- Got more snow to #plow today in #Maine but we were able to do some #firewood as well. Felt good to do a bit of sawing with the #stihl and splitting with the #allwood Musclewood.
More snow tonight but hopefully tomorrow we can get some lumber sawed out with the sawmill and get a bit more firewood done as well.

Glad to see your feeling better. I really liked to see that orange and white saw running in your woodyard.
@@TheWiseChoiceFirewood I'll run anything that's good and sharp.
Great to see you’re feeling better and feeding the beast some wood.
@@Log_Whisperer a little better everyday! Felt good to split some wood for a change.
Good to see you’re feeling better. I hate being sick. The work never ends. Good stuff.
@@mercurymangarage6186 nope it just keeps piling up
You're a good man. Neighbours are lucky! I think seeing you bucking in two foot of snow was ths craziest firewooding I've seen. Good on ya mate, it's hard to keep a good man down! Cheers from HB NZ
@@cliffjenkins6419 I love what I do. Thanks so much for stopping by cliff!
Great work , glad to see your feeling better
@@RumduolAngkor thank you! Not 100% but much better
G’day, Russ. I’m afraid we have totally the opposite down here in Australia. We have terrible heatwaves and way up north major flooding as well, lol. No snow to report. I can’t wait until winter arrives for us in Tasmania 👍🏼. I’ve got my firewood all cut and stacked for this year and next as well.
@@Chucky-b7v always good to plan ahead
Don't ya just love neighbors like that? I used to plow a church parking lot and the people that lived next door were that way. The lady would stand out there to make sure no snow balls rolled down the piles and hit their snow fence. If it did, they called the cops every single time. It was stupid and no one deserves that kind of aggravation! People need to be more Neighborly! 👍🍁
@@NeighborlyHomestead I offered to plow his for free if he moved the barricades and he said he would sue me if I knocked them over 🤣
@WilleysFirewood oh boy!
@ I gave him my lawyers number and asked him not to speak to me anymore that my lawyer could answer any concerns he has.
Yep it takes all kinds. But from I've seen there are far more good people around than the other.

Russ it looks like winter there ! Oh I don't like that wet stuff when you have to work outside , Nice to have a few little side jobs for sure :) nice bundle if kindling 👍, Stay warm bud" We were -38c this morning again
@@littlegriffoffgridalberta6837 that is what we have had is either really cold or snowing. No in between here.
Haha. And here I was feeling bad for leaving my splitter outside to get snowed on. Never mind i had a dusting compared to you guys 😂
The new cover will be going on it tomorrow at some point after I get it all melted off
Glad to see you are doing better!! I am really surprised that you don't split way ahead!
@@grofffamilyprojects we will be splitting ahead very soon we have some big plans coming up

Great Video as always Russ. Nice Snowplowing of all your Accounts. Nice looking Rounds of Oak you are Splitting, correct me if I am Wrong. Sounds good with your Saw Mill Work Tomorrow. Those were actually cedar rounds for kindling. I don't get much oak in my area.
i enjoy seeing a Stihl in your hands occasionally
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead I'll use anything that works.
That makes a lot of kindling fast!
@@cabinviewfirewood it sure does!
Nothing better than the silence of a snow storm. I does suck for cutting and splitting wood!
@@peterfreeman3317 I'm used to that this point. I like the seasons but winter gets old fast now.
Russ...You may want to suggest that instead of going to the expense of tapping the part of the wedge the hold-down bolts thread into that All Wood consider extending the rods that the block sets down on another inch and use pins and circlips to hold the block in place.
@@obxkoastie8170 that would make the wedge change faster. I'll let them know.
White gold, haha. It sure slows firewood production down on this end. I live cedar for fire starting. Got a buddy who gets aus a little from time to time.
@@OpenAirAdventure I usually keep a few logs of cedar down back to make kindling with. I love the smell of it.
HOWDY RUSS, Becides being quiet after it shows it's really beautiful out. I live in Denver Colorado and we are very lucky as that the snow rarely lasts on the ground for a week. Mostly it is gone the next day unless we receive over a foot of snow. But you have learned how to adapt to your weather. Have you been able to wash her yet? Or have you given up on that for now? Also how has that cover worked.out for you?

@@alanconrad7369 it did get a bath finally! I'm going to get the cover on it tomorrow after I get the rest of the snow melted off of it.
