Why the fffn hell does ALL (F)onk at least most to all mixes ive heard of the style/genre has some parts large parts or throughout and at least A part that has suuuupr duuuupr crappy bass like its played on a blown up speakerset. A crunchy cracky grainy noise overkilled(in the worst sense of what the word is capable to) sound. Most often its in Bass sample but im sure i heard it also in the general parts. Is it a characteristic of Fonk to sound like a speaker system pushed 40%+ over the max volume it is able to handle without giving serious downfall in audio quality ? Thats what im starting to think as the explanation for it being as it is. OR the seemingly impossible way of living up to the title/song discription saying HARD & AGRESSIVE is responsible for this fonky crappysamplingbass aspect? Only has moments where it touches my border of where aggressive and hard definition is at. BUT
@@tree2800 idk either but I agree, I think. What do you think is going on? Compressing the shit out of parts to limit peaking? I’m new to this but when tracks are all over the place with volume, and I try limiting them or compression, the huge bass can sometimes turn into doodoo. Is it by design though here? Idk everything has that bit music aesthetic it could just mean to sound broke up like old video game music
@@hauntedmound6358 well i dont get why anybody would design shitty sound quality. And its all over the whole width of the fonk production. And we live in a era where digital music production has had such massive developed technology , software combined with super experiënced skilled dj's producers sound engineers etc to be sure about the fact that if this is incompetance all over its concentrated in the fonk scene lol. Like fonk production being famous and skilled in making crappy skilldeficiënt shitty stuff as its signature move whahahaha. Just the knowledge what can be made with todays technology and the deep complex software music programs with a endless maze of infinite feeling plug-ins where most buttons have follow up windows and pop-ups of menus and extra sea's of fine tuning tweaking editing extentions rofl. And guys who can roll with that shit is crazy and ffffn awesome AF. And than oh yes we also have the fonk peeps scratching their heads looking confused clicking shit and seem to lack basic clue's of how to make it sound decent on a sound quality lvl xDDD
