Thanks bud , for sharing this. I like the idea of a roll pouch , but I think horizontally would take up to much room on my saddle. I made one of your set ups seems like it’s going to work great. Call me crazy but I believe a dump pouch hanging off the back of ur saddle gets unwanted attention from deer. Even if u stop moving on stand seems like the dump pouch is still swing around a bit. Ur setup u can add a leg strap so it don’t move. Awesome job sir !!!!!!

Im really diggin this idea! I appreciate the videos on how to make from scratch. But im just curious to the people that are not so skilled, would there be a way to possibly order one from you?

I would have liked to have seen how you put your rope and rapel devices in the bag. I am wondering if it is a roll pouch or a pocket pouch (and I have no idea which is best).

Hey Cary. Its a pocket pouch as it does not "roll open" like the typical roll pouch. There are a few reviews and highlights out there (Saddle Hunter and Platnium Pursuit) that show how its loaded. I just wad up my rope and stick it in the top. Regarding which is better, its just personal preference. We came up with the idea because we prefered to use the saddle space that a roll pouch ( mounts horizontally) uses for other gear. The trade off is that our DOB hangs lower.
