- Hello friends! Today, I'll take you to one of my favorite places. It's a beautiful sunny chilly day. Let's take a drive and a short walk to the best view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco skyline! The location is at Battery Spencer along the Marin coastline. I hope you enjoy! Thanks, someday I will visit golden gate bridge again. I couldn't see the sight from the top of the cliff due I didn't have time. It's my dream to be there again! This video helped me reminding it.
If you have the chance to make it back, check out the nearby walk to the Point Bonita lighthouse as well! You’ll see the GGB from a different angle and, if you’re lucky, might catch a glimpse of whales!

I visited SF 4 mths ago from England. I certainly missed photo treat there. Wow what amazing shot of the bridge. I got mine from the other side
The Golden Gate Bridge looks good at any angle but hope you can get to this side if you are ever back in SF. Lots of good hiking and views on this side as well.

Beuatiful. Did you know that Lisbon (Portugal) has a bridge similar to The Golden Gate and it is called The 25th April Bridge.
Yes! We were in Lisbon a few years ago and saw the bridge. The cable cars and the hilly streets reminded us of SF as well!

This was late afternoon I believe, but sunrise or sunset would be great!
Spring and fall are also the best times to visit. It can be foggy in summer and winter.

Look for Battery Spencer, Sausalito, CA on Google maps and you’ll see the parking lot at the beginning of the trail or try this code on google maps. 849VRGH8+VJ

It’s walkable. Google Map from Dana Bowers Vista Point to Battery Spencer and Maps shows the path pretty well. You can walk along Conzelman Road (or the SCA trail to avoid waking on a road shoulder). Just note that it’s an uphill walk! Enjoy!

What are those locks for?
I guess it’s a symbolic thing for couples. The couple puts their name on the lock, attach it and throw away the keys symbolizing a love locked forever.
