Total injustice! We spectators clearly saw that Stamp was dominated by Juniku throughout the match.

I actually went round by round and kept track of the scores for each one. No way I could see Stamp winning, man. Like, no way at all!
Juniku ate too many shots on the way in, and stamp landed cleaner. Juniku was more aggressive, but at times it hurt her because she didn't utilize her reach. She also had her back closer to the ropes more often than Stamp which is part of the scoring criteria in MT. The dumps were really nice though. The decision could have went either way really, but I would have given it to Stamp based on damage, and percentage of power shots landed. She also missed a lot less. Plus she's the defending champ. Too close to give it to the challenger.
I appreciate the diverse opinions and interpretations of the fight. It would certainly be intriguing if the judges' scorecards were made public after the fight, allowing us to gain further insights into their decisions. The transparency could add another layer of analysis and discussion to the sport.

@jamesJohnson , much less blow in the wind at stamp. and much more precise boxing. juniku was just aggressive, it does not make the precision and the number of blows in the right place ,Stamp dominated the first three rounds without problem. count the hits that hit.

I think the judges made a bigger pay check GIVING that fight to stamp.

You are blind sir, the problem with Juniku she was throwing one punch combo and that let Stamp counter with 2 - 3 punch combo.

That was very close indeed, but I had Juniko ahead on points.

Juniku not only pressed the action, but she literally moved in one direction the entire fight: Forward! Even when she took damage, she immediately fired back and closed the distance relentlessly staying in the pocket and on the offensive until Stamp was visibly gassed. Then she kept that pace until the final bell.
Muay Thai is judged using a 10 Point Must scoring system, right? If so, Alma Juniku absolutely won that fight. Definitively.
Pressing the action doesn't mean you are the winner or scoring the points, stamp landed shots that mattered just because you looked dominate doesn't mean you were..

@@powehi1710I'm confused. Are you actually trying to imply that Stamp won that fight? I love Stamp, and will always be a huge fan of hers, but I love the sport, and I believe that rulings should empirically reflect the outcome of the fights. That did not happen after this particular event. There's no "sore losers", it is just that the truth was not represented. I think it's not something to discredit ONE FC over, just the judges. I have a lot of faith in ONE as an organization that takes care of its fighters.
Decisions like that damage the integrity of One FC, I for one will find it hard to take decisions seriously from now on.
ALMA won that without a doubt. Her work rate, command of the ring and strike count were all superior to Stamps.

Did you see Jinikus face after the fight? Stamp actually had way better hit accuracy, Jinikus shots were being blocked and evaded.
Every time they post it, I watch it just to make sure I was right about Juniku winning the fight. Stamp has been gifted all of her big wins in this biased organization.

i'm a Huge fan of Stamp, and although i'm Aussie i think i'm very impartial in thinking Stamp was on the defense throughout the majority of that match with Juniku stalking her down and i don't see how Stamp won this one.

Stamp won. Stamp would connect her shots everytime they exchanged inspite of juniku being the aggressive one throughout the match. Juniku would miss but stamp would connect every time. Even when she was gassed out she would still connect

Stamp is usually much more active with her kicks. I think she might of hurt herself earlier in the fight.

Why do judges always do that? Why do they give the benefit of the doubt to the known quantity? Stamp is awesome. Juniku broke even that fight if for no other reason than just always beating stamp to the punch. I thought these bouts were scored with points not memories? Now many of those punches were matched with each other but Stamp didn't land anywhere as many of them. If this were a boxing match Juniku would have won. If this were anyone else but Stamp, Juniku would have won. Meh what do I know. I wasn't there. But I do love watching Stamp fight. My god she is amazing. Juniku controlled this fight generally. end of line.

To be honest first part of this fight Alma impressed me alot. She made stamp look like a eager novice. Unlike a novice stamp calmed down and did good. Good enough to win this fight? I think it could've ended in a draw but hard to tell. Alma impressed me.
