I agree. It’s very versatile. It does very good against assassin and ix10 if people try running aggressive decks. You can use it to transition into a deck that has a bunch of one thing which could be fun. Recently I was experimenting with using a full YinYang board and switching to all Sealing LOL
It is still used, it just doesnt go as far now with the mob speed increase. In this deck, devilsword is just used for 2 waves to boardbuild so its not affected by the recent balance change
This is one way to explain it: Sealing dice on your board as a support will silence corresponding spot on dps board. A 3 pip seal will silence it 3 times and dps will have to drag 3 pips of their own dice towards it in order to unseal it. This is so dps can get rid of unwanted dice pretty easily and setup faster. Early on you want to seal some dice. Once dps has a soul moon duo in right place, you can assassin them a bit so dps can keep going. Then keep sealing other dice so they can setup, just be careful not to seal their soul moon duo (or if you do, make sure it’s a low pip seal so they can unseal it fast). Once they’re set up, you just assassin everything to 105, but getting rid of your seal might be tricky cause if you don’t do it fast enough, it will silence dps again. This is why people use devil sword with seal, so you can eat seal pips with ds and make it disappear. One common support deck with sealing is Sealing, Assassin (trait), summoner (trait), devilsword, echo
