I like Salah's facial expression in the beginning when Megaman refused to fist bump, Salah was like "Are u sure?"
Megaman is a big fan of Salah, he just wanted to say "Nope, no friendship in battles!" but turned out pretty badly, he went explaining to Salah after the event, they too a pic together happily after.
I know Salah may like to trick peeps quite a few times, but that was DEFINITELY an honest request for a fist-bump and MegaMan refused him in a disrespectful manner.

before anyone makes their Pro Salah comments about the hand shake. No that Megaman was being strategic, Salah is the king of clowning people. Shaking his hand could be a major set up before a match. Its safe to handshake after.
besides true sportsmanship is shown when the fight is DONE.
^This. A battle is a tactical competition, everyone knows Salah will clown you when he can. He is a master of it. They both spoke at the event, and love was shown once it was understood Megaman has nothing but respect for Salah, don't hate because he wanted to win. Those who were there know whats up.

^don't know what that means but if I someone held their hand out and i think its good intentions and go to hand shake and find out the suckah has a knife behind his back for me. My good intention thought has become voided.

Two words. BATTLE TACTICS
Everybody is praising Salah so much. Stop with that 'this is what you get when you refuse a handshake with superstar dancer' already. They both were very entertaining. Salah already made a name for himself so I can understand that alot of people like him. His rounds were dope. But why can't you see that Megaman did a great job too? I'm not so sure about who should win this battle. A tiebreaker would be great here.
And not fist bumping at the start of a battle is no disrespect. There may be some reasons for not doing this. Why would you want to high five or fist bump with somebody when you battle each other during a contest?
It's better to do it afterwards. Megaman did great, haven't seen much of his dancing but what I saw here was a high level popping and musicality. Salah is hard to stop when he starts doing tricks and his signature moves, but Megaman was raw.
That's my opinion.

IAMJEM27 you should respect others if you want to be respected. This guy gave his opinion and I agree with him. Great battle. But I dont see that much musicality in Salah in comparison to Megaman. Meganman was great in his second round.

Salah tried to show respect with a fist bump at the beginning of the battle and Megaman refused. But then Megaman tried to show respect at the end of the battle by trying to shake Salah's hand and Salah refused. Does this just come down to a personal preference as to when (before, after or both) to show respect to another dancer? Or was there more to this?

C'mon.... its not a handshake. Its a fist bump. Bro fist bump. Its safe and transmit even less bacteria than a handshake. And Megaman refuses it. I think he would fit well with the other team recently who low blow and won.
Because Megaman was on the right, he was facing away from the camera. We weren't able to see a lot of the expression on his face and couldn't see the full effect of some of his moves. Showmanship and expression I think does add to the overall battle. In my opinion Salah won the first round but Megaman killed it in the second round, he knew the song and his musicality was on point. As far as the fist bump at the beginning - I think that Megaman wanted to show respect at the end of the battle where as Salah wanted to at the beginning. I think it's just a difference of when to give the props and respect to an opponent.They did end up talking about the battle and the handshake, outside, after it happened. They explained themselves, made up and were cool with each other.
