You officially inspired me to wear Roberto Cavalli today. 🙂 One of the things you have also inspired me to do is to shop Ross and Marshalls more often. I see lots of flankers of various brands like Vince Camuto, Oscar de la Renta, and Perry Ellis. It would be a very interesting series (to me anyway) to see a video covering the different flankers of various "often carried at discount stores" fragrance houses.

Me watching this video hearing you compare Roberto Cavalli and Deja Vu. Cut to me owning both saying nope definitely not… cut to me running to my perfume tray and smelling both and freaking out. Oh my god! They totally smell so similar and I never once made that connection. 😂😂😂

I have heard that Christina Aguilera by Night is very similar to Dior Hypnotic Poison. In my opinion Christina Aguilera has pretty good fragrances for affordable prices.
I agree with this. Xtina has very affordable perfumes. I have Royal Desire by her and it smells like a classier and more expensive version of bath and body works Beach Nights. I also have Inspire which is such a nice fresh scent that doesn’t smell like clean soap, it actually smells amazing - to me it smells like if Britney Spears curious and Dior adore had a baby it would be Inspire.
Absolutely, I own every fragrance of Christina Aguilera, even the discontinued ones, for years now (and a lot of Britney Spears as well) and I love them. Moonlight bloom is my favourite 🥰.
Another great dupe for Hypnotic Poison (love love love) is La Rive - Sweet Hope. It lacks a bit of the depth of Hypnotic Poison, but that might be the thing that some of you might just really like about it.

I told myself I’ll keep my collection at 20, just ordered Calvin klien women! I’m at 25. 😂 this needs to stop!!! I bought and had to return both D&G light&blue edt and intense versions. Loved the citrus but was not a fan of the dry down . My mom said I smelled like a disinfectant and had a headache. But I really wanted a citrus lemon smell. I tried A travel size of under the lemon tree by replica but was not sold. I have a good feeling about Women. Cant wait just ordered at $35. What a steal. If I love it I’m getting a back up bottle
I smelled CK Women in the dept store and I cannot get it off my mind and told myself i’ll buy a full size bottle because it smells freakin’ good! Then I thought I got so lucky because I saw a full sized bottle being sold by Fragrancenet at a super discounted rate for like around ten ish. I ordered 3 other discounted perfumes at the same time and only CK Women did not arrive. And that perfume was the one I was most excited about😩 It says on the tracking it was delivered so I guess maybe a neighbor got it by mistake and liked it. Can’t blame them lol! I’m still gonna get that full size Women bottle soon though🤞🏻❤️
Zara Applejuice actually smells better on me than Chance Eau Tendre…it stays sweet and juicy as opposed to the other one which turns sour on my skin…win win!😍

Hugo Boss is more fruity/vibrant and no playdough :) Roberto Cavalli is a very strong scent, can be headache inducing for the fainted of heart ;) - i think it is the combinartion of white flowers with pepper
Hey girl! I know you’ve probably seen this dupe everywhere but Zara’s Red Temptation is a dupe for BR540. It lasts SO LONG on my skin! Of course I had to order it online but it was worth it 😂
Everyone says that, but I get too much of the "burnt tire" smell in the Red Temptation. A much better dupe for BR540 is the Dossier Ambery Saffron. It has everything you love about Baccarrat Rouge, but none of the things you might not love as much about the Red Temptation.

@@CommonScents85 I smell that too! I was really hoping I would love Red Temptation as much as my precious bottle of BR540, but it has a note I'm having trouble getting past. Which is why the Ambery Saffron has worked great for me for every day. You can try a lot of dupes before finding a scent that grabs you enough to spend hundreds.

Roberto Cavalli for women used to be expensive, got more affordable since it's on the marker for so long. Opera Sospiro is the same perfume inspired by Cavalli but Cavalli still smells better, since Opera has leather notes added and smells more masculine, also doesn't project as much as the Cavalli one

I feel that zara Ruby Berries is similar to Givenchy Irresistible. When I hv sniff at store I was thinking that I hv something similar to this in my collection. I came at home nd sniff my rubby berries by Zara. Very very close in my opinin.
I hate Kayali deja vu, but I hate white florals. It's soooo heavy on the Jasmine/Tuberose blech. Now I know to avoid the Cavalli, was considering it! I like Zara Tuberose but it has no longevity, maybe I'll try the Gucci Flora!
I was at tjmaxx the other day and I saw a bottle that I knew was a perfume that’s sold at urban outfitters. It’s called le gourmand and the name was miel bebe. Immediately I’m like that name sounds good, honey baby 🥹 so I smelled it and OMG immediately I was like, is this Gucci flora gorgeous gardenia?! Needles to say I bought TWO. It was their le jumbo size so it’s a 2.5 oz, $19.99 each 😭 they’re still available on their website, maybe In store too I haven’t checked. But the price at tj maxx was amazing but fortunately they are still affordable even at full price.

A great layer combo, is Butterfly by bath & body works, it has iris in it, and raspberry nectar, I use the lotion, then spray on my stella McCartney Pop perfume, and I've been stopped on the street asking what I'm wearing
Burberry Goddess is good but I swear Vanilla Potion from TJ Maxx smells identical. And Goddess and even Hypnotic Poison pull a little bit play dough on my skin. I can’t stand strong florals either and My Way makes me gag, but My Day ($20) smells WAY better on me and I actually get the sweetness I don’t smell in My Way. I can’t believe I bought it because I HATE My Way and even the bottle looks like it’s a dupe. Good to know about Zara because I got Terre Rouge Absolute that’s a BR540 dupe and it reminds me of Burberry Her.
Sadly, all of Zara's fragrances pull SUPER floral on me - no balance and headache inducing. Boo. But I did just get CK Women from fragrancenet today and I love it! Very office appropriate and totally agree with everything you said!
Zara Apple juice is a dupe to the GREEN Chanel Chance, I know because that's what it's compared to, also I have Chance Tandre and I had apple juice and I gave it away because it was too tart which the green chanel is.
ZARA Tuberose, Orchid and Nuit are the best of the cheapest permanent line :) the only good ones amoungthe cheap line, maybe with Femme (white) and BlackAmber

I thought the same thing when I sniffed Zara Go Fruity, but after wearing them both, I feel like Go Fruity smells like apples. Same vibe as Burberry Her, but less sweet. A apple version instead of strawberry.
I think your attracted to scents that are like juicy couture noir. Lotus pear by the 7 virtues, white by Kenneth Cole smell like that. La via belle by Lancôme, deja vu by kayali, and Armani si smells the same to me
@@notimportant123 I sprayed la via belle and si for sure on my arm by each other and could barely tell the difference. I like the si better than la via belle because it smells a little different but I based deja vu off of memory. I’ll need to try it with the other two
I have an IPSY subscription and when HUDA was the curator of the beauty box Kay Ali Vanilla 21 (I know here you are talking about Deja Vu giong head to head with Roberto Cavalli & Vanilla28 being a bad experience) as a possible product- I didn't receive it and I have yet to be able to smell it... I am a Vanilla LOVER and Kay Ali hasn't come to Scentbird either. Am I really missing out by NOT having Kay Ali in my collection?
I wouldn't really call Sweet Hope a dupe (at least to my nose there are differences). Sweet Hope isn't nearly as rich or complex as the original, but it's still wonderful for that price! For a much closer scent to Hypnotic Poison that's also really affordable try Fiore del Dragone by Tesori d'Oriente. 😊 It's still not as thick as the original, but it's much closer than Sweet Hope. Both will give you Hypnotic Poison vibes, though! 😊

I had the Roberto Cavalli perfume and ended up decluttering recently. At first I thought it was really beautiful but never would reach for it. Then a month or so ago, I figured I should get rid of some perfumes. And I HATED it…I gave it two good tries. The first time I forced myself to wear it until it wore off and the second time I couldn’t stand to keep it on so I tried to wash it off and put something else over top. Idk if it changed through maceration or my nose has changed but it was pretty strange.

I just went to Zara store in Scottsdale AZ and got red temptation and it’s spot on BR540!! And rose gourmand for MAncera roses vanilla

Sadly, all of Zara's fragrances pull SUPER floral on me - no balance and headache inducing. Boo. But I did just get CK Women from fragrancenet today and I love it! Very office appropriate and totally agree with everything you said!

Zara Apple juice is a dupe to the GREEN Chanel Chance, I know because that's what it's compared to, also I have Chance Tandre and I had apple juice and I gave it away because it was too tart which the green chanel is.

I thought the same thing when I sniffed Zara Go Fruity, but after wearing them both, I feel like Go Fruity smells like apples. Same vibe as Burberry Her, but less sweet. A apple version instead of strawberry.

I think your attracted to scents that are like juicy couture noir. Lotus pear by the 7 virtues, white by Kenneth Cole smell like that. La via belle by Lancôme, deja vu by kayali, and Armani si smells the same to me

I have an IPSY subscription and when HUDA was the curator of the beauty box Kay Ali Vanilla 21 (I know here you are talking about Deja Vu giong head to head with Roberto Cavalli & Vanilla28 being a bad experience) as a possible product- I didn't receive it and I have yet to be able to smell it... I am a Vanilla LOVER and Kay Ali hasn't come to Scentbird either. Am I really missing out by NOT having Kay Ali in my collection?
Forbidden by Police smells almost identical to Hypnotic Poison. It's not as strong or long lasting but it's a real close dupe.
I've heard that Sweet Hope by La Rive is a great dupe for Hypnotic Poison but I haven't ordered it yet. It is very inexpensive though 😁
I wouldn't really call Sweet Hope a dupe (at least to my nose there are differences). Sweet Hope isn't nearly as rich or complex as the original, but it's still wonderful for that price! For a much closer scent to Hypnotic Poison that's also really affordable try Fiore del Dragone by Tesori d'Oriente. 😊 It's still not as thick as the original, but it's much closer than Sweet Hope. Both will give you Hypnotic Poison vibes, though! 😊

I had the Roberto Cavalli perfume and ended up decluttering recently. At first I thought it was really beautiful but never would reach for it. Then a month or so ago, I figured I should get rid of some perfumes. And I HATED it…I gave it two good tries. The first time I forced myself to wear it until it wore off and the second time I couldn’t stand to keep it on so I tried to wash it off and put something else over top. Idk if it changed through maceration or my nose has changed but it was pretty strange.
Can you say why you didn't like it? I hate deja vu white flower but was considering that one.

I have both de ja vu white flowers and Roberto Cavalli and on my skin they don't smell alike and white flowers on me isn't spicy at all.thats just in my humble opinion.
