yea i collected every single gold card and most of the costumes there was a few costumes i never could find or i think there was one i found but couldnt get
Listen man. I 100% completed this game as a pre-teen, without a guide if I recall. Yes it was frustrating, yes I felt like giving up sometimes. But fuck you, I did it. You can do it too. Also fuck Rainbow Palace so hard.
I did, plenty of people did. It really isn't that hard. An internet faq or magazine could walk you through the game in about 10 hours or less. It's hardly a "no-life" game to finish unlike some real bastard games now, like any blizzard game.
I have never seen this game being mastered like this, very Masterful, i loved playing this all the time and im shocked at the strats, i wanna get good like that.
It's tool assisted (which means what he is doing would be nearly impossible to do so perfectly normally). Still impressive, but it's not like he just sat there and played through in one perfect run.
That ingenious little timesaver at 11:55 really made me smile. I was a fan of your Bomberman 64 videos you made some years ago and it's nice to see a finished optimized run now. Excellent job zvsp!
ever since i saw the WIP runs, i've been dying to see this published. not only am i glad to see it on TASVideos after all this time, i'm even more glad to see that the run has been improved dramatically-- something i hadn't thought possible. bravo!
Well that's not actually a human playing, it is a tas (tool assisted speedrun) You can look it up, because i'm too lazy to write the full meaning of it :P
Holy smokes. Never knew those kinds of bomb ladders and bridges were possible. Watched the WIP's, were already impressed with those, but this TAS just really polished the game up nicely.
Fun fact. The thing in the very first stage? You practically NEED to do that in order to get the time gold card. Or at the very least, some really bonkers bomb jumps.
The credits showed some sequences of Bomberman building bomb staircases to places you thought were inaccessible, such as the warp in Green Gardens 1, encouraging you to actually go hunt for secret areas and 100% gold cards and custom pieces, which is by far the must frustrating and difficult part of the game. So by your description, the credits are a self-fulfilling prophecy. Either that or they were just trying to add replay value.
I miss the days of video games when difficulty was celebrated and desired. A time before video games turned into interactive tech demos and movies that just held your hand all the way to a "YOU WIN" screen.
Bomberman at his most sociopathic. Killing literally everything in sight with the precision and speed of a madman, while attempting and SUCCEEDING AT feats of skill that I didn't even know existed for exploitation. It really makes me wanna play the old game again and try this crazy sh*t xDD
I played this game when it first came out i was about 10 11 It took me a full year to get 120 gold cards (or to even know about level 6) (i still dont have all the customs) its great to see how flashy and all the neat tricks you used on it
Man some of those gold card placements (and those question mark things which I'll guess to be multiplayer costume parts based on the second bomberman) have downright devious hiding spots
I have a soft spot for the American version actually. The voices sound so forced, it's funny. XD especially when Regulus yells, "You'll! PAY!" or Altair going, "You wanna fight ME?" It has a charm to it.
best bomberman man game of all time change my mind. i thought MAYBE the switch would have a similar game mode, but switch was classic bomberman which was a huge turn off for me.
As a child i remember we had it as first game with the N64, we understood this game was so Hard for us we would never manage to finish the game. a little week after we swiped it at the shop with Bango & Kazooie and were super satisfied xD And... Years later I bought Bomberban for a decent revenge >:)
Man, if they ported this game with just an upgrade to the graphics so it doesn't look like a potato on today's screens and the hardware (render) so it doesn't lag so harshly (N64 limitations, mate) I would die happy (after maybe never 100%ing this game.)
He suicides so he can get all his lives back so he can death warp in the later part of the level. Backtracking to get back to the entrance of the rooms in the same stage would take forever, but since this is a speed run, death abuse is used to minimize the time spent in the level overall.
I'm convinced that some of these puzzles, especially the ones in Blue Resort, are ONLY possible to solve by using some of this bizarre bounce jumping shit. I could never solve so much of this damn game...
It feels so weird hearing Bomberman's Japanese voice after being so adjusted to his English voice. I mean, he doesn't even sound like a "man" here. Sure, his original English voice is not very much like a "man" either, but at least it was a bit more buyable.
the pause at 39:40 where you got stuck on the lip of godzilla's mouth was the most fucked up thing I've ever seen. You should have kicked the bomb earlier and you ruined the run because of it
Two Questions Nahoc10: You made that with TAS. The bombs are directly exploding when you put them. Is that in real game in any way possible? And: Are the jumps over gips in real game possible too?
everything done is possible in the game, alot of which is not possible by a human (T.A.S meaning Tool Assisted Speedrun, and hes playing the game with hundreds to thousand savestates and frame by frame)
I didn't realize how cryptic and insane some of the gold cards are to get, explains why as a kid this game took me forever to beat
yea i collected every single gold card and most of the costumes there was a few costumes i never could find or i think there was one i found but couldnt get
I know it is pretty randomly asking but does anybody know a good website to stream newly released movies online ?
@Forest Rhys lately I have been using flixzone. Just google for it =)
@@jayedgar7394 wao thanks for the information bot it will be very useful i have to thank u 1000 times for it
anyways who cares about ur scam pages
Doesn't matter if tas or not. This is a master piece. Perfection.
not even close to halfway into this run and im already saying "nice" on multiple occasions. this is sick dude!
WE NEED HIM IN SMASH BROS
Too bad, my dude. He got demoted to a mere Assist Trophy, the absolute cemetery of any potential playable character.
No! We need more cool games like this not another fucking smash!
How do you feel about a mii brawler costume?
@@YeeeetusYoinkus Hudson was disbanded years ago after they were bought by Konami.
Play super smash flash 2
Holy Jesus man, that was a great TAS.
Great job man
That moment when you realize that you'll never be able to 100% this game.
You have to have no life to actually do a 100% run by yourself
Listen man. I 100% completed this game as a pre-teen, without a guide if I recall. Yes it was frustrating, yes I felt like giving up sometimes. But fuck you, I did it. You can do it too.

Who ever is playing dam! Genius with the bombs!!! Jesus
Joshua Milton TAS is playing
All this time my idol Sirius was a bad guy. Childhood ruined.
Sorry to hear.
Regulus is a pretty cool guy though.
You didn't know? How could he be your Idol then? Or was it because his brother and sister got "killed" ?
Still my all time top 10 anime betrayals
Ikr
Brings back awesome childhood memories of when I used to play this and drink my strawberry milk
One of the best games for the 64.
This is the craziest tas video i have seen
Bomberman should be in Smash. Just hearin that adorable "Hoyt-toh" every time he picks up a bomb makes my heart sing.
Yes. He should be more then an assist trophy
I have never seen this game being mastered like this, very Masterful, i loved playing this all the time and im shocked at the strats, i wanna get good like that.

excelent TAS, i love this game, Don pepe y sos globos 64
Wow very entertaining run!!! THe moonwalk at 56:21 was hilarious :-D
the way you play is unbeliveable.. well done

すごすぎる… ただのTASではここまでは出来ない
24:15-24:22
Bomberman's had enough of Regulus' crap
I am truly amazed at how precise and memorized you did this speed run like.... Good job! Never seen anything like this.
Well thats not anhuman playing, it's a tas (tool assisted speedrun)
@@Prangleits a human but its not real time
He sounds even more adorable in the JP voice
24:35 wtf awesome speed run I was shocked in the first level
just so that you know, it's a tas (tool assisted speedrun)
if you already knew that, yes, yes it is an awsome speedrun :P
Alright im ready to see some bullshit. lets do this.
Edit: Well that didn't take very long.
Fun fact.
The thing in the very first stage? You practically NEED to do that in order to get the time gold card. Or at the very least, some really bonkers bomb jumps.
I think the 16 minutes of credits are a great illustration of the massive hubris of the developers that made this game so frustrating and difficult
this game isnt difficult at all
+Leichensalat2 you have probably never played it
+tola33n i have finished this game several times. even as a kid.
This is one of my favorite old school games, and the multiplayer is so fun!
Thanks for this uploading. I hope more people would enjoy this run
That scream the enemies make when they're killed. XD
I remember playing this game as a kid, I also remember it didn't exactly hold your hand, so I never ended up mastering the game.
41:40 2319! WE HAVE A 2319! -jumps Bomberman-
A mi se me hacía más difícil encontrar los customs parts que las tarjetas doradas xD Excelente TAS

My childhood shed a tear. I love this game. :)
Thank you for skull f*cking this game
English Bomberman sounds like a girl.
Japanese Bomberman sounds like a little baby.
Take your pick.
japan is better!
either way, he smol
StarMage Smol boi is a tough boi tho
This is the greatest speed run i have ever seen completed by a human being you sir are the greatest you are king of bomberman
BROOOOOO i remember this game from like wayyyyyyy back in the day. Still havnt 100%ed it to this day

never knew there is a different ending, when you collect all those fragment things :O!
I always was too stupid to get them all
Less than a minute in and everything I've known is false
It is not, it's TAS, but if you practice you can also do it this way.
This is TAS and it took one hour, now imagine how would it be if it were us the ones playing.
I gotta say I'm impressed. You got great skills! :)
+DeathStar1977 its a tas
(Tool assisted speedrun)

Moonwalk on the rainbow. XD
so damn nice

You are legendary to make this game look easy
I remember as an 10/12 yr old playing the multiplayer for hours with my friend. This game was amazing.
1:02:14-1:02:49 Resident Evil Ending.

He really masters the art of bomb use, wow!
Awesome TAS GG WP FrankerZ
Wow took me a few months to complete this game when I was 6-7 yrs old, now I witness some new techniques like aye?? The hell you do this, master
DRIZZLE LOCC this is a tool assisted speedrun... It's like cheating

They demonstrate bomb jumping in the ending, which you just get from beating Black Fortress. It's up to you to experiment from there.
This is why Gameshark existed
Been waiting for this !
Merci ! :P

Very entertaining speedrun. Great game.
this TAS fucking rules, period

awesome speedrun.
This is awesome
Even in a TAS, you can't instant big bomb :(
Well played!!!
ok this guy is the second coming of bomber man aint no one play this good

Yeah, I actually got all of them in the first 5 worlds, the one I couldn't get was in Stage 2 of the bonus world, that was by-far the hardest.
i love his voice in the japanese version, better than the american ver.
It must have been hard to handle all the slowdown of this game for a TAS (im no expert). Good job
In the sense that both games are on the N64, yes, it's the same format as SM64. :)
God those were a bitch to get. Getting all of them though unlocks the final world and the end of the game.
