This is genius. Halt is easy, but with this playing it really makes you stressed. This music really makes you feel like something bad is about to about to happen and makes you very anxious.
the other few osts in this game are fantastic, but this one is so anxiety-inducing and the best imo. the heartbeat sounds and the slow crescendo into loud chaos.. its definitely overlooked and cuz of the static that halt emits hindering the quality, but damn its really good at manipulating your emotions
0:12 and you start hearing glitchy and windy sounds. 0:24 and it gets stronger. 0:36 and it starts to get noticibly faster. 0:40 and crunchy biting sounds are present. nothing else until 1:09: strange dragging noises are notably heard. it starts to get very fast from here. 1:30 and you hear wind that sounds like its from an open airplane window. (trust me, its louder than you remember it), and past that is everything combined.
One time I got Jack when I entered Halt’s hallway. Anyways, my brother showed me this because he loves it. I do too, I love how it gets quicker and more creepier as it goes on. Sounds really nice
The first time i really got to hear this is when halt buged out and got put in the wrong room instead of his hallway (i side stepped him and he just went back and forth), but even when i KNEW i was safe from halt, the music alone made me think is was still in danger. I'm thinking "if this theme reaches its climax, am I just going to die?". It got to the point where i almost ran out of safety, likely running into halt on my way out in panic. TLDR: theme is very effective at causing panic, good stuff 👍
