This would be useful if the actual formula was stored in the calculator, but if you have to store/assign values THEN type out the formula, you might have well just entered in the formula with the actual numbers. I know the FX 115-es has a solver
A cool trick but honestly a waste of time because you still have to type out the quadratic equation. It's far simpler to just type the equation once with the correct values for A, B and C in brackets. Then after you get your answer for '+' go back and edit the equation to ' - '. You still type the equation but save time storing the values for each constant.
for Cassio fx-300ES PLUS, enter the following into the fraction function: (-b)+(√(b^2)-(4*a*c))/(2*a) on top part of fraction enter: (-b)+(√(b^2)-(4*a*c)) on bottom enter: (2*a) the repeat for (-)
Im not sure if i understand why this is even useful xD. please help me, like to even do this method you need to type in the quadratic formula anyways but in the terms of A,B, and C; Why not just type in the quadratic formula with your numbers and skip the entire 1-STO-A 5-STO-B -2-STO-B process. Seems like an extra pointless step to me.
If you use Casio fx-991Es PLUS use this technique Mode>5>3 and then type you're a = then b= and then c== you get X1=.. press = again you will get X2=...
Was the equation really solved? I dont think your answers are correct - do them out on paper and see if your calculator answers concur with your paper results.
well thanks for the video, it was cool to know, but it was also a waste of time since you could've just entered the numbers in yourself rather than storing the ABC values in the first place.
Sorry that I am four years late, but he made a mistake. He didn't square the 'B' in the 'B - 4AC,' which led to the wrong answer. It should have been 𝑥 ≈ 0.372 or using a subtraction sign 𝑥 ≈ −5.372

yea, my chem professor doesn't give us the quadratic formula on the tests. just another thing i have to memorize i guess
@@Bitholeoussame and i always get those questions wrong because i dont know how to enter it into the calculator
Lies again? FENIX USD SGD
Good but the Quadratic Equation is B^2 in the Square Root,
so you need to Square that in the B^2-4AC,
I think you have put B-4AC
SAME hahaha but its okay..at least we manage to notice it..Thanks @calculatorexpert
i’m glad someone else also noticed this
Phew I thought I did smthn wrong
I was really concerned when my calculator shower (-5 ± sqrt(33) / 2 😅

thats what i do
But it could help avoid making unintentional mistakes, everyone has their own ways.
Him: what did you give my daughter?
Me: 2:04
Lol
Lmao

thank you so much for this!! You're literally gonna save my life today!
well that was stupid. you still solved the equation yourself you just added extra steps of defining A B C to the calculator...
Imagine you are dealing with the numbers over 10 figures for each variable
Thanks my g, got a maths exam today and this definately gonna help
Did you get a good score? :)
i have one tmr
I actually never noticed that this was possible. Thank you!
Also, you forgot to square the B under the root

@@aleree201296Because you have to do it in a specific way, and if you dont do it in the specific way it shows up as a math error. This way is easier.
How to solve quadratic and cubic equation from this particular calculator 82ES??
Thanks..
Thank you so much man. You changed my life by teaching this❤️
i get 4 and -9 i think you forget the square in B
What is the easier method to find quadratic equations on FX-991ES plus?
I find it With the Fx 85GT x version we dont need to press shift before saving the values. Thats why it didn’t work.
If you use Casio fx-991Es PLUS use this technique
Mode>5>3 and then type you're a = then b= and then c== you get X1=.. press = again you will get X2=...
Thank u Soo much man u are a life saver
you might of just saved my year 10 maths mock thanks bro ill let you know if it helped or not
Do u not do b²
bro how to type the = sign? when there is no calc button
You Saved Me
B^2 under the radical
How to solve shift solve variable problem on fx-82 ES like 98=2X+5/1.5X-12
Thank you so much sir
CAN U SOLVE CUBIC EQUATION ON SAME CALCULATOR?
Wow 😲 I didn't think of it that way but still no difference if you put numbers directly
Or u can jus put the numbers straight into the formula 😂😂😂
Why do you not square the B
Yes I was wondering that too
Thank you so much!
This is so helpful. Thanks!
¿Esa calculadora se puede usar para la selectividad (evau) de Madrid?
Very useful video Thank you!

he forgot to square the B in the square root
mine says error lol
Same
You should go to mode and eqn
not all calculators have it

Thanks man😅
shout out to that Indian guy ...
Thank you so muchhh!!!
Life saver!!!
Thank you.
thank you sm
You forgot to square b
you forgot to add the b squre root
Takes alot of time, but cool trick to know
You forgot square root for B
Thank you
forget the B square ?
It was B2 in formula why you also put B¿🤨
Thanks
If you cpuld tupe slower so I actually ind the buttons. Thanks
Should be 0.3722813233 I think
Thanks but yougforgot the exposant 2
Good
You didn't square the b in the discriminant 😢
wtf why don't u just scroll back through formula and change + to a - ? literally takes 2 secounds
5×101×1301×69=turn it upside down 🤣
damnn lmaooooooo
sheeesh
Its b² lol
b squared
Please delete this video and upload the a new one with the correct formula.
