    I love the outcome! I noticed as you feed in, you tuck one end of the hair under your left pinky. Is it possible if you can explain in detail how you do that technique? I noticed this way makes the feed in gradually look neater, smoother and more natural to me.

    • @SlayingitWithRay
      @SlayingitWithRay  3 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Thank you! Yes so I basically use the twist and tuck method. So what I do is put the real hair behind/under the braid hair. It gets easier the more you do it. You also want to make sure you’re using enough braid hair to cover the real hair. If there isn’t enough braid hair to cover the real hair, you won’t be able to get a good tuck. The goal of tucking is to cover and protect the real hair & also increase the longevity of the style. Styles that are tucked good last longer.

  • @celeneb6309
    @celeneb6309 3 ปีที่แล้ว +31

    Yes!! I just grab the hair straight from the bundle. With time, you just know how much to grab at a time. Plus every client’s hair is different, some clients may require more hair being added due to thickness/density, so preparing it ahead of time piece by piece just does not work for me.

      My favorite kind of braid hair to use is the prestretched xpressions or the prestretched RUWA the quality of these are unmatched in my opinion. Typically I choose not to take breaks (do what you feel is best for your body) I don’t waste too much hair doing this. I’ve gotten use to using this method.

    How are you taking the hair as you go without the hair shedding everywhere?...whenever I try to pull a piece of hair to feedin, the hair gets messy and it looks like you're taking the hair off real clean

    Would you mind explain the braiding hair added I mean it is the same size you added all along? Thank you!

      My advice is to start with thin pieces so the hair can lay flat at the top. Gradually increase sizing. I don’t advise you grabbing big chunks because it makes the braids bulky.
