads - logo etc. where could be the problem? I don't deal with the battery. I want the radio to turn on immediately and I didn't wait. thank you very much. CITROËN C4 2005.
My switch is 8x64mb Podofo and it doesn't have that option. Always when I turn on it restarts from Android. Do you have another configuration method? Thanks.
Cara, verifica essa instalação ai . Geralmente a instalação funciona da seguinte forma: Um fio vai pro positivo pós chave e Outro no Positivo geral ( que tá sempre com carga, mesmo com o carro desligado e sem chave) . Ou seja, quando você desligar a chave do carro, a central vai desligar porém vai ta sendo energizada com o positivo geral, com isso quando você ligar a chave, o pós chave vai mandar o sinal e ela vai praticamente só acordar ja que ja estava sendo energizada . OUTRO METODO pra ela sempre ficar ligada e nao demorar pra trocar pra câmera de ré, é enrolar o fio pós chave DA MULTIMIDIA (geralmente vermelho ), junto com o fio positivo da multimídia também ( GERALMENTE AMARELO ). Feito isso , só ligar os dois fios enrolados(POS CHAVE DA MULTIMIDIA E POSITIVO DA MULTIMIDIA ) no POSITIVO do carro. ( sua multimídia vai ficar ligada direto, quando você apertar o Power ela só vai entrar em modo descanso. Essa segunda forma tem um problema, quando voce apertar o power ela vai apagar, mas não vai desligar. Vai somente entrar em modo descaso e com isso tem risco de você esquecer e ela descarregar a bateria do carro. Da pra resolver colocando um botão liga desliga na parte de baixo escondido que vai quando você desligar o botão CORTA TODA A CORRENTE DA MULTIMIDIA

Sleep Mode on = Sleep on the the parking lot. It will drain your battery still.

No. The radio has its own battery like in the laptops or desktops. It uses that
@@TechGeniusHacks I don't think the radio has it's own battery. Look up for factory settings and set a shut down timer in case you will not use your car for over xx hours so your battery will never die.
@@niquedegraaff the thing is when you turn off your car, everything will shut off. Nothing is working because the radio is not directly connected to the car’s battery

Yes it does consume battery from the car even while the car is off so it is important to turn of sleep mode in these headunits.
I changed the sleep mode setting but it still drained the battery flat.
How possible? Normally it needs to get the electricity when you start the car

What is going on exactly? What is the problem with your radio?
@@Techgeniusideas every time I turn the car off, when I turn it back on the Android unit starts from scratch, no sleep mode. So it takes a long time to boot up, specially to boot up the Android Auto app

Your unit is powered by cars battery, not an imaginary other world battery like a laptop😂. And yes, it wil drain your cars batter if you don't use your car for about a week. If you drive the car every day, you will not notice this, this is exactly the idea of this setting. TH-cam is full of people giving wrong info to people 😢.

@@TechGeniusHacks Did you wire your unit yourself ? all radios today are plug-in connectors which connect to the cars ECU thus using the car battery. I have never heard that a radio has a CMOS battery ? Sleep mode uses a minimum ampere drain on battery and if left it will eventually drain the battery. You are the only one on Internet who says it does not
@@garycook8117 no I didn’t wire it. Everything was plug and play except cameras. What I am referring is that whenever you turn off the car and turn it on, android is starting from the beginning and I am waiting it to load. In other words, if sleep is off, the radio is ready immediately when you turn on the car
I had this andriod headunit in my car for more then 1 year and I was always annoyed how long it took to start up when I restarted the car shortly after turning it off.
Only thing was my headunit called it "standby time"
Mine is doing it after 1 week maybe if I never start the car. Other than that everything is ok. It works without waiting
