Celtic are the greatest club and the best fans on the planet.
Simple. We would win the Premier league in 5 years were we in it given the huge sums involved.
You English fans have no idea about my club.
Enjoy this guy but you won’t have him forever. We learned that the hard way.

  • @Scott_M
    @Scott_M ปีที่แล้ว +95

Have to say, as a Rangers fan, I actually like the guy. Had a charisma about him, wasn’t interested in any bull and built a great rapport with the fans.
Played attacking football and stuck to his principles.
Will be interesting to see how his philosophy goes at Spurs as he won’t be able to attack every game like he done with Celtic.
Also interesting how the Celtic players react as they really bought into what he was doing.

    • @CynisterHD

As a Ranger's fan, I have to admit he did an amazing job at Celtic, completely changed the team not just by the new recruits but the way they play. It's inevitable that he left, that's just the way it goes in Scottish football, it's just seen as a stepping stone for players and managers that do really well.

Apart from Kane and Son Spurs squad is bang average anyway, outgoings won't be the issue, he needs to be given full control of the transfers to get the exact players he wants in every position and get rid of people who aren't buying into his mantra... during his time at Celtic only the captain Callum McGregor and Greg Taylor kept their 1st team places after his first 2 transfer windows, basically everyone else that brought the success over the past 2 seasons were brought in by him... Spurs fans don't be surprised if your team is suddenly filled with players from the Asian market, they may be unknown to you but technically and fitness-wise they're levels above anything in your current squad.

Postecoglou plays an attacking style of Australian football which is unique compared to other styles in the world. The players are always moving and passing forward. It is a very relentless brand of football that has it's roots in the Aussie spirit of never giving up and being resilient. Look at the official symbol of Australia, it's the kangaroo and emu, the only two animals that can't take backward steps, only forward steps. This shows how an isolated culture and environment can shape unique styles of football. This style would surprise the EPL like it has with the Scottish league.

Postecoglou will be a great fit for Spurs and more particularly for Levy. He wasn't likely to give up his position at Celtic for anything less than a great contract, so looks like everyone should be happy. With most of the transfers having been planned already, he will be charged with MANAGING the team, and might only be able to add a couple of his own players the first season, so it's going to be a slow burner to rebuild Spurs get them back to their target league position.

Ange Postecoglou is an Australian football (soccer) coach and former player, widely regarded for his achievements in the sport. He was born on August 27, 1965, in Athens, Greece, and immigrated to Australia with his family at the age of five.
As a player, Postecoglou had a moderately successful career. He played as a defender for several Australian clubs, including South Melbourne and Brisbane Lions, during the 1980s and 1990s. However, his true impact came when he transitioned into coaching.
Postecoglou's coaching career began in the early 2000s, where he had stints with several Australian clubs, such as South Melbourne, Brisbane Roar, and Melbourne Victory. His tenure with the Brisbane Roar (then known as Queensland Roar) was particularly noteworthy. From 2009 to 2012, he led the club to unprecedented success, winning back-to-back A-League titles in 2010-11 and 2011-12. His style of play, which emphasized possession and attacking football, earned him praise and recognition.
In 2013, Postecoglou was appointed as the head coach of the Australian national team, the Socceroos. He took charge of the team ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Under his leadership, the Socceroos played an exciting brand of football and showcased significant improvements. Although Australia didn't advance past the group stage in the World Cup, they received praise for their performances against strong opponents like the Netherlands and Spain.
Postecoglou's biggest accomplishment as the Socceroos coach came in 2015 when Australia won the AFC Asian Cup. The tournament was hosted by Australia, and the team's success was celebrated as a significant milestone in the country's football history. He implemented his attacking philosophy, instilling a high-tempo style of play that captured the imagination of fans.
In 2017, Postecoglou stepped down as the Australian national team coach after securing qualification for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. His decision surprised many, but he expressed a desire to pursue new challenges in his career.
In 2018, Postecoglou ventured outside Australia and became the head coach of the Japanese club Yokohama F. Marinos. In his first season, he guided the team to the J1 League title, marking the club's first league championship in 15 years. Postecoglou's innovative tactics and commitment to attacking football were praised by fans and analysts alike.
His success with Yokohama F. Marinos caught the attention of European clubs, and in June 2021, Postecoglou was appointed as the manager of Celtic Football Club in Scotland. This marked his first managerial role in European football.
Ange Postecoglou's career has been defined by his dedication to an attacking and entertaining style of play. He has brought success to clubs and national teams alike and is respected as one of Australia's most influential football figures.

He also plays the Pepe style of play. Youll notice the ball boys get trained up to get the ball back in play very quick. Free kicks and throw-ins are done very quick too. Its a fast and furious style of play. The spurs fans will love this style.. It catches teams off guard. Just look at Kyogos 2 goals versus Hibs in the premier sports league cup final. First goal is a quickly taken freekick. 2nd goal is seconds after the whilstles blown for the 2nd half..Both goals catching hibs sleeping..Goals youll see a lot at Spurs..I guarantee you spurs fans will love this style.
