Giganotosaurus estimates put it at 43 feet long and 13 feet tall while Tyrannosaurus rex was 42 feet long and 13 feet tall. Not that much of a difference
I find Giga clever in it's fighting style. Letting the rex attack 1st, then headbutting to stun it. It would always headbutt and thrash in the later fights with rexy, similar to a sensei blocking attacks. I find it odd that rexy had a hard time with him, yes she's old but she was also old when she took on the much more sadistic Indominus Rex.
I LOVE Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, all of the movies. I have seen every movie several times. But...there is ONE thing that bugs me. Why do they have to tell people to 'ruuuunnnn'? If I see anything resembling Giga or dino-like, I'm out. Blink and you'll miss me. That's it, that's my rant. Can't wait for the new one to come out.❤❤❤

The Giga and Spino are powerful predators, but many Paleontologists have said the Apex Land Dinosaur is the T Rex. The T Rex had the most powerful teeth, the most powerful bite force radius, very intelligent, massivie head, robust neck and body. It was the Apex Predator.
You're talking about the Jurassic franchise not irl. Rexy is not weak and if she was on her prime she would lose to almost every single bigger theropod on 1v1. Giga is just bigger and better built, with armor, better iq in fights (since you can realize it always headbutts to stun Rexes then get a bite) and much more brute force. Spinosaurus in JP is much, much bigger than Rex and it's literally the Rex killer stated by JP3, where Eric says "Rex's urine attracts a big one with a sail"

But in water, as Spino was more of a river predator, Spino would win. Anyway we can agree disagree. Spino, T Rex and Giga are all great dinosaurs anyway.
Isn't it crazy that the best scene of the entire movie, was cut out of the theatrical release? Who wouldn't want to watch two big dinosaurs fight for dominance in a primal setting? And cutting this scene out just to tag onto FF was the wrong move.
Dominion did the Giganotosaurus dirty. It didn't even do anything wrong. It was just territorial. Plus, having the Therizinosaurus and T-Rex team up against it was so dumb. T-rex shouldn't always need an ally in order to win fights. Especially if that ally is a herbivore.
The Franchise really fell off here, The Giganotosaurus had so much potential but they ruined it. You can see the Giganotosaurus had some opportunities to actually kill (or at least hurt) some of the cast but it didn't. And the Giga's death was undeserved because it was just protecting its territory and acting on instinct. 2:57: It just walked and was not charging at them 3:01: It was obvious that they were hiding behind that vehicle but they made it act *Blind* 3:32: It saw them but it didn't go for the kill and was just slowly walking 3:38: It fumbled hard. It had the opportunity to kill Ian Malcolm there but just roared. 3:45: Why didn't it run?! It could've chased them right there but didn't. 4:29: This Scene right here is when I felt *very* disappointed with how the Giga was portrayed. IT HAD THE CHANCE TO KILL OR HURT SOME OF THEM BUT IT JUST ROARED. 6:05: Again, it could've thrashed its head towards Owen and bit down on him. 6:10: Same as Owen, could've thrashed its head towards Claire before she tased it. 7:09 and continued: One of The Most Awkward Showdowns, should've focused on Rexy and the Giga during their fight but they also showed the Humans like they think we want to see them. (At least the Fire Breathing Scene was cool) Overall, they did the Giganotosaurus Dirty with how it is portrayed.

Y’all can’t use the feats of the Prologue giga for Zeb since they are separate individuals. Also, the most Zeb did was steal from Rexy, eat a dying bug, and get clapped by a senior citizen T.rex and blind Edward Sissor Hands the dinosaur.

If they really wanted to make the Giganotosaurus feel like a major threat/villain that it was hyped up to be, then they should've had it kill at least 2-3 people/dinosaurs like the Spinosaurus in JP3 and Indominus Rex in Jurassic World along with the Indoraptor in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. That's what made those carnivores so menacing. A lot of people would disagree with this, but I think Ian Malcolm should've gotten eaten as he was making a sacrifice to help save the others. I feel like there were no stakes when they introduced the Giga and it's only kill was a locust that was flying that was already on fire after it pathetically missed the first one. It was a real letdown unfortunately.

The Giga did absolutely nothing in the movie. So why they even portray it as a rex killer. The spinosaurus was a menace cuz it stalked the the main group and actually killed the rex, and it didn't die. So the Giga shouldn't have died just ran away, as it's territory was taken by rexy
Not to mention what it did in Camp Cretaceous seasons 4 and 5. (Yes, the director of Camp Cretaceous confirmed that it was the same Spinosaurus from JP3)

If they really wanted to make the Giganotosaurus feel like a major threat/villain that it was hyped up to be, then they should've had it kill at least 2-3 people/dinosaurs like the Spinosaurus in JP3 and Indominus Rex in Jurassic World along with the Indoraptor in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. That's what made those carnivores so menacing. A lot of people would disagree with this, but I think Ian Malcolm should've gotten eaten as he was making a sacrifice to help save the others. I feel like there were no stakes when they introduced the Giga and it's only kill was a locust that was flying that was already on fire after it pathetically missed the first one. It was a real letdown unfortunately.

The Giga did absolutely nothing in the movie. So why they even portray it as a rex killer. The spinosaurus was a menace cuz it stalked the the main group and actually killed the rex, and it didn't die. So the Giga shouldn't have died just ran away, as it's territory was taken by rexy
Not to mention what it did in Camp Cretaceous seasons 4 and 5. (Yes, the director of Camp Cretaceous confirmed that it was the same Spinosaurus from JP3)
