I'm a Nova Scotian, grew up in a fishing community and yes, it's true ...if someone is in trouble on the water and you have a boat you give assistance no matter what....next time it could be you needing the help.
After the Swiss Air crash, it was fishermen who responded first, looking for survivors 💔 and continued to help in recovery efforts of remains.
Beautiful video, hopefully you come back and have an opportunity to tour the places you didn't this time.
You seriously cracked me up with your commentary on the US border agents, 🤣🤣🤣 yeah ....TSA is like that too.....I love how friendly Canadian agents are.

Couldn't have said it better. Even ending up in a snow bank everyone stops to help I've never seen anyone just pass by.

I'm a senior citizen who now lives in New Brunswick but I grew up in Nova Scotia on the south shore. I have visited some of the places in your video. If you should find your way back again, proceed from Lunenburg along the coast line to Mahone Bay, Bridgewater, Liverpool, Lockeport, (I grew up across the bay from Lockeport), Shelburne, Yarmouth and finally Digby. Stick to the original old roads as much as possible. I saw you were in Halls Harbor, (which I have also visited), but you should continue through the Annapolis Valley to Truro and wind your way back into New Brunswick. As you know there are many other side trips you could take along the way. I loved your quest for a good lobster roll. My father was a lobster fisherman so I grew up eating lobster. A few years ago my wife and I did a trip around the south shore and I tried a new fish chowder each day. Never really had a bad one! One more thing - if you are ever in Maine again there is a place called the Eagle's Nest in Brewer, Maine, next door to Bangor. A rather bare bones place but awesome lobster rolls and great food in general! Happy trailering!

I’ve lived in Nova Scotia for 38 years. This is the best video I’ve seen. However you missed the lobster capital of the world and the best lobster rolls when you didn’t get to Yarmouth Nova Scotia. You will have to come back.

We loved the East Coast so much that we would move there at some point. Thank you for the content. Made me remember our trip.

As a few of the comments mentioned, there is so much more to discover in Nova Scotia, I hope you get a chance to return, bring some friends with you next time, we can promise you beautiful beaches, amazing water falls, friendly people
and all the lobster you can eat.
Hope you can make it back someday.

Just wanted to say thanks for promoting tourism in the Maritimes. My GF and I were supposed to do a BBQ tour of your neck of the woods this year and got shut down due to coivd. This video just brings back good memories. Living in Halifax, all we do is wait for the weekend to come so we can leave the city and explore. I honestly cant imagine living anywhere else (except Nazare). I hope you have the opportunity to come back, you should see Newfoundland, its really something and the people there are amazing

Just awesome, truly! I am retiring in 2-3 years and plan on heading east in a Pleasure Way Ascent from PNW for Nova Scotia (birthplace of my father). Will be stopping for some time to explore the Great Lakes. Great videography. Well narrated too. Couldn't have asked for a better video! Thanks!

After touring western Canada in 2017, the Maritime Provinces have been on our bucket list. So we watched your video on our 60 inch Samsung and enjoyed it very much. I love the concept of your content style, it's much like ours. I like that you don't spend copious amounts of time sitting in front of the camera telling me what an area looks like but instead simply showing the scenery complimented by an interesting narrative in voice over. I also like the small edits that capture the intricate little morsels of beauty that are so easily overlooked otherwise. Great job :-)

Those pretty rocks, sometimes contain GOLD! Waverley lake and river were a mini-klondike when the klondike rush overshadowed the comparatively meagre newsworld. No cost to look! ? ! JMH,author.

What A Magnificent Description of A Magnificent Trip throughout Nova Scotia. I grew up on Cape Breton Island, live in Halifax NS; yet you took me to places that I've never been, in my own province. I will definitely be going to the Rose Bay General Store for a lobster roll. Thanks for a beautiful journey through our beautiful province!!!!!
