Put your toes in room temperature water to warm them. Crazy me sitting here watching you trying to help you lol. Your survival skills are amazing! CAJUN SPARKLE

Well I agree; she had no cache of food and was already frostbitten before real cold set in. You can't be out in it for more than a few minutes at a time. But I live her and she's my fave. She just packed the cold-weather experience. One thing I would do is keep a set of socks just for sleeping so my spare pare could dry by fire every night; same thing w/rest of clothes. None are mentioning this practice. You have to force yourself to do a complete clothing change in the cold air, but that is how you stay in totally dry clothing, free of body moisture. Callie looked like she was sleeping w/boots on. You have to let them dry out at night.
