Can you verify this for me. A man who claims to be from Sierra Leone has told a story of very poor people in villages that are exploited for the diamonds that are so abundant in these villages. He is asking for money that he claims he is sending to help the poor people of these villages. His channel is Star Okuss on YT. I am interested in verifying and to help but your video shows such a different story. Thanks for any input you may have!!!
Hey I understand where you are coming from. There are some parts in Sierra Leone that is in dying need of shelter and food. A lot of people who live in America or any developed countries, do things like that to help people who are in need back home. My family also do a lot of charity work and when i went back that was done. I did not add that part to my video because of privacy reason. However if you can help that would be nice and hope that this person is actually using the money to do what he claim he is doing. I hope this help...

I’d like some answers. I had my ancestry DNA done a few years ago and it says my ancestors are from the Mende tribe. I have been viewing many African countries. Sierra Leone seems to be a very poor country and is not progressing like other African countries. Why? Is it corruption? Lack of education & skills? No meaning way to trade goods and services the world might want? Exactly what is causing poverty in this country? Don’t mean to insult but Sierra Leone seems to be significantly behind in its development. I wanted to visit but based on what I’ve seen, I will not.
Then simply don’t go! No-one forced you. So therefore stay where your at 🤷🏽♀️

Hello Erlene, I’m not sure where u got those information from but I will like to tell you that Sierra Leone is just any other west African countries. Most of not all have the good, the bad, and the ugly. I love my country and o had an amazing time. I lived in America for almost all my life and when I went back to Sierra Leone, it felt like I was somewhat still in Africa. If you want to go it will be great for you to experience different culture and also God might touch your heart and you can maybe help the country out to develop. Don’t let what you read on the internet stop you from a life time opportunity. Have a bless day and thank you for watching my video💕.
