I can't believe this reaction only has under 2,000 views! This joint is FIYAH !!! Najee is one of the best soprano sax players in smooth jazz music. In fact, he, George Howard and Kenny G helped to usher in Smooth Jazz in the 1980's, so he is a founding father. This is probably his most successful song commercially. Norman Brown also played guitar on this. Damn good choice !!! I love you taste in music.

      LOVED George Howard in college!
THANK YOU for mentioning his name!!! I could not remember the name...only that he had a cover where he was outside with his sax...maybe on a beach...lol
In college during "Quiet Storm" hours, the radio station would play almost 1 hour of smooth jazz with George Howard, Najee, George Benson, George Duke, Gerald Albright, Grover Washington, Herb Albert, Lee Ritenour, Boney James, Herbie Hancock, Kenny G, and Phyllis Hyman. I think there also was a saxophonist name Walter something that was played.

I was listening to this track earlier and thought about you reacting to it. Now, you're getting into the smooth groove of jazz. Najee is one of the best smooth jazz players. I love his music. There are so many smooth jazz players, Boney James, Paul Hardcastle, Hiroshima, Incognito, Pieces Of A Dream, etc, so many to name. The '90s was the year for smooth jazz.
