About this time of year eight years ago, Ste told Brendan that he (Ste) will always hate him (Brendan). Ste also told Brendan that Brendan needed to stop trying to control him (Ste). Ste went on to say he was not putting up with things that Brendan did, that he (Ste) wasn't going to play by Brendan's rules and he (Ste) wasn't going to be the victim again of Brendan's abuse. Sadly, Brendan continued the hitting.
