I mean just WOW! Stumbled across Asaf by accident. This concert just appeared as a TH-cam suggestion so I played it expecting to skip within a minute or two. But no! Hooked immediately for the whole concert. I seriously have not heard anyone so innovative and original since David Bowie - and I am a massive Bowie fan!! He is like all artists in one, such range and emotion, never seen anyone quite like him. But why am I jusy discovering such a talent now? I mean he has been around a while. Is it because he is Israeli? Kinda think if he was British or American, he'd be an international star now. I've just seen he has some concerts upcoming, unfortunately not in UK but I will travel to see this guy, blown away. If you were at this concert, you have seen a true musical genius at work. And Asaf...if you read this, come to the UK (Yorkshire please)!
Also discovered him recently. Also found out he doesn't like to be called Iraeli, he says he is just an artist from Israel, he can only tell his own story and we should not be defined by man made borders.

This man is the definition of the word Artist. The genuineness and the brilliance of his creation and his performance are as immaculate as the work of an angel, as they are fragile and humane at the same time. My best friend offered me her extra ticket for this very show and she had told me very little about how much she appreciated this musician in the previous month. It's a night I will never regret attending. The picture of his soul that was open for all of us to see and his words of love, pain, humanity and gratitude will forever stay in a special part of my heart. Thank you Asaf Avidan, for showing me what it truly means to love the Art of Music.

We were from the lucky ones to watch this unforgettable concert. I see now the start of Anagnorisis song, and I am again moved to see an artist to be so honest on stage, to express and share with his audience his raw feelings at that specific moment , without “censoring” them. We saw Asaf, as an artist and human, to connect to the vulnerabilities of thousands of people in his audience. And there was that moment when those feelings intersected and we had a moment of feeling free from our own self. Listening for the 5th time, still can't believe the perfect musicality of this band and Asaf. Shivering deep into your skin, changing rhythms and melodies, difficult to play if you want to grab parts on your own music instrument, but worth every second to try. Unbelievably nice music, the music of the music itself. One genre, call it Asaf Avidan in its own right. So many thanks for that....

Quel changement ! Toujours le même univers mais une aura tellement différente. J'avais eu la chance de découvrir Asaf Avidan lors d'un concert au Théâtre Femina à Bordeaux il y a 4ans, une salle très intime, et j'avais été sous le choc de sa performance, l'impression qu'il nous avait tout donné sur scène, transmis ses émotions, fait partager son immense talent et sa sensibilité mais sans rien prendre en retour. C'était vraiment déroutant et exceptionnel. J'étais repartie totalement conquise, avait vidé le rayon de ses albums à la Fnac et les écoute depuis régulièrement. Le sentiment qui se dégage de ce concert est à nouveau magnifique, j'espère qu'il absorbe aujourd'hui autant de bonheur et de bien être que sa musique m'en apporte. Merci Monsieur.

The man is an amazing musician but more tha this his control and virtousity in controlling his voice is comprable to the way that leonard berenstein plays the piano as davinci sculptured and as salvador dalli painted . His tlent his inginiousity and his proffessionalism are uniq and we listteners should tank our luck forever having this chance to be able to have the pleasure and honor to live in this times. I have been fighting with myself to paint for months. I have to have music to be able to paint. Music is my inspiration and I love many different genres of music - from medieval, through classical and opera, to blues, jazz and pop and rock. I discovered Asaf Avidan about a week ago and I am back at the canvas with music that inspires me to paint once again. Thank you, Asaf Avidan for your ability to make music that is truly inspirational - you encompass so many genres in your compositions and your voice is an amazing musical instrument used to perfection.
I have to share this: it is exactly one year ago that I discovered this artist by chance. This concert one year ago made me take my sax and playalong with joy and astonishment. So now I had a year, twelve months to reflect, to proof, to look and search for other musicians who would inspire me and my own artistic work - and no one can blame me for not having tried or not having searched - BUT I have to admit that within this whole year, this twelve month and 365 days I found nothing that impressed me more. After 12 month's listening and watching and regurgitating and reflecting, and listening to interviews as well, I am able to name it a bit better what this music does and mean to me - it's this overwhelming combination of virtuousity, expression, dedication, honesty, sensibility, heart and soul and intellect, that brings me to tears that brings me to laughter that brings me to dance that brings me to think and reflect. During this year I had the chance to visit a live concert and get the proof that this artist is really real....I was blessed to hear words of humanity and empathy, words of the difficult search for the contrary of black and white, feelings to invent instead of hatress and revenge......and this was not marketing....BUT an intellectual and sensitive soul was speaking - one that suffered, one that overcame loss and pain by translating all that and the never ending search into beauty and - as in my case - into the power to encourage others. Who could ask for more? This artist is so incredible, stunning, breathtaking, adorable - but real- I proofed that 😅- and indeed made my year happier and more meaningful. Thanks that

I stumbled in this concert when it came out in youtube 2 years ago. I watched//heard it all with my mouth open,probably crying.Since then i have repeated this at least 20 times because he brings me feelings and peace. I showed it to my girlfriend and a friend of mine, both having the same feelings. We then attended the concert which happened in lycabyttous theatre in athens too. It was a turmoil of feelings especially ''your anchor'' where he was screaming in his guitar.We were truly lest speechless for a lot of time. Still thinking about that day. A truly amazing artist. This has not happened with another artist and believe me i have been to a lot of concerts.

A few months ago, walking around Lisbon, I heard a song that was playing on the loudspeakers of a kiosk-bar in Praça do Carmo. I stopped, listened and became delighted at that moment. I was ecstatic, because it was very good quality music, and by an artist I had never heard before. I have been fighting with myself to paint for months. I have to have music to be able to paint. Music is my inspiration and I love many different genres of music - from medieval, through classical and opera, to blues, jazz and pop and rock. I discovered Asaf Avidan about a week ago and I am back at the canvas with music that inspires me to paint once again. Thank you, Asaf Avidan for your ability to make music that is truly inspirational - you encompass so many genres in your compositions and your voice is an amazing musical instrument used to perfection.

I have to share this: it is exactly one year ago that I discovered this artist by chance. This concert one year ago made me take my sax and playalong with joy and astonishment. So now I had a year, twelve months to reflect, to proof, to look and search for other musicians who would inspire me and my own artistic work - and no one can blame me for not having tried or not having searched - BUT I have to admit that within this whole year, this twelve month and 365 days I found nothing that impressed me more.
After 12 month's listening and watching and regurgitating and reflecting, and listening to interviews as well, I am able to name it a bit better what this music does and mean to me - it's this overwhelming combination of virtuousity, expression, dedication, honesty, sensibility, heart and soul and intellect,
that brings me to tears
that brings me to laughter
that brings me to dance
that brings me to think and reflect.
During this year I had the chance to visit a live concert and get the proof that this artist is really real....I was blessed to hear words of humanity and empathy, words of the difficult search for the contrary of black and white, feelings to invent instead of hatress and revenge......and this was not marketing....BUT an intellectual and sensitive soul was speaking - one that suffered, one that overcame loss and pain by translating all that and the never ending search into beauty and - as in my case - into the power to encourage others.
Who could ask for more?
This artist is so incredible, stunning, breathtaking, adorable - but real- I proofed that 😅- and indeed made my year happier and more meaningful. Thanks

I stumbled in this concert when it came out in youtube 2 years ago. I watched//heard it all with my mouth open,probably crying.Since then i have repeated this at least 20 times because he brings me feelings and peace. I showed it to my girlfriend and a friend of mine, both having the same feelings. We then attended the concert which happened in lycabyttous theatre in athens too. It was a turmoil of feelings especially ''your anchor'' where he was screaming in his guitar.We were truly lest speechless for a lot of time. Still thinking about that day. A truly amazing artist. This has not happened with another artist and believe me i have been to a lot of concerts.

A few months ago, walking around Lisbon, I heard a song that was playing on the loudspeakers of a kiosk-bar in Praça do Carmo. I stopped, listened and became delighted at that moment. I was ecstatic, because it was very good quality music, and by an artist I had never heard before. Luckily, I remembered to use one of those music recognition apps, which identified the song and this wonderful artist. Fan ever since...
