Not impressed. Howard is a great guard and was a top 10 player last year and Big East Player of the year. However, towards the end of the season and into the NCAA, teams tightened their defense on Howard by double and triple teaming him and by "roughing up the little guy." WOJO had no answer and MU was bounced in the first round. They should have made it to the final 8, at least. The Hauser brothers saw the hand writing on the wall and split to Final Four teams, Virginia and Michigan State. MU should have started this season as a top 10, instead one ranking put them at 45. WOJO needed to be fired. That was as poor a performance of a head coach as there could be. The Hauser brothers knew. Marquette Alum '74.
