I've tried Miche deep conditioner (original). I've yet to try the gel/mousse. Like you said you might need a trim and your result will be better. I don't have the same hair type (don't like the typing system.. fine 3c/4a ) but I enjoy your content. I took years to successfully do wash n go but with practice you'll get there.
I’m a subscriber because we have the exact same hair, including and especially the super frizz. I wonder why some hair is naturally frizzy. It’s not a matter of being type 4 because all the 4s I see can achieve a well-defined wash-n-go. I want to do a wash-n-go without all the frizz, but I’ve concluded that this isn’t possible. I think this hair is just inherently frizzy.
On second thought, the best definition I’ve ever had came from the Taliah Waajid Curl Cream. Shea butter is its premier ingredient. I used it to touch up a style by putting it on dry/damp hair. My curls were beautifully defined with a tacky residue.☹️. That suggests to me this hair needs an incredibly thick coat to tame the frizz. Have you tried it?
Yes the frizz. You’re right it’s in different hair types too. Definitely an inherent trait I guess for some because like you said some type 4 hair has a very defined curl. I’m determined to find a solution for the frizz lol that’s why I keep trying these products. On the other hand I bet you can also get great twistout or braidout. My hair texture can lock in those styles SO well but not a wash and go. I LOVE TW curl cream, the most definition. I don’t feel a massive tacky residue but with other curl products my hair just eats it up and then it’s dry again. Oh and there’s another brand- Qhemet Biologics Aethiopika Hydrate & Twist Butter. Very thick and moisturizing, I highly recommend. My hair was really shiny after too
Have you ever tried Wetline Extreme gel? It's a thick gel which is ideal for taming and defining thick, dense hair. I'm willing to bet that gel will give you the frizz-free, defined curls you're looking for!@HeyitsKimberlee

I’ll never forget my one and only successful wash and go from Hair Rules Salon lol that’s how I know it’s possible!
