Hey Eric, NIO should automate the self-parking in a way that it will not park perfectly in the center all the time. If the space is too tight, the car should part a little further to the left to allow the driver on the right to get into the car. That will help prevent conflicts with other drivers. Also, instead of having to use the app move the car out of the parking, there should be a feature which the driver can just call on NOMI to move the car out halfway or 3/4 way for easy access.
Probably will have the ability to remotely summon the car with NAD in the future.
@@Eric_GarrisonWhat I am referring is not exactly self driving. It may need cameras and lidar just to make sure there is nothing in the way for the few feet it’s going to move forward. This is sort of like the summon feature.
NIO should reward you for your efforts to help them improve their product.

You can, it’s kind of annoying but search “g box “ on baidu and you’ll see how it’s done. I’m sure there are other ways but that worked for me

The NIO phone is not supported outside of China at the moment, should come Europe soon I reckon, maybe then it could work elsewhere.

I think it should work outside of china... not with NIO cars of course but I think you can put in a local sim and it should work. Unless Luke you've seen different?

Love this video. And the phone-vehicle integration does seem pretty awesome. Quite a number of really cool capabilities.
REALLY hope that NIO are promoting all these cool capabilities with marketing campaigns in China. Honestly, it’s a real differentiator, so they should be promoting this like crazy along with the battery swap option.
