A young couple on the rise. If this is an example of the future style of Rumba being taught. then not all is doomed. Now, lets hope the judges get on board and more favourable reward this lovely style of dance over the synthetic, overdramatised nonsense.
Joe Testa . You really have a great eye Joe. This couple extend to the limit of shape but never beyond to make it look overdone. There is a male/female dynamic not overtly masculine from him but new age male: Strong and masculine with a softer side. Lady is all class. Sensuous and feminine. Love them
Brad Cherry. Thanks for the kind words and I totally agree with your sentiments about this partnership. It means alot to me coming from someone with your background and experience. I just call it as I see it. I know what I like in dancers and this I like very much. When I see such gorgeous yin and yang chemistry and artistic, sincere musical expressiveness, I can very quickly forget whether the big toe is perfectly crossed over the little one. For me its not enough to see someone dance I want to feel it, as I do here. You know we are often so focused on the very top few couples that we tend to overlook just how good some of these other couple are. I get pissed off because adjudicator don't reward them enough. Good to hear from you. Cheers.
