this legit made me fucking CRY dude!! Like straight up hand over my mouth CRY!!! The fucking. Song???? Their expressions, the little flashes of each other, the transition of "Eds!!" "It's Eddie."
The whole atmosphere of the song, going through the motions, something always missing but they don't know what it is so they just keep going because what else is there, y'know? The sad, dulled out blue, images of smiles and eyes and laughter. They are barely holding it together, but they do because it's all they know. Watching them grow up a little, their love blooming but never really getting realized.
Fuck the lyrics "They're selling me for parts." Because they're both so fucking empty in their jobs, cogs in a lifeless machine, losing themselves every day, whatever bits of them they had left.
That part where Eddie is washing his face and sees Richies eyes and cries, man that part made me cry, you can feel the pain and desperation there, fuck it's so good. And then all of the Losers together, another love he's lost, man I can't take it. And the ending, Eddie leaving, Richie banging his head, okay man i get it you just want to rip my heart out

Ok. Wo w . This is so good and I’m breaking down! The idea of them seeing and missing each other but forgetting who they were... ouch. Richie seeing Eddie as he’s being escorted somewhere hurts SO MUCH because if he wasn’t chained to his career he could chase him but he’s pulled away :(((( and Eddie’s parts got me the most beautiful especially because of that transition fade from his coffee cup to him laying flowers on his mom’s grave and taking pills and then marrying Myra... HELLO??? IM IN PAIN???? and the side by side bed panel came for my THROAT. Them both waking up at the same time but halfway across the country.... at different times.... g o d.... and the flashback scenes are so GOOD and so nostalgic UGH what hits the hardest is Richie dreamed up the memory of him crying at the kissing bridge and hitting his head and that’s when he wakes up... I really love this animatic and it went straight into my crying playlist as soon as I finished watching it the first time.
