My friend from Rolling Wrench told me do some research on GY6 150cc because I be getting a ice bear maddog trike 150cc and be Mod it too! Thanks for information! Custom bikes & trikes
Hey did you have to get any ac/dc converter when replacing the tail light? I have a gen 5 and need to replace the factory tail light since it’s not working and want to know what the harness will look like before I purchase
I got that tail light from cycle gear. I just wired up the existing wiring that came from the bike, I did not add a harness from anything else. Virtually any aftermarket tail light brake light combo will work with the existing wiring.
So far so good with my current lighting , i want to upgrade to the 11pole stator just because. I havent gotten around to ordering one yet. Current stator seems to be working fine for the moment.
The 8 pole system should hold up to 100w. But remember the rest of the system consumes some of that. Keep your lights under 70w and the 8 pole should be fine. If you upgrade to a lithium battery and install a battery tender ( you have to use it ) 80w will probably run ok. Things like big bore kits need more power to get going. So everyone’s mileage may vary depending on setup.
The CVT cover comes with a back plate and spacers with bolts. It will eliminate your Kickstarter however if your battery is in good shape it's usually not an issue.
Thank you for sharing this video of stock GY6 150cc!

Did you have to get longer brake lines for the new handle bars?
Just the stock cables. No extensions needed.

Nice build! Where can I source a exhaust like yours?
Ebay I believe, it is inexpensive and looks good at the same time.
@@custombikesandtrikes4374 thank you! I really like the bars.
@@custombikesandtrikes4374 got a link to which one?
The only thing I hate about the Mad Dog is the frame
Its definitely not as refined or as pretty as some of the honda stretched frames.
nice, love it
