it will only be about time when they run out of supplies and need to venture out in search of them. they are not expected to be staying inside there forever.
You are poorly informed, the radiation is carried in the fallout, if the barrels are sealed, no risk. The Gama or alpha waves will pass through but won't turn the water into "heavy" water which would be bad. My first thought was freeze/thaw comprimising the containers.
"You've got enough ammo for an army." You haven't even got enough for 20 minutes at a gun range. "This pumps air in from outside." *Fills room with post-nuclear radiation.*
Just some satanist. To be honest a little little part of radiation always gets not filtered, its just tiny but after a long time doing this it will affect your body
Owen Jackson the air filtration system is the same one used by the military to filter radioactive fallout in their bunkers. It can filter nuclear, biological, and chemical contaminants in the air.
There is, it just wasn't shown. His bunker is made by a company called "Atlas Survival Shelters". It comes standard with the toilet, shower, sinks, etc. Also comes with power options for Solar, Wind, Generators, or can be hooked to a Grid (most people go with Grid + one of the aforementioned). All of the major bunker production companies include toilets and showers. :P "Rising S" "Atlas Survival Shelters" "Deep Earth Bunkers" etc. The exact bunker this guy has is this one: www.atlassurvivalshelters.com/10x50-common-room-round-culvert If he got it for 65k he got it for a steal of a price honestly. The fact that he is showing it off means he likely works for Atlas.
Yeah I watched the video...Do you think he blindfolded the fucking camera crew before they left? I wasn't talking about just normal people, I'm talking about if something like martial law happens or some kind of government bullshit happens, the government will know exactly how to find you if they want...
If I had the money to build a bunker, you best believe I'm not gonna show the entire world what it looks like, what I have stored in it, or even tell another person who wouldn't be staying with me in it if anything happened...It's all a matter of opinion and as cool as these bunkers are, any intelligent person wouldn't be showing it off no matter what
"enough bullets to start an army" "what is this" - "an AR15" I have concluded, this guy isn't very much of a gun-person. (the reporter, not the bunker-owner)
could you imagine how much good could be done with all the resources these Preppers put into preparing for doomsday? You could easily be used to prevent the social economic and geopolitical Wars that could lead to Doomsday by investing in education and other areas of growth
can you imagine how much good could be done with all the resources these Governments put into creating wars and turmoil. Yet they are consistently given the authority to do so by us as a populations..... I can't really imagine investing 65k would make even a scratch on the surface of the issues we face. Not considering the US DoD budget this year was around $550 Billion.
Always take women into the bunker. Never tell them that youll be pimpin them out as the barter. Theyre easier to acquire and stock than all that other stuff. All you have to do is stock condoms, extra women, and guns. Everything else can be traded for by using their vaginas. Hey, welcome to reality.
lol ok, so someone is gonna track him down somewhere where he has no fucking idea where he is is just gonna magically find him & harass him to get him down to the bunker geez
I'm going to call bull-shit. Slavery for example - "When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)" or if that doesn't catch your fancy here's this one "When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl’s owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment. (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)" New testament or old it doesn't matter. "Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5 NLT) Christians who are slaves should give their masters full respect so that the name of God and his teaching will not be shamed. If your master is a Christian, that is no excuse for being disrespectful. You should work all the harder because you are helping another believer by your efforts. Teach these truths, Timothy, and encourage everyone to obey them. (1 Timothy 6:1-2 NLT)" Jesus/God seems pretty cool with slavery. That simple fact makes any man or woman who disagrees with slavery more moral than this "God" and this isn't even talking about unbelievers. I'll save that for later, as this reply is already pretty damn long :P
Oooh feel christian love! Is this the Old Testament God I'm hearing? Well, it can't possibly be, he's not smiting me for not worshiping him. He hasn't sent a flood to murder me, or sent bears to kill me. Maybe he'll send a good crusader to brutally murder my land and peoples :P
Memestar the name Omar is a joke. protect yourself from Isis mate and strap up. I need a picture with caption quoting what's real with someone fake showing it off. memestar you suck at this generation
If bunkers worked, then the proof in them would be known. The best bunker builders the world ever knew were taken out in just a few years. The Germans of WWII thought bunkers were the "Be all" in self protection. Also, the biggest, most elaborate, best defended bunker of all time, the Maginot line, was over whelmed and the occupants flushed out in five weeks. Even deep redoubt holdovers from WWII thought they could make in their bunkers deep in the Bavarian Alps, yet, they were all rooted out within a few months. Bunkers do not work. Mobility, common sense, and good skills preparation are what made most survivors through out history survive the longest in disastrous times. The record hold-outs, who were the isolated Japaneses soldiers in the Pacific Islands, such as Borneo, Guam and the Philippines did not use bunkers; they used mobility, common sense and good survival skills.
***** Actually, I have searched for any success in that portion of the "bunker" phenomenon. So far, I have not found a single example of how bunkers helped in the long run. Short term, yes, such as refuges from storms and air raids and such. But, static survival is a dead end effort. Eventually, you run out of food and consumables. You must then leave the bunker and head to more fruitful sources of sustenance. Consider a societal collapse, which it seems to me most of these type "bunker" strategies are designed to resist. With the fall of organized law enforcement, a rogue government is imposed on the local citizenry. Most people do not have the resources to initially hide from such immediate chaos and thus fall either victim or willing participant to it. The existing groups most equipped to take over power with the decline of organized law enforcement and government are criminal gangs and various civil militias. Obviously, with the collapse of civil order, there will be a power vacuum and it will quickly be filled by these pre-disaster organized groups. Almost certainly, there will be armed conflict as these groups vie for control of territory and population and ever more scare resources. The "Bunkered" people will try to avoid this era as much as possible and probably will. However, the outcome of such base collisions between power structures will result in dramatically altered society as Warlords become better established. eventually, as resources dwindle, there will be a kind of "treasure hunt" for any remaining things of value from the past culture, such as oatmeal, wheat, rice, batteries, fuel, clothing- just the sorts of things these bunkered folks would have. Heaven help them as they are eventually rooted out. So, instead of bunkering, it seems to me these types would be far better off organizing a kind of "surface brigade" of like minded people who are determined to survive and thrive. The larger the group and the better trained and equipped it is in the Pre-Apocalypse, the far better chances they have of making it to the top of the inevitable post apocalyptic power heap. The fights between power mongers in such an environment will be fierce and they will be ruthless. I have no confidence such mental attitude as will be required to survive in that world is something very many people living in a contemporary peaceful society will be prepared to demonstrate. I believe survival in that terrible world will require some very attitude altering lessons before the event comes in which it will be needed. Here is a question that was presented at a survivalist group meeting I attended (and ultimately became a member of for quite some time); This question has no correct answer. But, it does make one think; - "The disaster has happened, society as you knew it is dead. The "hammer" has fallen. You have made it to your well organized and thought out A.O. You have your supplies all properly planned out, You can last for a year, no problem with your family. One day, a very bedraggled family of four, a man, his wife, and their two little daughters, one three and the other six wander into your A.O. They see you and the wonderful things you have.. They have nothing but the rags on their backs and desperately need help. What do you do?" How you answer that question can instantly tell a trained survivalist whether you are of a mentality to make it or not. The post apocalyptic world will be far different than the one you are living in. Most people do not understand just how different it will be. Today, you might pay a dime for a bowl's worth of oatmeal or a glass of clean water; in the fallen world, you would literally risk your very life or quite easily take someone else's for such priceless treasures.
***** The problem is, "Who knows?" The disaster scenario is unpredictable and would likely be different in every jurisdiction in the country. People in a farming community would be more or less already self sufficient while the crowded city folk would be more desperate and less prepared. Each would react differently to a dramatic reduction of supplies. For example, I lived in a 40,000 citizen community that was about 200 miles remote from larger cities. There came a short term trucker's strike that affected grocery store deliveries for about five days. The second news came about the strike, there was a rush on the stores and everything was sold out in a few hours. I had never in my life in the USA had seen empty grocery store shelves. I went innocently to the store for routine evening shopping on my way home from work, having not heard of the strike. To my amazement the Safeway was devoid of anything but a few condiments and some dried fruit! At the time, we had no way of knowing how long the strike would last. I went home and took inventory of our food supplies on hand...we were practically as unprepared as could be. We could last a few days, but then it would be down to two old cans of asparagus and some canned milk we had held in the back of the cupboard for five years. It was a ghastly prospect. I actually felt fear. I did not know what to do. I then drove two hundred miles to the larger city and bought a pickup truck full of food. Thankfully, a few days later the strike ended and everything was back to normal. Ever since then, I have maintained a two month supply of "special" survival rations and have kept them fresh in rotation. But, the question stays in the back of my mind, - because I had that experience, my family is always prepared. Yet, I know the people around me are not in the slightest prepared. What happens if that hammer drops again and this time for real? I remember how desperate I felt back then and how strange it was to feel so insecure in this land of plenty. That's how desperate my neighbors are going to be. I'll certainly be outnumbered. In a week, when they smell beans cooking in my little pot, they are going to come a-knocking on my front door. And they will be hungry and highly pissed I did not invite them over for dinner. Really...what would you do. So, the reason I mention that story in the face of your question is that the time to build that "community of prepared people" is long before the disaster comes. Desperate people are not reliable nor predictable. If you had a good group you could count on who were equally prepared and had thought out ahead of time various potential disaster scenarios you would be miles in front of the shock wave. You would know them, have a solid plan, know they had survival supplies, and would probably group together for organized self protection from desperately hungry neighbors. Try to imagine yourself going to your unprepared neighbor or acquaintance in a post-disaster moment and saying, "Look, we're in a real tight here and we must stick together. Come to my well prepared shelter and be part of my little self-survival group. I have food, ammo, weapons, etc". Sure as hell, that guys is going to say, "Yes! I'm in!" simply because he knows no other solution and is keen to get into your raisins and chocolate bars and will hide behind you when the gangs come to take them out of his pockets over your dead body. See, you might be able to sort out who is reliable and who is not from a breathless band of Biker Gang dungeon escapees. But, unless you are prepared in such a luxurious way you could equip a small platoon, forget the cohesiveness and group understanding the post-A group is going to need. Given time, you might get them to toughen up enough to at least not be road kill soup for "Bad Man Jose and his Pussy Pirates" There simply is no time to explain to your untrained groupies why you shot the little lost family of four, or brought them into your enclave as slaves or as future food or what ever your understanding of survival planning is. People need time to grasp their sudden change from being able to dash down to the corner for a Big Mac to having to forage a whole day in a deadly hostile environment for three measly ounces of berries. Bunkers might do well to insulate you for a short time to let you get a grip on things and to form a semi-secure base of operations and keep a reliable supply depot.. But, very quickly, you have to have your finger on the pulse of the situation happening around you. Hiding out in utter isolation while the whole world turns into troglodyte hell is not the ideal way to achieve long term survival and participate in the re-creation of a secure society.
The Maginot Line was made to defend France from possible invaders. They were made to protect against the outside and were very well developed and defended. There was a swamp that the Germans came through that the French thought you couldnt get a tank or soldiers through plus a huge forest, so they didn't defend very well and had like 100 troops patrolling it. The Maginot Line was flanked and wrekt from behind and didn't stand a chance. #theFrenchright? lol. I do agree though that bunkers aren't very good but what about NORAD? Or NATO? Just Sayin
Gage Montoya Any survival scenario depends heavily on mobility, decisive action, unity of group in that everyone understands the goals, and strict discipline. Before I spent $185,000.00 on a bunker, I would spend the money in setting up a training unit for like minded persons and building up a "camp" or a "Platoon" of dedicated, self sufficient people. Only through group get-togethers and discussion, and pre-disaster "camp-outs" can you possibly form the cohesion such a group would need. You find out the strengths and weaknesses of the members before you have to count on them. You find out who the slackers are and who the real dependables are. You can form up a buying club, to purchase survival supplies in bulk, and establish well developed,, but secret, AO's in remote areas near your homes. These AO's have to be developed before you need them...they have to be near water supplies, in areas that may have wild game or near other known food resources, which can be in urban areas, such as grocery food distribution centers, packing and canning plants,, etc.. The AO has to be easy enough for everyone to get to in a pinch, and yet, be semi hidden, with a few well camouflaged escape routes. There needs to be several AO's for fall-back positions. You can even cache supplies - like fuel, food, tools, and even ammo. The main thing is, groups have more resources than individuals, and they can be unified in both purpose and doctrine. There would be no shock or disunity over actions the leader has to take in order to protect the AO or supplies....such things would have already been discussed and hashed out. The most important thing with a group is strength. No loners can possibly survive in such an environment when everyone is struggling for survival. My group did this little eye-opening experiment. We went to a completely undeveloped potential AO and no one brought any food...just water. We stayed for three days, ate nothing. All the while we kept notes and video of our experiences and how we changed...and man, did we ever change! We got to experience first hand how hunger made us vulnerable and affected our decisions and our discussions, even our determination to push on toward set goals.. At the evening of the third day, wives came in with gobs of food...and we had to eat slowly and with discipline. What an experience. It gives you insight not only about yourself, which is important...but, more importantly, about the people you may be encountering who are not prepared to survive. They would literally kill you for a bowl of oatmeal. To hell with bunkers...group up, learn, prepare, stay mobile, stay tough.
I'd have imagine it was important to disguise the entrance. If there really was a breakdown of society, survivors would be looking for prepper bunkers like this.
Thank you Manuel Rendon I don't mean to insult people. Just there is a lot of things they do that I was doing as a kid with my pillow fort, except I had nerf guns.
+foxhound13 Not totally wrong. The army is often people who want to play camp. However, you can get real work done while you're at it. If you are a decent prepper, you can be prepared for any disaster, not just the unlikely ones. That's why the Army does preparedness studies involving Zombies, despite the low likelihood of the "Zombie Apocalypse".
Not me. At 55, I don't want to spend the rest of my days waiting to die or be attacked for food and water. If we get nuked or bio-hacked, I hope I'm one of the first victims to go.
Nope, I wouldn't like to go on such a long road trip to get to a shelter, that shelter is pretty much pointless to me. Might use it as a little retreat to get away from the family ;-)
he said he prays for God to give him a 24 hr notice if a nuke is going to happen, 24 hr notice can get him 1,500 miles away, also who would waste a nuke on utah? if a country was going to drop a nuke it would be LA or NYC.
This bunker will never be put to the use for which it is intended. Never, unless he's vgot transport that c overs the distance in considerably less than eight hours. He's not going to get eight hours notice of a nuclear war, the stupid, paranoid man. He'll be lucky to get eight minutes'.
The question isn't (IF) you will need to put away food and supplies, the only question is how bad do things really need to get around you before you start putting away food and supplies...Fun Fact, if you took away ALL of the SNAP cards from millions of u.s recipients you would see Food Lines on the streets that would make the food lines of the Great Depression seem tame.
1st, Utah is a big state, I doubt anyone could actually find his bunker. 2nd, I would bet money the guy and the reporter worked out a plan to purposefully throw off anyone who wanted to try and find it. 3rd, if the shit hits the fan I would guess not a single person who viewed this video is even going to remember they watched it, leave their area to go find it. We would all be too busy surviving where we are; trying to fend off our neighbors.
If there's a "break own" of society, paper currency will be worth NOTHING almost immediately...the stuff that will have value is the stuff people won't want to give up...
Not enough food, not enough waste disposal, not enough entertainment etc. Well, that's what you get by living in a fantasy world. You become blind to the things that really matter.
***** Yep, I know Ron, in fact I sat in one of his bunkers yesterday on the couch and watched some TV. Ron is currently in Tennessee, which is where I am, but he will leave tonight or in the morning. I would get a bigger unit though if I where you, he even has 12 foot by 51 sizes, but they are not listed on his page. He has a whole city out in Texas that you can buy into, and everybody shares the amenities.
***** I'm sad to say it, but I can't recommend any of them. They are just to damn expensive for what they are offering. I recommend you order the NBC filter system and everything else you need, then build one yourself out of concrete, rebar, and rock. Order a triple seal NBC door from www.sportsmansteelsafes.com/nbc_vault_doors.htm, etc.
I keep a bunch of bottled water and non-perishable food items in store, but not even close to the degree of some of these preppers, just enough to wait out a wide-scale emergency for a month or so if I ever need to (i.e. earthquake or some other disaster). Everyone should do the same, as the "grid" won't always be 100% reliable. Sadly, I do believe people like this and many others actually WANT an apocalypse-scenario to take place so they can say "told you so." Strange people, some of them.
Honestly, a 72 hour kit is really all you need. Real life worst case scenario is a Hurricane Katrina type disaster. In an imaginary apocalypse like these guys fantasize about hiding in a bunker with stored food isn't really feasible. A small community of people with the means to produce their own consumables (ie farmers) are what it would take to survive more than a year.
Dustin B I'm glad somebody said this I have always thought that people in a survival situation would band together within their own community. Rather than lose all integrity and turn into psychotic murderers the moment the grid went down. These guys seem to all want a future like the wild west but shittier and less social.
zombies nuclear war ok fine but look at texas and the flooding all the dead people if only they had somewhere higher up they could have gone to get away from this in advance go where there was food and shelter gee maybe they could be alive today
Hopefully he has teenage children who will use it to throw parties down there and eat those snacks when they get the munchies. It won't be a complete waste of money.
Yeah... but if shit is going down, and what he is afraid of actually happens, he will have the last laught while the rest would pray to Jesus for ''salvation''... Is really dumb to laugh by someone who is genuily preparing for a potentail disaster... unless they prepare for a zombie apocalypse - those peoples are indeed ridiculous.
$1 bills and gold rings for barter.. wtf is that gonna get you? Liquor, weed, cigarettes, pills, salt, sugar and so on... Those are proper barter items.
He got this bunker from "Atlas Shelters"... you can watch the company's vids on youtube. Or go to their website. This man got one that is "blank" or empty... came with bare minimum like the beds and air filtration. But the company can actually deck these things out nicely, when you look at their website.
That awkward moment you need a drink and ran out of what you got down there, but you can't get that great supply because it's raining bombs! Or contaminated if its nuclear bombs being used!
"Is that one of those black, baby killer, fully semi-automatic Assualt Riffles?" "The one that can be bought by a 5 year old at Walmart, using the gun show loop hole?" -CNN
i would rather die fighting rather than being cooked up like a chicken and risk radiation and finally come out and see there's fuck all left not even a tree to piss on.
nickserio35 if a nukes going to go off i want to be in the middle of if dead in less than a second rather than a slow pain full death by burns and radiation screw that.
I always think of the real nuclear disasters that hit people, like in Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Most people survived them, even though they were some of the dirtiest nuclear bombs in history. They have examples of a few survivors who were only 500 feet from ground zero in basements and other protected places. Others, just a mile or less from ground zero survived just because they happened to be in the right places standing out in the open. Some survivor suffered absolutely no ill effects at all. Yes, I realize there would be a great many more nukes in event of a modern exchange. But, at the same time, watching tests even of huge nuclear blasts, they still have limited areas of total devastation that are very small compared to the size of the country. Most of the nukes would be targeted at military specific targets. Almost all smaller towns would not even see or hear a nuke. they would have to find out about on the news. Yes, there would be radiation. But, then look at the massive release of radiation in Chernobyl. Yes, it did kill a lot of animals and people. But, nature quickly restored it and even a great many animals survived it...thus so could people. So, a nuke exchange might not be the end of the world. It might even be the salvation of the world. No one knows. So, sure, I would choose to fight like hell to survive and make my family survive. That's what we are supposed to do.
Polypropellor you do realise Chernobyl is still uninhabitable still to this day? im just saying i would rather die at ground zero rather than radiation hair falling out and shitting in buckets for days every one has their own point of view and scenarios of what they would do every ones different at the end of the day but you said about how little the nuke is compared to the country as a whole what about the U.K lol couple of nukes our little island is going to go down like the titanic yes ok its not as small as what imade it out to be but if a nuke was to hit London-Manchester-Glasgow-Edinburgh-Cardiff......etc then that's the uk done.
Thanks for telling us where it is. My family will join you as well!
What do you think the guns are for? lol
there's 10K worth of gold buried there, might as well go fishing to find this place. lol
lol
Lol I know right, why would they advertise their dooms day bunker.
They didn't say the exact location so, good luck with that
Why do you have so much beef jerky?
"We love beef jerky"
Zerospacedude sameeee
Got enough ammo to start a war... Pulls out a tiny box LMFAO...
The battle at Lexington/Concord in 1775 only took 1 shot to start.
lol typical CNN
start a army not a war
Short Ass Gaming it’s cnn dont blame em
Bruh that was like 50 rounds😂😂
but not a single radition suit
so true lmao
Let the man play with his toys :(
20 foot of soil will do quite a job of shielding from radiation. Actually you only need 3 feet of compacted soil to shield from radiation.
it will only be about time when they run out of supplies and need to venture out in search of them. they are not expected to be staying inside there forever.
garneroutlaw1 he said that the air comes from outside.....
is there any wifi there?
I hope so
Lol
darrell octavianus nah LTE
that works too
asking the real question
All that planning and money put into the shelter, and he leaves barrels of water outside to get irradiated...brilliant.
seriously... I hope this is a joke
Thought the same thing tbh
Delicious
Haha
You are poorly informed, the radiation is carried in the fallout, if the barrels are sealed, no risk. The Gama or alpha waves will pass through but won't turn the water into "heavy" water which would be bad.
My first thought was freeze/thaw comprimising the containers.
prepares for doomsday, dies of heart attack...
lol chill man
good humour :D
Pretty sure Doomsday can destroy this bunker real quick when Superman throws him down from the sky.
Konglomerant hahaha
or gets involved in a car accident on the way to the bunker. also 4 years on and hes still waiting for doomsday XD
"You've got enough ammo for an army."
You haven't even got enough for 20 minutes at a gun range.
"This pumps air in from outside."
*Fills room with post-nuclear radiation.*
Owen Jackson 😂😂
Just some satanist. To be honest a little little part of radiation always gets not filtered, its just tiny but after a long time doing this it will affect your body
the air is filtered
Owen Jackson the air filtration system is the same one used by the military to filter radioactive fallout in their bunkers. It can filter nuclear, biological, and chemical contaminants in the air.
It's called a HEPA filter guys...
he needs 24 hours notice for a nuke?!
yourmomsscrotum I’ve heard estimates of 15 minutes
Even sooner if the enemy has subs right off the coast
yourmomsscrotum ha
Bruh you get 4 mins
Even if he needs 24 hours, you'll get carjacked within 20 minutes lol
Forgets location to bunker while driving there:( feelsbadman
Canadian Albino means the prepper picked a good spot.
@@baileyharrison1030 so good not even he knows the location
perfect trailer for the new fallout game
true I love GTA 5 best game but this video is perfect for the new fallout trailer
what if this actually is a secret trailer?!?!? lol
(i know its not, it was meant to be a joke)
Vegan Gains why do you have to be so mean are you good man
Vegan Gains many adults play video games how about you watch people -_-
He didnt build that shelter. Thats an Atlas Shelter
Why is there no bathroom?

That's ganna stank
Funkee 9 because the guys that build bunkers all ways forget
You'll shit everything out on the way there from the radiation

Find his bunker for a free house with free food gold and guns..... Where is this lol
don't even ask something so stupid
I'm sure it's locked up
believe me you dont want this crazy man to find you in his bunker
just break in!
my thoughts exactly
With the Coronavirus this bunker is not looking like such a crazy idea now huh?
Mr Web true lol 😂
Coronavirus you just stay home, no need to live in a bunker 😂
Why? I'm fine at home no reason to live in a bunker!
I bet you feel stupid now two years later huh
I think it's great what you've done but sharing it with the world was not a smart idea
he didn't share the location
It's not hard to find someone's location when you know how they look and name!
Yeah I watched the video...Do you think he blindfolded the fucking camera crew before they left? I wasn't talking about just normal people, I'm talking about if something like martial law happens or some kind of government bullshit happens, the government will know exactly how to find you if they want...

Reporter: You've got enough bullets to start an army here.
Dude: Um... yeah.
😂😂
What do you expect from a CNN reporter? :D A box of bullets is just too much to comprehend.
Reporter: *_(Holding AR)_* -"And what is this?"
I died laughing.
That reporter had no fucking idea how many bullets you need. He thinks 2 boxes of bullets is enough to start an army?
That wasn't even a whole box
4 years later he regrets spending every dollar
Seuthy lol
Seriously do you don't believe war coming.
That’s cruel
yes, I do don't believe war is coming, I don't do believe cooler heads will prevail
By now, all that food is expired.
The interviewer: ''You have enough weapons to start an army''
The man: ''Errm.. yea''
"enough bullets to start an army"
"what is this" - "an AR15"
I have concluded, this guy isn't very much of a gun-person. (the reporter, not the bunker-owner)
Levo GAMES it is cnn
people are saying what a waste of money but maybe he's got money to blow but anyways better safe than sorry
could you imagine how much good could be done with all the resources these Preppers put into preparing for doomsday? You could easily be used to prevent the social economic and geopolitical Wars that could lead to Doomsday by investing in education and other areas of growth

I can't really imagine investing 65k would make even a scratch on the surface of the issues we face. Not considering the US DoD budget this year was around $550 Billion.
The war's cost for one year could be used to END homelessness. Shit we could buy them all nice condos for what the military uses.
I imagine if he had money to blow he would have better guns (maybe he does) but idk
so you think all of the money that preppers use would prevent 'doomsday' from happening? get real dude lmfao
Why would you pack useless paper currency and jewelry for barter material? Wouldn’t cigarettes, alcohol, etc make more sense?
Heterosexual Male agree, especially medicine and some weed too
Alexis Ortega for tradeing
gold could arguably still be used, but not cash. Also, telling everyone you have thousands of dollars stashed in your bunker is really stupid.
Because Mormons do not smoke or drink.
Always take women into the bunker. Never tell them that youll be pimpin them out as the barter. Theyre easier to acquire and stock than all that other stuff. All you have to do is stock condoms, extra women, and guns. Everything else can be traded for by using their vaginas. Hey, welcome to reality.
being prepared means keeping this secrect, your telling the world in case of a disaster follow me to my bunker
They didn't show the entire route, that drive is like 9 hours long...
lol ok, so someone is gonna track him down somewhere where he has no fucking idea where he is is just gonna magically find him & harass him to get him down to the bunker
geez
***** He got them guns though. He probably thought his family to use them to, why have them so accessible if only you could use the guns?
Hence, the firearms. Go try taking his shit. Dare ya! This is the USA, where you don't have to be a victim.
They said it's far away from where he lives. Someone could easily find it or stumble across it first lol. Maybe even rob it before the world ends
"Faith oriented person" then why the fuck do I need a 60 thousand dollar bunker
And also how to properly beat your slaves, and to murder people who don't believe in your sky fairy :P
(Ephesians 6:5 NLT)
Christians who are slaves should give their masters full respect so that the name of God and his teaching will not be shamed.
To survive
*****
Oooh feel christian love! Is this the Old Testament God I'm hearing? Well, it can't possibly be, he's not smiting me for not worshiping him. He hasn't sent a flood to murder me, or sent bears to kill me. Maybe he'll send a good crusader to brutally murder my land and peoples :P
"You've got enough bullets to start an army!"
"Um... Yeah."

sorry not American can't identify all the states well
yeah it would be great pumping radiated air into your bunker, nice!
That's what I was thinking
Hence, the air filtration unit.
@Kassa, you cant filter out radiation
you guys are stupid... it's possible and rather easy to filter out radiation
Yes, all you need is a radiation filtration unit.

But, it does make one think; -
"The disaster has happened, society as you knew it is dead. What do you do?"
How you answer that question can instantly tell a trained survivalist whether you are of a mentality to make it or not.
Given time, you might get them to toughen up enough to at least not be road kill soup for "Bad Man Jose and his Pussy Pirates"
There simply is no time to explain to your untrained groupies why you shot the little lost family of four, or brought them into your enclave as slaves or as future food or what ever your understanding of survival planning is.
Thank you for sharing Tom. Some good insights here and useful knowledge shared.
If there really was a breakdown of society, survivors would be looking for prepper bunkers like this.

not as good as colinfurze's
Definitely
exactly what I was thinking
Wrong. Colinfurze's is 3 feet underground. It won't protect him from anything.
oh lol
That was made as a sort of advertisement haha, not too function properly...
He spent 65 k on that!?!??!
common bro
he spent 65k but has 2k in the bunker....
+Mark Valencia he has about $12,000 in cash and gold.
Fat lot of good money'll be when there's nowhere to spend it! Cash and gold is a waste of space, but then so is the bunker.
dead ass, shit looks like a drain pipe
Ian Phillips you dumb as fuck
I like how this reporter just picks up a mans weapon and ammunition with out Asking !!😂
Is that an official "man's rule?"
Did not realize the sanctity of guns that kill others...confiscate his guns!
If there's a nuclear attack, pumping air in from the outside might not be a good idea lol
You didn't listen Dumbass, it's cleaning the air too!
+Scandinavian Explorer calling me a dumbass wasn't necessary, all you had to do was explain why I'm wrong
+MatthewLedZepfan he did that because you were too swaggy
True tho
+Scandinavian Explorer oh
This guy played a lot of Fallout..
And who will carry all the water in before the radiation kills them? 😅
doomsday preppers are people that just want to play fort.
You idiot
+foxhound13 It actually makes sense. I like preppers just for the idea of living isolated, is the fort game all over again. hahahaha
Thank you Manuel Rendon I don't mean to insult people. Just there is a lot of things they do that I was doing as a kid with my pillow fort, except I had nerf guns.
+foxhound13 Lmao
+foxhound13 Not totally wrong. The army is often people who want to play camp. However, you can get real work done while you're at it. If you are a decent prepper, you can be prepared for any disaster, not just the unlikely ones. That's why the Army does preparedness studies involving Zombies, despite the low likelihood of the "Zombie Apocalypse".
What would be funny is if someone found it and robbed it all that money and gold!
Yo, want to go on a treasure hunt around Utah in the hills during winter where that green bunker sticks out worse than a spot light?
if it was me I will not want to be showing off all my gold rings to be stolen just saying
i will come too need some time until i arrive from austria then lets go treasure hunting
it is underground
Let's go treasure hunting. Let me get my knives, glock, ski mask, gloves, zip ties.
I BET EVERYONE IS WISHING THEY WERE HIM RIGHT ABOUT NOW!
This video is titled wrong, it should say something like: "Man buys $65,000 doomsday bunker and has it installed."
More like "Man wastes 14000$ on jewelry and cash and uses the rest to buy a bunker a day away from his house."
That too, he won't likely get 24 hour warning.
They should've named this video "man describes America is 4 minutes"
EthanGamer Tv #1 Fan I presume you don't live in America
8-years-ago, wonder if he's well and alive
he said he prays for God to give him a 24 hr notice if a nuke is going to happen, 24 hr notice can get him 1,500 miles away, also who would waste a nuke on utah? if a country was going to drop a nuke it would be LA or NYC.
I know Utah is so sparsely populated it most likely wouldn't do anything.
LA is pretty close to Utah
LA is over 400 miles from utah, and a nuke kills everyone within about a mile diameter, all the rest near the explosion may die from the radiation
well I'll be dead then...
jed black No, most likely they would hit missile silos first and military bases, as those are priority targets.
Man dies slowly from starvation/dehydration rather then instantly from explosion. Great plan!
2:24
"There's an obvious question about all this"
Yeah.... where the heck do I poop?!
What a waste of $65,000 if nothing happens
What a good investment $65k if something happens.
But what if something happens and he doesn't have 8 fucking hours to drive out to his bunker.
Then it will not matter. The dead do not think on whether good or bad invested.
Or maybe someone else use this to save own life.
What a waste of $65,000! Still, it's swollen the food store's profits.
This bunker will never be put to the use for which it is intended. Never, unless he's vgot transport that c overs the distance in considerably less than eight hours. He's not going to get eight hours notice of a nuclear war, the stupid, paranoid man. He'll be lucky to get eight minutes'.
I dont get it, he dosent even have a set of power armor. This guy needs to get more serious about his survival.
He at least needs some rad-x
Yah and a pip boy
and some stimpacks
+FaZe MicheLle he doesn't even have a way to get to Far Harbor, smh.
What about some nukacola
“You got enough bullets to start an army.”
*pulls out a tiny box of ammunition* 😂
It's all fine & dandy until Negan knocks on your Bunker door asking for half of your shit :D
Joshua Strider lmao
And that cash and gold aint worth crap in the apocalypse.
No, when thugs start demanding your shit, you shoot them and add their shit to your stash.
12 clover field lane anyone?
No! That shit sucked!
Was thinking of that. Good movie
Zach No!
I'm guessing JJ Abrams was inspired by this, because the corridor is very similar
TheIllusionelf it was a great movie!
I remember watching this and thinking it's crazy. Fast forward to now 2018 and this doesn't sound half bad.
Xc Pl sadly yes
The question isn't (IF) you will need to put away food and supplies, the only question is how bad do things really need to get around you before you start putting away food and supplies...Fun Fact, if you took away ALL of the SNAP cards from millions of u.s recipients you would see Food Lines on the streets that would make the food lines of the Great Depression seem tame.
Hahaha, I bet it sounds even better in 2022!
Dawn Noble
Yes but dude showed HIS face. All anyone really IS him to lead the way.
I have made a bunker
When shit hits the fan the people who built all these bunkers will raid them one by one, these people are sitting on goldmines man.
If there's a "break own" of society, paper currency will be worth NOTHING almost immediately...the stuff that will have value is the stuff people won't want to give up...
I doubt a North Korean bottle rocket can destroy all of society.
pantslizard weed, cigarettes, alcohol, water etc
Honestly I would build a place like that to chill and hangout with my friends. Just remove most bunk beds and replace with a TV and Sofa hahaha
Not enough food, not enough waste disposal, not enough entertainment etc. Well, that's what you get by living in a fantasy world. You become blind to the things that really matter.
Note to self: keep a large septic tank, hydroponics and video games.
entertainment is cards and chess not electronics
Not if you have the proper equipment to have a decent power source.
He forgot bandages and inmergency stuff
First rule of having a Doomsday bunker: DONT TELL EVERYONE YOU HAVE A DOOMSDAY BUNKER
I'd do the same tbh
I know where I'm going if it comes down to it
2022 this guy doesn’t look so crazy now
Boy, never touch someones guns without asking...
Hes fucked when his food runs out, welp in a nuclear situation with no food there's always the gun
TooDank yup
Most likely too radioactive to eat if a nuke blew up
he could stock up on alot of spam(spam never expires)
TooDank Best last meal is A bullet to the head
Just run to a city that didn’t get nuked lol
"God, I need at least 24 hours to prepare my bunker, will you please tell north Korea to hold of for a little bit?

It will happen so you better be ready cause it's close

The point of a bunker is to keep it SECRET just for you and your loved ones
This is an awesome bunker
why would you pump radioactive are in?
No. It is an air filtration unit.
+Hr BeStalkinMe I know now. ive been looking into them.
ha was there noodles unit pepared things could never see filter seasoning yummy ramen
air*
Ramen Noodles will help absorb the radiation, so...he's okay.
Umm? Ok, if I was terrified about neighbors turning on each other, the LAST thing I would do is tell everyone what I have.
shit for 65k doomsday bunker can do that in like 10k lol
No you can't, not like that.
*****
I'm sad to say it, but I can't recommend any of them. They are just to damn expensive for what they are offering. I recommend you order the NBC filter system and everything else you need, then build one yourself out of concrete, rebar, and rock. Order a triple seal NBC door from www.sportsmansteelsafes.com/nbc_vault_doors.htm, etc.
He said $10,000 was from the gold rings, I assume that the total $65k includes things like that
haha the only problem with that is you gotta wait 2yrs
If I'm going to die I'm not going to die in some bunker.
Bruh this fool said "we love beef jerky" I'm dead 💀💀
Am I the only one who thought it was $65
I keep a bunch of bottled water and non-perishable food items in store, but not even close to the degree of some of these preppers, just enough to wait out a wide-scale emergency for a month or so if I ever need to (i.e. earthquake or some other disaster).
Mike Bircher it wont be i told you so scenario if that happens you'll be dead they will be alive
Leadfoot2112 Well, considering it's extremely unlikely to ever happen, I'm not too worried about it.
zombies nuclear war ok fine but look at texas and the flooding all the dead people if only they had somewhere higher up they could have gone to get away from this in advance go where there was food and shelter gee maybe they could be alive today
I’ll just go under my blanket because we all know that thing is a shield
Wow, 7 years passed and I hope he's still waiting for doomsday. Very patience

Ill be glad to have a few children with his grandkids if I can live with them down there
I bet all those stuff from 2013 to 2018 all those food expired
guns, beef jerky, and ignorance is all you need to waste 65 thousand dollars on an unnecessary bomb shelter
Hopefully he has teenage children who will use it to throw parties down there and eat those snacks when they get the munchies. It won't be a complete waste of money.
Old man is off his rocker
Or as it's also known a nutcase
I was about to comment that XD
no he been playing to much fallout
Alfie Pollington Or it might be that he wants a hobby
Yeah... but if shit is going down, and what he is afraid of actually happens, he will have the last laught while the rest would pray to Jesus for ''salvation''...
Is really dumb to laugh by someone who is genuily preparing for a potentail disaster... unless they prepare for a zombie apocalypse - those peoples are indeed ridiculous.

Yes we are. A virus with 99.98% survival rate what a disaster lol gtfo kid
Colin Furze's bunker is better
hahaha no
true
Yeah. He also does a lot of things like that, so it probably costed less.
Actually, a "survivalist", and a "prepped" are not the same things.

$1 bills and gold rings for barter.. wtf is that gonna get you?
Liquor, weed, cigarettes, pills, salt, sugar and so on... Those are proper barter items.
Calm down he dont wanna sell his booty to the raiders
He got this bunker from "Atlas Shelters"... you can watch the company's vids on youtube. Or go to their website. This man got one that is "blank" or empty... came with bare minimum like the beds and air filtration. But the company can actually deck these things out nicely, when you look at their website.
That awkward moment you need a drink and ran out of what you got down there, but you can't get that great supply because it's raining bombs! Or contaminated if its nuclear bombs being used!
Yo, God. Can you like please let me know in advance when the shit will hit the fan? -that guy
reporter: you have enough bullets to start an army

"Is that one of those black, baby killer, fully semi-automatic Assualt Riffles?" "The one that can be bought by a 5 year old at Walmart, using the gun show loop hole?" -CNN
1:15 It will Keep Out Crazy People from Bunker in Doomsday 😂😂
1:30 Bunch of Gun For Bunch of Crazy People.
i would rather die fighting rather than being cooked up like a chicken and risk radiation and finally come out and see there's fuck all left not even a tree to piss on.
well, you cant die, fighting a nuke. there's no fighting one of those at all lol. and you will be cooked up worser than a chicken. but I hear ya lol
nickserio35 if a nukes going to go off i want to be in the middle of if dead in less than a second rather than a slow pain full death by burns and radiation screw that.
yeah I agree. I prefer a nuke to land on my house when im sleeping. no worries haha
