- Not much to say. I played fast and loose with a lot of stuff here, wound up having to take an opportune continue, but otherwise got all the orbs and (mostly) all the quick-kills on the bosses! Take that, Totodile!

i don't understand, if its an auto scroller, how come you got a faster time than other runners? dumb question i know
The screen has a normal movement speed, which slows down when enemies appear; the more enemies, the more the screen slows down, until it'll come to an absolute *stop* if you're not killing anything. So....knowing where enemies spawn, and dispatching them as quickly as possible, is how you make the game "run faster".
Do you still play piano?
Piano? Is that the thing my cats sit on, while waiting for me to feed them? (And occasionally wake me up in the middle of the night because they hit the power button, then stepped on many keys that ARE VERY LOUD OKAY I'M UP NOW WHAT DO YOU WANT, STOP LICK THE SIDE OF THE AUTO-FEEDER, THAT WON'T MAKE IT PRODUCE MORE FOOD, AND YES I SEE THE BITE MARKS, YOU CAN'T GET THIS THING OPEN LIKE THAT, PLEASE STOP BECAUSE I DON'T FEEL INCLINED TO FEED YOU AT 2AM WHEN THERE'S A SOFT-BREEZE OUTSIDE AND IT'S REALLY MAKING MY SLEEPY------)

....occasionally? By "proxy", yes. Performatively, no. It doesn't bring the same "spark" that it did before, so really it's down to "Can I still do this?" And if I succeed at simplistic songs, then I call the day a "rousing success" and go to work and drain 11 hours of my day (and, I'm reasonably certain, 3 months of my LIFE) doing menial tasks and enduring the doldrums, until I can go home and eat a burrito and route out another game that made me livid as a child. This video is such an instance, a performative "F-U" to the past, done in the present, and hopefully *not* revisited heavily in the future.
Sometimes, I route out the music instead. That *might* happen in the future. Depends on if my cats will ever get off of the piano. Or stop knocking the camera off of my desk, so you can no longer hear me and am left with gameplay of shoddy speedruns, coupled with "NO, GET OFF OF THE DESK" called out from afar....

hey drum quick question how do you usability play dragon ball z saiya densetsu?
On the SNES! I modded my regular ol' Super Nintendo so it can play Super Famicom carts. I also have a Flash Drive, which has a translated version of the game on there, so I can show it off in English!
