Played for 12 years i think and still play this game. I know people bitch about the state of the game but atleast now you are not killed by invisible tanks. There was no hit indicator and no way to tell what killed you unless you knew the exact alphadamages of the tanks in the enemy team. There was way more bushes to hide in and you could easily run in to a situation where you could not pen the enemy that was left and you just lost the game and i dont mean frontaly i mean from any angle. As weird as it sounds the game is better than it was before. Sure there was no Bz-176 roket boosting around but there was a conqueror orbital lazer cannon that missed you for 800 damage and killed half your crew and took your engine, turretring and tracks and you only had one use of repai kit. Any arta from the past was worse than bz now mainly bert the avenger fv304 that landed a he shell on your ass every 9 seconds and was beyond the hill so it was impossible to do anything about it other than accept the fate of being hit for 350 over and over and over o yes a tier 6 arta would kill you if it managed to double track you. It was not a matter of if it was certain death for any tank.
I think it was better back in 2016 when I stopped. Game is less grindy now but that's about it. I didn't have the hate for the artillery element though so there is that.
Love the spot you showed on Westfield at D5 with the double bush. I usualy play a similar spot at E6 where I can use some trees as cove to shoot at the heavys playing hill and I can also shoot at the flank on the k line. But its alot more risky and often a death sentence if you get spotted.
SAME! I don't think the double-bush works on the heavies up on the hill from that E6 position, so I usually get spotted shooting at them. Will definitely be using his position now!
4:00 How is that you peek like that on Prokhorovka and you don't get shot. If I were to peek like that with a paper tank like 50b I would be dead in 3 seconds.

Iyouxin do you think WoT would be more fun when every tank has a maximal reticle size of for exmaple 0.2? It would reduce frustration while shooting a lot. You would get hit more often tho, but thats because of your own mistakes then. I think reducing the reticle size that much would actually make the game more qualitative
They should make the japanese heavy double aming of the Type 71 a standard for all tanks - something a few players asked for years from the game. Could be even different "cool downs" for every tank, where the reticle gets smaller, the more you wait with your shot. Missing a tank infront of you as large as a barn with no fault of your own just plane sucks.
This is actually the reason why I quit WoT. There is just way too much randomness. Way too many factors that often leave you with just stupid luck rather than your own skill or mistakes. Even if enemies miss me or fail to penetrate and I win engagements due to this "randomness" it's kinda cheap. I always felt more frustrated by all this random mechanics than actually enjoying it. It also means WoT can never be really a "competitive" game - a lot of gaming contests avoid WoT because of all those hidden and visible "RNG" elements.
Yesterday on Prokhorovka did a new player with 4k games the medal where not spoted and cap with his STG Garde. I was in the loser team, our scouts died early and than it was at the end me and one more of my team vs 6 enemys. We were sitting on K3/K4 in the bush close to our cap and i had ~430 view range but i could not spot the Garde in the cap and he was not in the bush of the cap becouse i fired and saw how the bullet fly through. You can't roll 988 with 750 alpha dmg. Max is 937.5 which rounds up to 938 is max roll with all 750 alpha dmg guns and 562,5 rounded to 563 is lowes you can roll with 750 avarage
many people say that wot isnt fun, trash game, horrible gameplay, omg this, omg that, but honestly, thats just a massive skill issue becouse for me and for so many other people wot is the best and most fun game avalable

I play from Africa on NA server with 280ms ping, have 7k battles, a 5500 WN8 and 50.4% WR. I often wonder how much my ping affects my over-all stats. This game is fun but you HAVE to play in tanks and at tiers that you CAN have fun at. I'm in a clan where some of the guys get pissed off far to easily (on Team Speak) and give up but i think that they're too often playing out of their skill range and thus suffer rather than enjoy! Personally, i know my level/fun zone is between tiers 3 to 8.

14:50 988 was the 200 arty damage and 788 from the T30 combining if my maths is correct. T30 should only do 937 max damage with AP

That 988hp shoot from t30 was gathered with arta shoot of 200hp a second before, so it actually was 788hp shoot... I think so
