I can see the anger and hatred King had towards Marduk for murdering his mentor Armor King and was about to kill him in revenge. He then realised that killing Marduk won't bring Armour King back and he has a family as well, hence why King spared his life. King didn't want to be a murderer and have Marduk's blood on his handsm
So, King arranged Craig Marduk to be released so he can get revenge for what that Australian brute did to his mentor Armor King 1 until he realized that revenge is not the answer. Here's the physical biography of King 2: Country: Mexico Height: 6'7" ((200 cm)) Weight: 123 kg ((270 lbs))
King might have the best storyline out of all the characters. Think about it. He was an orphan and admired King I as a child because of the latter's efforts to keep the orphanage alive. When the original King died, he took his name and mask and swore revenge on the beast that killed him, Ogre. After that, his mentor dies as well and he goes after the guy that murdered him. They ended up becoming friends and then a second Armor King appears, prompting King and Marduk to discover his identity. Damn....
From what I recall, Armor King was already dieing from an illness ( as explained in King's Tekken 3 ending ) & then once Tekken 4 came out, the Writers made Marduk to be the Murderer despite being drunk in a bar fight again AK. ( This could also explain the hair loss for Marduk as he got incarcerated ).
That was so sweet of King donating money to the children Mishima Zaibatsu are feeling so mad by King and King has unfinished business the man who killed Armor King his mentor!

I was emotionally involved in King's campaign. Armor King was my first favorite from Tekken 2. When I heard he was killed, I wanted to fight the person who did it. This game help me in my pre-teen years. King became my favorite after this game.

Back in tekken tag the first tag there was a booklet in the case where it tells you where they from and what fighting styles they had . i been knowing this when i was a kid as a Mexican American kid i was so happy to see that till today on tekken 7 i play king 🐯
