I've seen that cheaters seem to be getting worse. I've been getting killed by cheaters quite regularly like 1 in every 7 lobbies or so.
player counts have been going up seems like alot of this new base are either cheaters or streamer try hards.

I'm thankful that it's not as bad as MW2. I really hope EA/Respawn don't let it get out of hand - I think it may be because the game got a resurgence of players and have reached new heights which is why there are a lot more hackers.

Team DeathMatch is worse. Always seems to be a player metling people and knowing when your about to peak around a corner

I think its great that you highlight these cheaters. Soo funny when you see them play with zero clue what to do. Playing on console, there don't seem to be many cheaters out there, though I often do question how people know where I am at times. Great video

The cheating in ranked is beyond ridiculous, if you get banned it’s only for six days and you get to keep all your points and all the badges etc. and because people have realised this they do it care.

it's getting really bad. I run into at least one cheater every 10 matches or so. And that's ones that kill me and not trying to hide it in the slightest. Who knows how many I've been with in lobbies but got lucky to not run into them or they hiding it nicely. Hopefully new anticheats come soon or it will get even worse
sometimes windows 11 antivirus blocks easyanticheat when i start apex. quiet ironic.
(the game doesnt start in those cases)

I’ve played apex religiously since season 0 and they’ve done nothing to stop cheating. It’s gotten so bad that I switched to mw2 in season 15… played my first season 16 today game and died to aimbot within my second game.
EAC might be the worst anti cheat ive ever experienced
Back in the day we would watch the players and they would always pause when they were being spectated to turn off the hacks.

Oh and yes, as soon as they know you're spectating them, they get scared and go afk or stop chasing enemies. They're hoping you get bored and will disc so they can turn their cheats back on.

The cheaters are in tdm as well and it's some how easier to pick up on as well and it might have to deal with the fact that you can't spectate their view after they kill you but I can just feel the obvious walls at times and know I'm bout to be beamed if I turn from a spot or I know I'm bout to be full sent by 2 or more people who just know where I'm at all times
They're rampant in tdm. Been on this game for years, after a bit you get a sense of who may not be legit. It's like every 3 games or something there's cheaters.

I’ve been running into lots of this, low level gods beaming through smokes without digits and losers toggling aimbot when in a pinch. I feel like the amount of cheaters in Apex directly correlates to the failure of WZ2
It's common, also super evident in the tdm, gun run, control game modes. I'm more tired of "THERE'S BARELY ANY HACKING IN APEX" people though, it's been a problem for ages.

I've noticed quite a bit of toggles esp and instances of both usually they hang out in pubs or lower ranks in ranked play. Absolutely ruins the game and the smurfs also don't help. Battle eye has also been known to be one of the worst anti cheat systems to date

Honestly it's crazy. Played the other night, got git through smoke, and beamed mid air, full power valk flight. Next game, beamed from a guy jumping off the jump pad, from 200meters away using a no attachment r301.
i have not play4ed in like a year but started back up on playing the mixtape i feel so many people have aim bot on getting sniped as soon as i spawn sad i dont recall it ever being this bad

It's like people either have zero recoil and can't miss me at all or they just never stop moving and never miss
About a week ago, me and a homie were playing ranked half way through Plat. We were doin great. Then like 3rd or 4th match in we ran into a 6 stack. 2 separate teams working together, using Loba's black market together, killing each other, then letting each other get the respawn. Just damage, and kill farming like crazy. It was such BS.
I tried reinsatlling recently and all I can say is it has actually gotten worse. Players with no fight IQ yet have amazing aim.

It's become much worse the past few months even on console. Aim bots, strike packs, wall hacks have ruined this game. And if that isn't bad enough, most pub Trios games are plagued with quitters as soon as they get knocked. Respawn refuses to do anything about it.

I just saw a video of a guy finding many hackers in Tarkov with the wiggle move they could see through walls and that got me wondering how many might be in apex with the same type of hacks. I did a search of the hacks to see if they're out there and saw the same name hacks for apex as what was shown in the Tarkov video here. Then playing in the gun game mode in apex in this current season seems to show how many players out there might be hacking. So many suspects anyway.
I really hope that guy sees this video, trying to see how mad he made you, and ends up just feeling bad about how much you clowned him and didn't care 😂

I switched back to console from pc in so many games. And there are still some cheaters on console, but not where NEAR as many. I don’t miss this at all lol

I was on ps4, spectating people who killed me and they were acting really weird, not playing, standing still in the game etc.. it's out of hand now. Going to ruin the game for good.
We've had a Horizon and a Bloodhound drop with guns. Both times it was the rampage

Every game I play have cheaters 100% of the time. It's unplayable at this point.
Jankz made the best point too. Not all aimbot is all headies. Soft aimbot is RAMPANT on all platforms rn. Worst are things like CronusZen and Strikepack because anitcheat can't see it since it's hardware. Not true aimbot, but it's called "sticky aim", which is 100% AA. I've seen it used before, can't tell the difference.
I don’t understand how hardware can give you better aim assist? How does hardware change software? I always thought it was just no recoil?
@iTemp Plays so that's the trick. The hardware is programmable. So it IS software but not installed on the PC/console. That's why anticheat doesn't pick up on it. So you plug the hardware in by itself first, program it with scripts and such, then attach to the controller. Apparently, Fortnite has figured out a way to detect it and is starting to ban people using it.

I stopped playing Apex I think back in 2019 and the reason was solely due to the amount of cheating going on in the game.
I would play competitively and work my way to up Plat and quit and that was good enough for me. The goal was just to get gud and have fun.
I will not get back into playing Apex again until the hacking is severely reduced, right now there are too many hackers. Players need to vote with their time.

I just died to an aimbot loba that could insta shield swap while running by a death box. I play on console. The cheating has felt really apparent since the beginning of this year. I don’t know what has changed, but I never felt like it was a big issue on console until now.
I uninstalled the game. No fun to play against cheaters and sweats every match. Nice videos though.
even just one month after this video was uploaded i can with complete certainty say that the cheater’s are getting worse it’s not even just apex anymore i think every pvp game has some form of cheater’s or exploiter’s and from the research i have done and information i gathered from other’s there are companies that are straight up making equipment or mods you can install on any computer tower that pretty much gives you aimbot or buffs the aim assist in game’s to crazy levels in short it is the worst possible time to be playing pvp games of almost any kind and that i think we should just start a massive movement to abandon all pvp based games in droves and hopefully they die off just let the cheaters and exploiters fight each other and we can all just go and play some actual good games

Not accusing people of cheating often means only one of two things: you run into them far less frequently than average, or you just don’t take not of them. Because they’re there. In most lobbies. They also usually suck.
Either way, not accusing people of it is not a badge of honor. Stop pretending like those of us that notice it are crazy. Data backs us, not the oblivious.
