What glue do you use Margaret ? i have been for years using glue gun and so many times burn my fingers. I need a glue that will stick on paper and also another one for material . I know you use not the most expensive glue but then you might. I do have Michaels art store, Walmart . I do not machine sew so the ones I did on my lace, material albums. With glue gun or folded on pages then glued. I have made albums over the years for family and close friends. They say they are still together never fell apart. Grandma here.
I don't use glue guns unless I am attaching something like a thick ribbon. For attaching fabric to paper I like Aileens tacky glue from Michaels. If I'm just working with paper, then most of the time I use any gluestick, just make sure to have good application. Lastly, I use double sided tape when I'm attaching photos or postcards to other papers.
I love seeing how you make your gluebook pages so thank you for the tutorial. Would you be able to show us the index cards on the ring? I was wondering if they're all script and numbers.
Nice. Washi tape ribbon, good idea. Question: how long do you spend looking for your “bits”? I was hoping that glue book sessions would be quick, mine seem to take quite a while,

My time spent selecting pieces varies on my mood :-) Sometimes it flows and I can find great pieces right away. Other times, nothing looks good....
I’m really intrigued with your style and love your finished product. What kind of adhesive do you use?
Thanks, Sandra. I use UHU glue sticks and double sided tape for the heavier stuff.
Thank you for this.
Love your process, TFS. :-)
Did you purchase the smaller ring bound book or did you make it? I’m really enjoying your videos!
Thanks, Samantha. Yes, I made the ring bound book. I used a Zutter-Bind-it-all. I like picking my papers and putting it together in a little book.
Margarete thanks for the reply! I really want to get one.
Very helpful...thank you! Nancy =^.^=
