Hi Gareth, just to put this into perspective. I can go to a local butchers shop and buy 1KG of freshly made, Cumberland or pork sausage for £7.50. No contest! Thanks for highlighting supermarket prices and as you say, support your local, family stores.
@@JAJL667 I can and do cook...... very very well. Why do you make the assumption people cannot?? You also completely ignored the 'perspective' that was the only point the guy you insulted mentioned FFS!
@@JAJL667I think you haven’t grasped the reason for these videos. He can cook, he is showing us convenience food. Not everyone wants to cook. Sometimes you don’t feel like cooking and it’s good to know what’s out there for convenience food. Don’t watch if you can’t understand what Gareth is doing. 🤗🤗
I love sausages but the packaging looked more appealing than the bangers. Sausage are always best in the oven . Thanks for the reviewing them Gareth and glad you enjoyed them! 👍
Hi Gareth, once it was on the plate it looked really nice, especially compared to before it was cooked. You could add some veg to it and it would make a filling meal. It was expensive but what isn't these days.
Congratulations on 113k subscribers Gareth x Great review looked good for a weekend treat if you compare it to McDonald’s garbage x no issue with price.
Gareth , don't know how much as husband buys them for me & never keeps the receipt but he gets Tescos Sausage & Mash & Onion Gravy & in the carton you get 2 Sausages / 3 mounds of mashed potato & the onion gravy . Gareth i find its lovely & tasty . Give it a try ( he microwaves & its great ) . Going to look on Amazon for the oven ( already have the plates & love them ). You sounded great no problem .
It didn't look too bad. I tend to buy a 6-pack of Cumberlands from Morrisons; eat three and freeze the others for another occasion. Well cooked in the oven. I might add some frozen battered onion rings or Yorkshire puds later on in the cooking. Maris Piper boiled, then mashed with some butter. I might add a little grain mustard. If not, there's always some balsamic onion chutney available! Added veg - some spring cabbage which benefits from a little mint sauce when dished up. Sometimes I will instead cut up some carrots into batons, mix them with a spot of oil and dried herbs, with two or three minutes zapped & stirred in the microwave. I don't miss the gravy, but if pre-planned I will have some beef stock in the freezer to call upon.
Sound is perfect with these mics, id continue using them, and like you did in this video, wear the mic lower down, on the video before (Punka Pie) yes it was a bit high in few times you could hear you eat, if your feeling tecnical, you can go into the mic settings and lower the volume on them, but as mentioned before wearing the lower will do the same. Yes thats where i go to get such like for my eighty two year old brother who is not able to shop. £4 they saw you coming was the cashier wearing a mask and striped jersey🤣 ps the Pukka Big Steak pie are £3 in Tesco just had one for tea with chips and mushy peas not bad for the money.

Great review Gaz but i still can’t believe how much they change plus you buy with your eyes and it didn’t look very appealing, but when cooked it looks better I would hate to add up the cost of the ingredients, but that’s the way it’s going 👍👍
One of my favourite meals to have. That did actually look really nice. Sausages looked better after they were cooked. And yes it did look like Peter rabbit the way they'd packaged it 😄. Nice one mate.
Evening Gareth, old-fashioned bangers and mash. Taken up market with a nice onion gravy. Yes bloomin' expensive, but what isn't these days. Could all make it cheaper cooking at home. But as a convenient snack meal. Brilliant. The thought of a sweaty sausage will haunt me for many years to come 😂😂😂Another interesting, informative video. And worth a look at. Take care mate and see you in the next video Allan&Family
It looks decent and if it tastes good, then it’s great value for the convenience alone. I bet the people moaning about the price happily pay a fiver for a pint 🤔
I love sausage ,mash and onion gravy but honestly I'd rather make my own. We have it quite alot for our dinner and its cheaper than that ready meal. These meals are handy if you really can't be arsed cooking but my hubby would need at least two those meals!😅❤

It does seem expensive Gareth but then again what isn’t these days 🤷🏻♂️… coffee shops charge nearly £4 just for one cup of coffee so I suppose it isn’t that bad… as long as the quality is good then fine 👍🏻
4 quid... if they served a few beers with it a might be tempted....for me always better done in the oven sausages and mash, i like a bit of a Brown Top on my mash, specially with Cottage/Fish pies.Gravy sounds lush, we'll see :).
Ideal meal for air fryer cooking with some peas or carrots and a fresh bread roll. Not sure Pinot Noir would be my choice, more of a Butty Bach style grub for me.
