Yeah the 79'-92' indent is simple and the beat is very nice (unlike what they've done to it these days), it just works👌. I really like Vremya's indents too, the chill music in the 70s ones with the nice camera footage. Is the nice tune that's used since 87' loved, or is it a reminder of the troubling 90s? Edit: I hope you watched RTS' making-of documentary about the 79' indent, it's a very interesting video if you can understand Serbian. th-cam.com/video/jgczuZ8ujTI/w-d-xo.html
Yeah, I find it amazing to see how iconic the "dotted planisphere turning into a globe" became. I get the feeling that, when the RTS gives a new intro to their news bulletins, they should keep a connection with the 1979/1998/2010 intros.
It is Serbian, but is written using the Cyrillic alphabet in these later clips, though Serbian can be written using the Latin alphabet too, it was probably more common during the Yugoslavian era to see it.
i think there is a problem with the serbian news intros the jrt beograd first logo seems far ahead from it's time (not to mention the efforted fanfare); the rtb tv dnevnik should have done way further than the third logo; and have different music the 1992 one seems very very long and even for it's time, since long news intros should have of ended in the seventies but most importantly the rts dnevnik logo with the dots and the spinning globe should stop leaving and then returning all of the same time i mean, it was a thing in the 80's then in the nineties and then return back to it from today
Why the 1992's intro looks better than the 2010's intro ? Because the 1992's uses some cinematic projections and made by professionals (fall of communism) . And the 2010's intro is redesigned intro of the 1978's one (communism) . Why they didn't redesigning the 1992's intro ? Because Serbs remember the 1978's intro and it still used until 1992 (over 14 years) and the 1992's intro is used until 1998 (over 6 years) .

There is also a variation of the 1992 intro which is much shortened, has high pitched music and was used in 1996.

The 1992 one is good too, considering the time it aired it was very modern.
0:53 that November 1978 intro toned in color is beautiful!

why did it switch from Latin to Cyrillic?
In the past when it was Yugoslavia, there lived Croats, Slovenians and some other people who use latin alphabet. Later, when "RTS Dnevnik" didn't cover those nations, it turned to Serbian Cyrillic.
And those last two, too
1978-1992 is also for Latin.
