I’m so flattered by this comment. Thank you so much. It means so much to me that you noticed. I always try to be honest and share what genuinely works for me, no gimmicks, so I’m glad you find it valuable 🙏🏻

I mean, no offence to Josh but there are a bunch of people on YT that know a lot more shit than he does. Please go watch Dan Worall, Kush, Sseb, etc. Also a lot of people that tackle DSP in plugins have insane audio knowledge that go way beyond mastering.

@@Magic_carpet666 I actually appreciate your honesty and no offence taken. I must say that I purposefully don’t talk in depth about plugins and gear because I’m not particularly interested in it and I don’t think it will help most people make better music. My videos are generally more based on my experience working in commercial studios and sharing to help with other’s self improvement. I think there’s a definite audience for what you’re referring too, but not really who I’m trying to reach. I hope that makes sense 🙏🏻

@@Josh.Bartel Actually re-reading my comment I come off a bit as an asshat and I have to apologise for that. I didn't mean to put down your skills or knowledge which I'm sure you have plenty of given the position that you hold.
You're right in that your videos are more general and music-oriented, which I appreciate (I do watch them!), I guess I just personally have reached a stage where I'm more about nerding out on audio stuff (and it's getting harder to not run into math lol) but both have their place for sure. For what it's worth I think you're doing a great job breaking down complicated and variable topics, so keep it up mate!

Any suggestion for a course? I've delayed my latest piece for a month as I cant get my high end to sound smooth on cheaper earbuds. At first I was going to let it go but I hear too many other tunes sound acceptable (not tinny) on these earbuds. Driving me crazy. I'm a novice so I just keep trying but to no avail. Can't move forward till I solve this 😢 your channel is very good.. keep the videos coming please

This guy right here is an example of a Channel who's Subscriber count doesn't correlate with it's quality. 👆Looking forward to learning more from you, Josh! 🤙

The issue is that most producers don't put the time into learning the fundamentals. Understanding why you do something, rather than doing it just because you want to achieve a certain result is the issue with the internet.
