General Shah Mahmood

Meet General Shah Mahmood Niazi of Afghanistan
He is retired Army Officer in #AfghanArmy, he graduated from the #RoyalArmy academy from the #UK in 1958 and served #Afghanistan until 1990, he lost 2 sons during the civil war in #Kabul 1992-1996 and 3rd son last year in a suicide attack.
Currently, he lives in Kandahar city, Afhabistan, alone with his wife and his daughter in law, but with pride because he has worked for the country with honesty and want to die with pride. He doesn’t accept khairat or luxury house, in this age(88) he works hard like a man to support his small family of 4. This is called life with Dignity.
This is not all true. Actually the person in photo is Mr Dawood Shah, who has never been a general or held any higher post in security forces.
His interview and life story is very inspiring and needs to be shared and propagated.
