I was top of my class in math, But it was back in the late 60s. This is pretty awesome! So much I have forgotten. My son is doing new math and way over my head,
i am in fifth grade and i skipped third and fourth. i was so far back and they didn’t want me in third so i was gonna be in fourth but we don’t have one in the school i’m in, it’s only fifth and sixth. i struggled with math for as long as i can remember and i didn’t know either. i would ask my teacher for help and just couldn’t get it because it was never really explained correctly and when i would think i got it, i wouldn’t and would just struggle till class was over. this really helped and i’m very thankful for this video. let’s hope that once i get back to class after this christmas break that i can get it!😸 thank you!

as an 8th grader who learned this in 4th grade, 2018-2019, this is really helpful because I moved school districts and what I learned in elementary is what I'm learning at this new place, in middle school what we learn at my new school, 6th-8th is what I learned 3rd-5th at my old school. and before I came to the new school and I was still at the old one for middle school I was learning what the kids at my new school learned in 3rd-5th so basically it was middle school math in elementary and elementary math in middle school which is backwards but that's how I learned it so having to relearn it and learn other stuff its really hard and this was very helpful!(I live in California so that might be why it was backwards idk)

I have a BS in physics with a math minor, but I have to take a standardized test without a calculator so here I am. If you feel bad because you are struggling with this level of math, just remember you're not "dumb" and you're not alone, you're just at a specific time in your life where you need this type of skill. I'm 25 and I've been out of high school for 7 years and forgot how to do basic division problems lol, tysm for this video.
I thought I was the only one who's out of high school and looking at basic division problems here! I just hate the fact that they make us use calculators once we learn them because I remember how I was good at this in fifth grade but didn't expect I would lose it and actually need it at some point and not know. I felt embarrassed 😅

I have a BS in physics with a math minor, but I have to take a standardized test without a calculator so here I am. If you feel bad because you are struggling with this level of math, just remember you're not "dumb" and you're not alone, you're just at a specific time in your life where you need this type of skill. DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED!!!
So I have been struggling with long division and so I said the simples way is to look my phone and go on TH-cam or Google and here I am know gonna pass the exam test whatever word u would say all I want to say is thxxx
