Replacing a bad patch job on a body panel on my 1970 VW Beetle. #bajabug #builtnotbought #diy #vw #baja #selftaught #vochobaja #vwlife #bodywork #welding #paint #blend
Nice work! I remember doing the exact same thing to mine! That stupid foam they filled in the pillars with is just trap moisture. My drivers side was OK but the passenger side was same as yours. I spent over an hour digging all of the foam out of mine. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the sub! Rounded corners are a good idea. I will do that next time! I went slow and used compressed air here and there to try and keep it cool.
Looks awesome Miah! Great job!
Thanks Dom.
Nice work man!!
Thanks so much. I ran a thin skim of filler this morning and it’s perfect now
Bad ass work!!! Looks good
Thanks William! I’m making a video how to build a RZR jack soon. Make sure to check it out!
Tight work brother! That’s great for never doing that before! Looking good!
Thank you! I’ve got a few other locations to take care of as well. But that was the biggest one.
Nice man, for your first time it looks really good. Digging the content!
Thanks Daniel. I’m having a great time with the process and learning. As long as the car is better and I am better, it’s a win.

Thanks! I had my sons digging it out and chipping black stuff off all the interior. Best $20 I ever spent 😂
New sub here. Rounded corners on the patch panels can help control the heat distortion a little better. Nice front A arms.
