I was at LB 2 when i first started diving into content creators. personally events should just be allowed considering how they almost never rerun events I think recording should be fine unless they are planning to significantly increase the reruns they do because of something in the future. I'm gonna be honest, I highly doubt any of this is enforceable, especially given a lot of non-Japanese players who play on the JP server and don't reside in Japan.
Unfortunately it is enforced. An important FGO tuber from overseas got 2 strikes from Sony which is the one enforcing the guidelines apparently overseas because Jap players are snitching. That's why Neo who does the translations or Plushie to name a few are privating the vids that go against new directives and they will cover only content that doesn't go against this because again Jap players are being petty and Sony is the one doing the strikes which are legitimate. It is a sad situation
I once heard that they want to end fgo after year 10 (jp). Now it seems like they want to aggravate us out of playing! On the other hand this will raise the game difficult since Im going in blind
@@KikyouInuyasha I dont think they will shut it down outright but apparently they want to stop making content after year 10 (next year). Personally I play fgo for the story so if that is the case I would stop playing. (Idk if this is true. This comes from plushie’s video.)

Ot is not the player's fault that many spoiler full events ONLY require Fuyuki. This is an active choice made Lasengle because Sony wants the money too ny getting new players to enjoy the new events and roll the summer banners. And because they are summer events, it would feel weird I guess if they didn't lower the requirement to participate. But they shot themselves on the foot ao now everyone suffers. They could have just raised the requirements to participate on spoiler full events to about the previous main story singularity or lostbelt id they're intentionally going to add spoiler content in the event... "This might kill FGO" Sir this affect content creator, not the player, even the JP player are going along with this because they dont want to spoil the story
One problem FGO creators are free promotion, and they keep the community alive. Without that, it'll be a slow death. This might have been what happened to the gacha game, Revived Witch, though I don't know.
@@nkyfong the JP can still bring the game to top revenues, heck even the ani 8th they pour a lot to the game despite the update powercreep, there also Index IF and Symphogear DX can live up to 6 years before become offline and one of them doesn't have glb. Bet they even care about foreigners
So they go the Nintendo-route. Sad to see, especially because I liked to listen to the music of new story chapters. Luckily I've already downloaded the music for OC III I wanted, kinda dodged a bullet there.
But the copywright strikes are very heavy indeed, do not try to break it playing with 90 days rule, cause Mhx (the skyrim streamer) once you hit the algoritme of offender. sooner or later they had enough and just find strikes wherever they can and delete your channel. so 1 strike every 90 days is fine (I wouldn't even risk it) , but don't risk getting 2 strikes and think you are safe some idiot might just hit report and cause the algoritme to delete your channel.
so backwards and frustrating. You can't just but the genie back int the bottle. Also I get up really early for work and see a few random JP streams play FGO! one or two are doing ordreal call 3! I got to wonder how it will affect them.. Some other gatcha games would kill for the kind of exposure FGO sometimes get with streaming!
The reason isn't spoilers but probably in large parts due to the gacha. Clairvoyance EX is putting a massive dent in their global revenue, because people already know what servants are upcoming 2 years ahead and youtubers make review videos of them, so the global playerbase can easily decide what servants to save for. Of course this won't change much for the more hardcore players, but they'll try anyway. It'll be interesting to see whether they'll actually enforce those limitations.
If only they could do something like putting the game in an accelerated "catch up" schedule or something... But we all know this small indie company can't handle it. Honestly, it sucks having to wait two whole years to get characters... Sometimes I'm hyped for them, but end up just forgetting and not getting them because I might be taking a break from the game or something. Most recently I missed saber Hokusai for that reason
@@ZeroStrife1396 same and tbh I'm sure lasengle would love to do that too, but there are logistical issues that make it difficult. Translation alone is something that takes an insane amount of time with this game. FGO uses some highly specific language, so you need people who have experience with the fate franchise to avoid translation errors. The other thing is scheduling. A new year's event or anniversary would still be on fixed dates, but if the rest of the events are accelerated it creates issues with servant release order, like having lb7 part 2 without the priest, or a bunch of newer servants that would have to be added to gssr banners that weren't supposed to be available at that time etc... all of that needs to be accounted for and would probably cause lots of issues in terms of programming. Also there's the banners and grind. Pretty sure many people would complain if they'd release a new ssr every week while having to grind several events back to back or even simultaneously.
@@justalex4214 for the grind part they could increase drop rate or make event shop cost less for the language there are existing channels that were nice enough to lay out the ground work already just change some part that was wrong for the banner part giving more stone will be able to compensate for it and for the anni n new year might need to tank a bit at least make it so na is like a year or 6 month behind instead of 2 year. Some other game was like arknight was able to catch up and blue archive was able to shorten the gap to just 6 month. A bit of sacrifice for the long term isn't that bad
@@justalex4214 I hear you on all of that, but think about whenever the game goes EoS global will just miss out on 2 years of story, servants and everything else. Like... I'd be super bummed if they announced today that the game will only go until the end of the year and I'll never get a chance to play with Draco or Hakuno. Even a very slightly accelerated pace so we get to parity *eventually* would probably be better than forever chasing 2 years behind. Like, the current "road to 7" thingie feels kinda like a "dead patch"/week. So they could just get rid of any "events" like that and move to the next event immediately to "make up" a week. Would be a fairly long catch up, but once again, we'd get there *eventually*, rather than never.
@@ZeroStrife1396 oh don't get me wrong, I'd been hoping we'd get an accelerated schedule for years now, it's just when taking all the things I mentioned into account I can understand why they didn't do it so far... and they had plenty of opportunities to chip off several weeks every year. Also yeah, as soon as JP announces EoS, global would be instantly dead, whether they'd release the rest of the content globally or not, because no one would buy gacha currency for a live service they already know has ended.
It's weird how stupid and illogical these rules are. Even using "avoid spoilers" as an argument, there were hundreds of different ways to structure this. But it's also complicated how you chose the worst possible examples to convey the information. I can already see people who don't see a problem with these new rules seeing this video as a big cry, because that's what it seems like in most of the way you talk.
I was just thinking did you get Anniplex NA new rule set? cause in theorie none JP players aren't even allowed to play on JP servers. Cause you can still use NA material Sony/Anniplex didn't sent out a new rule set in english right? so this rule only applies to JP content.
This really sucks. I knew some new strict policies were coming. Now. We shall see the fall slowly. Also yes, if you have been paying attention for the past 2 years, you can see where the company has been going on this.
FGO is a region locked game and doesn't have much players like these new gacha games even though the Fate franchise is widely known. I'm really hoping can evolve like Star Rail, but they're evolving backwards and trying to kill the people who have been supporting their game. Baffling and pathetic, really (or maybe pitiful).
Buddy, Sony is not going full Nintendo with FGO. They're just timegating fresh content behind the new guidelines; all the older videos are fine for now.
This suck. I play while skipping the dialogs, because they take so much damn time to read. And then I listen to a 2-hours youtube video telling me in details what happened in the story arc.
Did that as well with some of the chapters. Some of the stories seems that you're reading conversations between 5 year old kids, I just end up rolling my eyes and skipping. It's a shame because the idea behind the story is usually interesting, but the silly dialogs in game kills it. Nevermind the events. These are so infantile that I think I have never ever bothered with the story of them, apart from the El-Melloi II which seemed more mature.
@@ahind1234 True, while overall story can be good. the dialogues itself are so completely stupid and broken im dying from cringe every time. Its the same dialogue level from first chapters which were complete and utter trash
@@Flaris It's not a matter of laziness. I simply don't have time to invest five or ten minutes between each fight. I play FGO maybe twenty minutes per day, no more.
Please, remember that Lasengle belongs to Aniplex and it belongs to SONY! And Sony music, if I am correct, was the one that was giving strikes. Correct me if I am wrong.
You are indeed correct. Sony ended up striking one of Plushie's friends because of certain in-game music (likely OC3), and basically all popular OC3 content is now off-limits for the time being.
Tbf it's not like the game has much farther to go, anyway. The final battle at Antarctica base will probably be the game's final chapter no matter what.
FGO has the worst gacha in the industry. Having achieved that, their new goal is to have the worst relationship with the fanbase/content creators in the industry.
They are shit, but they have a long ways to go before achieving the "worst relationship with fanbase/content creators in the industry" title. I mean, they have to pass Nintendo, Playstation, Ubisoft, EA, Actiblizzard, and pretty much any company that ever consulted with Sweet Baby Inc. But yeah, it probably won't stop them from trying.
A lot of the things you said regarding later lostbelts are kinda spoilery. I regret telling a new player to look at your channel honestly. Some things you said weren't necessary.
I can understand Tsukihime, but this is ridiculous! How the hell am I going to strategize certain boss encounters if videos covering them don't exist? And I'd rather not study the wiki knowing that a translation likely hasn't landed
I feel for the content creators to a degree and this will have a major impact. But...part of me isn't hating it. People straight up playing entire story segments right as they drop really do put spoilers out there. Not surprised to a degree that they want to put a lid on it.

It's actually fgo JP's players. They keep getting "spoiled" by these videos (en translation, story recap, etc) so they reported them en masse. Lasengle listened
@@ZETA14.88Never thought I’d ever say that, but fuck the JP players.
@@olivierdubreuil-gagnon2201 You think a Japanese gacha devs will listen to western players?
@@reno9571 This. It could be just a thousand or so really vocal JP players and Lasagna will listen to them over every viewer of NA content combined
If they think this will work it won’t like na players have 2 years to wait for stuff and many are going to look just to see the new servants so how does this work then there are people who just talk about the characters not the game like those who discuss the history of the character which can have nothing to do with the game then the anime’s like seems dumb
honestly i think they should have just been everything up to traum is ok and should just say whenever global gets the chapter is when its freed from restriction and i think people would be ok with that because then it just looks like them going hey dont spoil the global players because i dont think they care about units being spoiled just the story and I think it would push some of the content creators who are doing heavy spoilers to think twice about spoiling the story. because as a global player myself i cant wait to read lostbelt 7 and i dont want people spoiling that experience for me and i dont like spoiling the experience for others and because of people spoiling it i know some of the units involved in LB7 which does take away some of the surprise and fun of reading it. I actually didnt even pay attention to content creators till i got into the lostbelts. I was at LB 2 when i first started diving into content creators.
personally events should just be allowed considering how they almost never rerun events I think recording should be fine unless they are planning to significantly increase the reruns they do because of something in the future. This makes me think that they are planning to increase the amount of reruns and makes me think before part 3 we might be seeing some big QoL updates.
Poor NeoFGO had to delete his video because of this we are truly a Mooncancer
not delete just unlisted. If you have the links you can still see them. They have them on their discord pinned.
A garbage can would be more accurate spoilers for Tunguska and Heian Kyo
Yeah, about that...The JP player base is proactively alerting Sony to any videos that break the new guidelines, so they ARE, in fact, enforceable.
@@cameraredeye3115 They can alert them all they want, actually enforcing it and making sure it's not disputable are very much, in fact, another thing.

Japanese companies always do this. Are they allergic to people playing the game
I once heard that they want to end fgo after year 10 (jp). Now it seems like they want to aggravate us out of playing! On the other hand this will raise the game difficult since Im going in blind
What do you mean by end at 10th year?
Did you mean they will shutdown the fgo?
@@KikyouInuyasha I dont think they will shut it down outright but apparently they want to stop making content after year 10 (next year). Personally I play fgo for the story so if that is the case I would stop playing. (Idk if this is true. This comes from plushie’s video.)
"It's time to do quest rundowns of the lostbelt 5 recollection quests."
1 day later: "...With all the names blanked out and no mention of the context of the quest, or being able to give the enemies buff/skill names"
Instead of this.
I am convinced they want to kill Global Servers. This is the best way to do that.
@@orga7777 that’s my theory too especially for the anime sites too
And the game will be fine even if they do. JP is where the bulk of their income comes from anyway.

"This might kill FGO"
Sir this affect content creator, not the player, even the JP player are going along with this because they dont want to spoil the story
@@themegahunter4694 So again. FGO not FGO JP will die
So they go the Nintendo-route. Sad to see, especially because I liked to listen to the music of new story chapters.
Luckily I've already downloaded the music for OC III I wanted, kinda dodged a bullet there.
Man they doing this shit to themselves when u only give chapter 1 of the story lock out
Man this sucks wtf are they thinking
Oh, so you know @All Muscle, huh? Interesting...
Yeah we need to fight, stupid bad rules
its sony.. of course lol..
Maybe they trying to copy tsukihime route specific part can't be stream to avoid spoiler and keep the magic experience of the story.
nobody that watch those videos care about that
I recently got a nasty dmca from them... its not that safe to cover fgo anymore...
Its time for backlash folks
No you're right the halloween event requires lb 5 and the morgan event requires lb 6.
so backwards and frustrating.
You can't just but the genie back int the bottle.
Also I get up really early for work and see a few random JP streams play FGO! one or two are doing ordreal call 3! I got to wonder how it will affect them..
Some other gatcha games would kill for the kind of exposure FGO sometimes get with streaming!
Video starts at 1:35
Halloween wants you to beat LB5 apparently last time I checked
I literally just finished 5.1 a few hours ago
Doesn't this kind of thing only apply to the contracted streamers/content creators in Japan?
A even a year of content blocking is is ridiculous personally I'd say 3 months is pushing it I'd accept 4 months but lb3 is old news
Ah, Lasagna: they'll cut off their nose to spite their face, then cut off their head to spite their nose.
I was just thinking did you get Anniplex NA new rule set? cause in theorie none JP players aren't even allowed to play on JP servers.
Cause you can still use NA material Sony/Anniplex didn't sent out a new rule set in english right? so this rule only applies to JP content.
Let hope it stay’s that way 🙏
This really sucks. I knew some new strict policies were coming. Now. We shall see the fall slowly.
Also yes, if you have been paying attention for the past 2 years, you can see where the company has been going on this.
so if somebody tries to add a BGM on their channel it will get copyright strike?
Yep, and Sony Music will be the one to send the copyright strike so you can't do anything except comply.
It feels and looks stupid.
FGO is a region locked game and doesn't have much players like these new gacha games even though the Fate franchise is widely known. I'm really hoping can evolve like Star Rail, but they're evolving backwards and trying to kill the people who have been supporting their game. Baffling and pathetic, really (or maybe pitiful).
how to kill a community :kekw:
I often call fgo the Nintendo of gacha games. This was NOT what i meant.
Buddy, Sony is not going full Nintendo with FGO. They're just timegating fresh content behind the new guidelines; all the older videos are fine for now.

Full disclosure after years of playing I left for Nikke
After 5 years I quit this game. I feel free 🗣

Sony does it again...
They want to sunset the game. Make it worse for people that like it is an easy way to achieve it.
Tbf it's not like the game has much farther to go, anyway. The final battle at Antarctica base will probably be the game's final chapter no matter what.
Well shit
FGO has the worst gacha in the industry. Having achieved that, their new goal is to have the worst relationship with the fanbase/content creators in the industry.
They are shit, but they have a long ways to go before achieving the "worst relationship with fanbase/content creators in the industry" title. I mean, they have to pass Nintendo, Playstation, Ubisoft, EA, Actiblizzard, and pretty much any company that ever consulted with Sweet Baby Inc.
But yeah, it probably won't stop them from trying.
this is ridiculous
Poor decision on Lasengles part
So no more FGO JP vids pass LB 4, until 3 mouths. Just please leave NA in peace 🙏
A lot of the things you said regarding later lostbelts are kinda spoilery. I regret telling a new player to look at your channel honestly. Some things you said weren't necessary.
So after almost a decade FGO finally went down to the Mariana trench
I can understand Tsukihime, but this is ridiculous! How the hell am I going to strategize certain boss encounters if videos covering them don't exist? And I'd rather not study the wiki knowing that a translation likely hasn't landed
There's still the FGO fandom wiki. It gets updated regularly so just wait a while after new content drops & you should be good to go.
