I really enjoyed watching this vlog. I’m from MO now living in Gulf Coast Mississippi and would like to visit this place when I come to visit my family. Have never been that way before.
How cool! We’re going to Gulfport/Biloxi next summer for a big family vacation for my dad’s 70th birthday! 💕 Eminence is beautiful!!
i was born in poplar bluff 1958. when i was very young, i spent about 10 vac in alley springs. it was so much different then with roller skating, out side trampolines, mini golf and this was in the late 60's. we would stay in a cabin below a small general store at that time. same place every time. such wonderful beautiful memories down in gods country.
My uncle and also my husband’s uncle (not the same person or related lol 😆) were both born just a few miles from Alley Spring and they always loved the area as well! I have a friend from Poplar Bluff, I wonder if you know them?! Cindy Yeley is her maiden name.

@@ShowMeAnAdventure i do not, i have not lived in poplar bluff since 1978, left for xray school and ended up getting married and never returned. parents are gone now, very few kin left down there now

That was back when Harvey Staples owned the land around the spring, When the Park Service bought it they took all of that stuff out.
So much fun. I’d love to do something like this and just go out and explore the trail.

Welcome to Etown... I live here.. nice to see videos of peoples vaca's here, The next time you come here, try going to Shawnee Creek , east of town out on 106, and down V highway, they are in the fields there a lot too.. there are several different bands of wild horses here .

I honestly haven’t watched it and Idk why!! Did you watch it? But yes! The Ozarks are in both southern Missouri + northern Arkansas!
The NetFlix series is only Ozark by name, it was filmed in Atlanta I think , nothing about the series has anything to do with the Ozarks lol .. if you have ever been to Lake of the Ozarks its not really like the series at all
