Has anyone been able to find this product in the big box stores? Seems like Home Depot offers a variant called 'SimpleGrout' from the same manufacturer ("Custom Building Products") for about half the price of Prism SCG Grout. Makes me wonder if it's the same product as Prism SCG Grout, with a different label?
@jasonbengel Simple Grout has been around awhile, it's premixed, but doesn't offer the benefits of Prism SCG. For now, you'd have to go to a tile supply to buy Prism SCG 👍
Not sure about that, but you can visit Custom Building Products website for more info. There's a link in the description of this video. Usually the harm is in breathing airborne dust, since this is premixed, there's no dust👍. I use gloves while Grouting, so no danger in coming in contact with skin👌
Nope , cement grouts are way superior to that crap, plus on walls that stuff is impossible to get a full grout joint, fusion would never get as hard as there cement grout, that's what they said about fusion grout ,they need to send out samples to us tile guys, cause they did with fusion and I done 3 showers with the fusion grout and it all washed out in less than a year,, cement prism is way better than one component premixed grout
Yes, Fusion Pro scarred us all!🤣🤣. This stuff seems different, better....I think they intentionally made sure it didn't have the same problems that Fusion Pro had. I also want to see it on vertical work,.. I'll be trying it out and posting another video soon👍
@@MAGAMANproblem is you used unsanded for the floor. Usually unsanded is for tight grout joints and for soft material like Marble. For floors if Marble was used we mixed a small handful of sanded with the non sanded. Now prism sanded and mapei ultra color are my favorite

I won't believe that until I actually try some if I ever do ,and see especially on vertical
Stay tuned, vertical video coming soon, it's impressive
Can you use this for glass subway tile
Absolutely, just don't get to rough with it...as with any Grout with glass tile👍
I wonder if long term you will get cancer with this product, how is the toxicity?

@@HowToTileLikeaPro interesting point about it being premixed and no dust 🧐
You are more likely to get cancer from the foods you eat and the "medications" your doctor are injecting into you.

@@HowToTileLikeaPro I hope so because it would be nice to use if it is reliable enough in wet areas and not have any complaints or callbacks
@@HowToTileLikeaPro I used Prism unsanded on my kitchen floor and the whole thing is going to need to be redone.
@@MAGAMAN Ouch! What do you think was the problem?
