Thank you very much Coach Mark for this in-depth analysis. I'm amazed with the level of detail in the video. Until now, I only looked at the basics of openings, but this is the first time, I've been transend into a middle game. Please keep uploading. I'm a big follower of this channel!!! ❤
Hi Amisha! Thanks so much for watching and welcome to the channel. I'm so glad to hear you think the video will help. Let me know if you have any questions. Yes, my hope is for this channel to be around for many years to come, so stay tuned, I'm just getting started ha!
Hey David. Absolutely, parts c, d, and e are coming up soon. I got a little side tracked with the England Gambit series since so many people were asking about it, but my attention is back on the Caro-Kann series. I hope to have the last 3 videos done within the next 2 weeks. Thanks, I always welcome reminders and suggestions. Have a good day my friend!
Hey Rafee, great question. One of the best ways to help your calculation skills in chess when you're playing online is to get in the habit of drawing arrows, highlighting squares, and start small. If you're trying to calculate 3 moves ahead, start by drawing the first 2 arrows of your pieces and your opponent's pieces. Then highlight the new squares your pieces are on. Practice this on puzzles and playing against robots or even unrated games where winning and losing doesn't matter. Once you get into this habit, your brain will automatically start drawing and highlighting those squares in your mind and it will start to become natural as you work your way up to calculating more and more moves in advance. Hope this helps!
