Ben has that rare quality where he can look at his scene partner and convey all the love, pain, and adoration that we want to see from a leading man. He just knows how to draw us in and I love it.
I’m glad Ben got to be Alexander; his eyes are expressive and like he said, you’re saying one thing, but your eyes and body language are saying something else.
Thanks so much for the interview! Sanditon reminds me of Shakespeare. The splendid dialogue, the intense characters, their dramatic relationships, the surprise turns of events - a feast for the viewer. Thank you, Rose, Ben and Eloise! I loved your characters. Your amazing performances and this interview makes it clear you loved them too. Best wishes for your future roles!
AMAZING interview! Thank you for sharing and letting these wonderful people riff off each other! It must be great when the flow just comes so naturally!
When Ben mentioned Pride and Prejudice, I recently went back and rewatched an Indian-inspired film called Bride and Prejudice. Many of you should watch it because it features a variety of music and a storytelling style that is similar to that of Jane Austen. It is one of my favourite adaptations of Pride and Prejudice, with the exception of the version starring Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth.
Very enjoyable interview. Seeing these actors in this setting really underscores what a terrific job of acting they pulled off. Not type cast for sure.
I liked this a lot. It would be nice to know more about how they feel as actors about certain scenes. Like the one between Augusta and Alexander when she begs him to go after Charlotte. How did he feel about her delivery? Having to mount/hold the horse while delivering lines? How does he feel about horseback riding? Scary? What about the kissing scenes. What kind of prep, or mindset to get ready for that? The Hollywood not kiss? How much practicing? Costumes, cumbersome? Itchy? Very hot? Augusta having to be nasty to Charlotte? Breaking role play by laughing....etc, etc, etc!

I ADORE this cast - and thanks to Benjamin who is HYSTERICAL, I will never be able to look at Alexander Colbourne in quite the same way - not without thinking about that saucy remark 👀 from Ben! 😳😳😳🤣
The 'Love Island' comment? I didn't find it insulting or bad...I mean that sounds like something that would definitely be talked about or happen on Love Island lol.

Excellent interview. Thank you. As for Mr. Lloyd-Hughes, we will never see Alexander Colbourne the same way.
They need to do every Jane Austen movie again with Ben in the lead role. 😊
Joee...agree! He's wonderful!
Totally agree he is brilliant as is rosie
I know!!! How can someone with such a baby face be so hot?
I just love these actors & this show. They are wonderful together.
Thankful to England and her actors/actresses for bringing all of Jane Austen's novels to life. I love these films. ❤🇺🇸
I have never loved a cast this much, I so appreciate them 💚 Thanks for a fun and interesting interview 🙏🏻
Ben is a great actor but also really funny and charming and quite adorable in real life.

This was a fabulous interview. We need more interviewers like her asking thought provoking questions with as much depth as hers had.
AMAZING interview! Thank you for sharing and letting these wonderful people riff off each other! It must be great when the flow just comes so naturally!
My daughter calls the Charlotte character a “Mary Sue”. We are both big fans. I love Ben, he’s adorable, especially the little smiles he gives.

Sure I heard or read that Ben said he was either not keen on horses or was not a particularly good rider!!! Which would make that scene extra hard.
Leanna ..I thought the same. Especially Ben. He's so different from his character. Very impressive acting I thought.
I enjoy this interview. Thank you! I hope to see more interviews of them all cast of Sanditon! :)
Delightful interview.
Now after season 3 has come out, I need to watch season 2 again.
Thanks for sharing!
Oh they’re just the best 🥰

I love these 3😂 !
Meg, I love those adaptations as well!
I ADORE this cast - and thanks to Benjamin who is HYSTERICAL, I will never be able to look at Alexander Colbourne in quite the same way - not without thinking about that saucy remark 👀 from Ben! 😳😳😳🤣
The remark by Ben wasn't saucy so much as it was stupid and insulting to women.
@@evelync177what remark?
The 'Love Island' comment? I didn't find it insulting or bad...I mean that sounds like something that would definitely be talked about or happen on Love Island lol.
@@evelync177get over yourself those remarks are made all the time if anything is insulting it's Love Island
@@IreneMorgan-c2h Guys like you and unintelligent remarks like yours give men a bad name. Clearly you did not enter planet earth through a woman.
Great to see this !
Excellent series!
I'm wanting to see Season 4.
After Sanditon, will there be another love story where Ben Lloyd-Hughes and Rose Williams will be paired as lovers again. I fell in love with them.
Rose, smile!
Dove posso trovare questa serieee vorrei poterla seguire
Oops Ben..saucy
Definitely
Rose Williams is a MASTERPIECE🤍
Gah I have such a crush on Ben!
Join the club!
I'm 86 and have a crush on Ben too!
Why is Ben LLoyd-Hughes wearing a wedding ring?
He is married to actress Emily Barrington.
Maybe he found it on the floor?

I don't know why they can't finish Season 3 and for Charlotte to find happiness at last.
His name is actually Benedict not Benjamin 😅
Ben look to the camera, not the side or out the window.
BEN 🤣
♥️
I see Ben and I can’t see anything but ‘divergent’.
