I joined Trovo around a month ago, to watch some streamers. I didint really have the Perfect equipment for streaming, so i just preffered to watch. I watch only like 3 streamers on Trovo, just to help them go further in their job. Yesterday, one of the streamers i watched, finally got their monetisation turned on, and once it got turned on, everyone started to donate mana to him, and people even started to subscribe. I was the first person to donate actual elixir to them, to help them out. After the stream, they got around 12,000 mana, and 710 or less elixir. I was really happy to help them, because i'm a thankful and helpful guy for what people do to make their community happy. Trovo is a pretty comfortable platform to use and watch on, and i really enjoy it.
Lemme say this. I've streamed on Twitch for nearly 5 years, and now moved to TH-cam streaming. I had already gained 5k on here so it was quick, however, TH-cam viewership spikes are solid, but ccv is alot harder to hold on youtube, with all the content surrounding the viewers recommended feed. Twitch is impossible to grow on without posting on TH-cam and/or Tiktok. Trovo is probably the first platform other than mixer that does not need outside forces to grow on. I'd honestly recommend it to any new streamers, especially since most people dont want to grind TH-cam videos just to grow on another platform. TH-cam pays the most for Subs/supers at the standard level, however getting people to spend here is harder than on Twitch. So if your endgame is all about money, I guess Twitch and TH-cam are your best options. However if Trovo ends up really big, or signs a large streamer, paired with Twitch's market share numbers going down very quickly, I actually think a smaller platform like this could do extremely well. Facebook has only been around with streaming for like 3 years and they already own over 10% of the market. Facebooks large current userbase is 40y/o+, so most younger streamers don't thrive on there like they do on youtube or Twitch. You didn't mention this but since Tencent owns Trovo, it's likely it wont die, and in face since mobile gaming makes up 70% of gaming worldwide, and they focus on it quite a bit, I think that mobile gamers may already be ahead of the curve. TH-cams monetization is best standard. However hitting those goals are incredibly hard, especially by only streaming. So You'll still need to make normal youtube videos to grow. If I had to make a prediction. I think TH-cam will eventually own the biggest market share, however sites like Trovo can grow EXPONENTIALLY if they start advertising during eSports leagues.
Yup. I was hitting twitch up for a while just for fun always streaming and making a fool out of myself for the viewers. In the end I set it aside as I was only averaging maybe 1-2 views. I just started Trovo again for fun and I'm getting more exposure as there isn't a lot of channels hitting these genres. People come in and actually chat during the stream, it's great. With that said I wouldn't want to put in over 1k streaming hours to make that 500 ... I gotta work bro. I would have to give up my full time job and pray I make it in these streaming platforms.. nah, I'll do it for fun lol

People still come and go but I still have fun as long as 1 or 2 stick around for a chat. I'm still enjoying this even if folks don't come in & I'm still working full time too. Recently achieved the watch / stream time for the pokemon unite event and made a bit of Gems in the process. And ya I will recommend trovo.
Good solid review! Obviously Trovo has changed a lot now and will continue to do so but it does remain a risky place to stream. You just can not go wrong with streaming to youtube though! Hope its going well!
I joined trovo. I had a decent fanbase on yt with over 10k subs. Spent some months and noticed that I wasn't getting significant number new followers or any viewership. We are talking like streaming 8 times per month and getting 5 followers. Trovo moved immediately to the "multi-stream" platform category. No value to go there unless you are huge and they are paying you

I did 5 twitch streams each lasting over an hour and got 0 viewers. Did trovo for the first time and hit 4-5 viewers FIRST TIME STREAMING! I think trovo is definitely a good place to build a community then you can move onto twitch.

Trovo 500 has changed a lot.. from 400.000 elixir master or diamond now you win only if someone donates you. I am so sad cause of that.. It was my best streaming platform and doing restream on youtube and trovo.
I appreciate this breakdown. I don’t think you mentioned this so I apologize if I missed it. But what are your thoughts about restreaming to it? I’m going to run a month or two experiment to see if it works for me. Would make for an interesting data collect. Glad I spent so much time on TH-cam this past year considering how things are panning out lol. +subscribed
I restreamed to Trovo for a while... The only thing you have to watch is the Bitrate. You can stream to TH-cam, Trovo and FB.GG at a much higher bitrate than Twitch will allow. From an audience perspective, streaming on multiple platforms and funnelling viewers to one is the best way to grow on one platform IF you're okay with being limited by Twitches bitrate :)
1 year later and trovo is finally working on partner ship stuff like twitch for people to earn a living. They said they dont want to be a twitch copy and want to be more like youtube where gamers can come and join post videos, stream and upload clips. I hope you can do an update on this as it would be interesting after a year
In my country, Trovo has been a really sudden thing that came, offered partnerships to everyone and suddently everyone was moving there. I didn't really pay much attention because I didn't watch streams anyways (mostly due to tight everyday schedules and other factors), but what I realized is that most of the bigger content creators went in but most of the smaller ones didn't, or only did for a few months. What peaked my interest in searching for this video is one of the biggest content creators saying they're streaming again on Twitch for "reasons". I feel like Trovo is just another platform who's experienced great sudden success that'll die down over time. They'll need a lot more improvements not only on the platform itself but on it's monetization too, in addition to a big L by one of the streaming giants (YT and Twitch) for Trovo to come back on the big stage. I hope it's a profitable business for whoever owns it and that it provides good job spots for people, other than that I never really intended to care. Edit: Should I consider Facebook as a "big streaming platform" too? I don't know, I've seen a few people move to it but I think FB's atrocious history is an eternal obstacle to future success.

I also agree with you about people streaming in an unhealthy manner and that big influencers from other platforms come over to get that easy money (though unlike you I wouldn't do that if I was already big and getting decent money on another platform but aye we can't all be selfless). BUT you were incorrect about some of the information you gave out.. Although it wasn't actually your fault it was still incorrect.. That watch hour goal you were aiming for was the wrong target.. Thats the pay target once you are in the T500 not the get into the T500 target.. The top 500 ppl who have the most watch hours and i think donations are also calcd in.. So say you were the 500th highest hour Watch time person but no one ever gave you exlixr (spent money on the platform) but i was the 501 but i had ppl drop 100 or so in my stream over the month.. I would get that boost up.. I'm pretty sure money spent on your stream by viewers is calcd.. Also.. Sept was the first month i really tried for partner, I got in barely i was probably like 470 if even.. Your Sept stats was 99hrs streamed 1.4k Watch time total TOTAL.. not effective.. Your effective was 800.. My effective was over 1.5k your avg per stream was nice.. But these boys was out here doing 2x your hours streamed.. I see dudes doing 24hr streams 3x a week and still streaming every week.. I agree it's unhealthy and eventually these big boys from other platforms gonna completely take over. They did add a bronze tier to help small streamer basically if you hit 1500hrs effective up to 1000 ppl will split a pool of 100000.. So this last month only 300ish ppl made it so each is getting lile 250ish.. Hopefully they keep increasing the hours just to keep ppl hungry cause I hit 1500hrs and i wasn't even trying that month for partner cause i seen so many big YTr come over.. I wanted to focus on bringing ppl to the platform not just gaining followers from ppl who are already there..
I'd say TH-cam, but I'd do some research first. Harris heller just put out a new video about smaller platforms and also did a good comparison on the big three

Good video, I had never heard about Trovo until a few days ago, I have just started on Twitch and done my first 5 streams, other than overall followers I think I should be on to hit the other affiliate targets (if I choose to go that way) within the next 2-3 months. @f1scott in the long run i would say build your community dont worry about the money and eventually everytning will fall into place. You shouldnt focus on only getting paid but focus on ur followers and try to provide the best content. Money is nice but it shouldnt be ur main or first focus. Build up to 100 followers and get viewers talk to ur community then when you have a loyal fan base you could become affiliate on twitch/trovo and then ur loyal followers would eventually donate. Money should be put last tbh. I hope you the best and hope you grow and gain ur following
So any advice? I have 98 followers on twitch. and i stopped streaming cause my mother got sick and i just didnt have time. Now i started trovo i have 11 followers and i always have 4-5 viewers in my stream. Should i quit trovo and get back to twitch? What are your thoughts?
Have you considered TH-cam or Facebook? TH-cam makes it easy to get viewers if you do keyword/description research... Facebooks monetization is the best by far, if you can get noticed on there you're going to be loving it 🥳

Start off with tiktok then push people to places like twitch, youtube, trovo, etc. Alot of new streamers are using tiktok and yt shorts to grow then pusjing people to twitch so id say do that. Twitch is best for streaming but yt, fb, and trovo arent far behind
I'm on trovo purely to learn how to stream from my cellphone game. I actually get 3 or 4 viewers watching me. Next if like to look more professional and use a PC stream to TH-cam and to get better quality content and controls
trovo 500 is kinda good for 2nd world countrys, you dont have to break your back for 500euros per mouths, you can enjoy playing games and getting paid 720euros without donations, but ofc its hard because of greedy youtubers that upload 3 videos in 5 mouths but somehow has hundreds of subs and stream once in 2 weeks just to make goals for trovo 500 im grinding af 4 to 5 hours per day everyday and hopefully it will payoff, kinda sad i didnt started streaming since start of trovo even tho i used trovo back then but whatever. i also enjoy the fact that i can have good lookin' stream with just 7 upload internet because quality of trovo is on another level compared to youtube and twitch
Is Trovo Indian friendly? I want to move away from twitch, because when i use to stream on Twitch I hardly get any views, on top of that when i do get views, i start getting racist comments. The most I got was "scammer"
@Griff Plays that last comment wasn't an attack on you btw.. Trovo wasn't really clear on how the program worked in the first place.. And to anyone who is doing it to get paid understand it's a 3 month wait to get paid.. You need to grind for a month to get in the T500..then you need to hit whatever the watch hour req is so like the pic that griff showed said 1300hr for silver you need to get at least 1300hrs the next month once you are in the program.. Then after you hit those hours 45 days from the end of that month you will get paid.. Most see 1300hrs and think if they hit that mark and 45 days later you get paid.. No.. If the 500th person got 3500hrs then that was the mark you needed to hit to GET IN TO THE PROGRAM.. Then the following month you need to get at least 1300hrs to get paid but obviously if you want to stay in you gonna need more than 1300hrs lol..

Platform is getting worse and worse. Now they discriminating as well! Depending on where you from you have a certain value. If your from English speaking countries you have TWICE the value compared to other countries. And if your in the green group you have to do HALF compared to others streamers to reach partnerships. Literaly HALF. so as solution to this response from the video they took the watch hours away from discovery boxes"to make it more fair". Only to divided all streamers in groups and make 1 group half as easy compared to other groups. Basicly if you live in a green region(English speaking countries) you are lucky and if you don't you can try everything to get in there but they can't give clear info about it for months. Their communication is horrible. Think they trying to hide the fact that there are different requirements to get in green also depending on where you live. Straight up discrimination.
Dude your logic is wrong, like you streamed for 100 h for one month. Its nothing, if you wanted to become partner with trovo you should have streamed like at least 200+ h for a month. So its not problem in trovo and big streamers, you are problem cus you want partnership without hard work.
So, to confirm... There are 24 hours in a day, subtract 8 hours of sleep... 16 (awake) hours a day... Average 30 days per month, multiply that by the 16 hours a day you get 480 hours... Subtract my 60 hour a week job... (60 x 4 = 240 hours) I'm left with 240 hours... You want me to stream for EVERY SINGLE spare hour I have, leaving zero family time, zero gym time, zero down time, zero housework time...?? Are you mad?! Regardless of how many hours somebody puts in, if they smash the targets 3 months running they should get partner. Your stupid-ass logic is exactly what is wrong (and unhealthy) about the platform. Good video, I had never heard about Trovo until a few days ago, I have just started on Twitch and done my first 5 streams, other than overall followers I think I should be on to hit the other affiliate targets (if I choose to go that way) within the next 2-3 months. Forgetting the Trovo 500 how much did you make from subs, donations and elixir compared to Twitch if you don't mind me asking? Thanks
Hi Dan, I'm not sure of the exact figure but the money I earnt from subs/donos/etc. on Twitch vs Trovo was pretty close and they both take 50%.

@@dan_the_drifter321 take affiliate anyway and multi stream! I've never had an issue doing it... worst case is you'll lose affiliate status but you might as well monetize both for now and see which does better! 📈

I'm about 18 followers away from affiliate but have all the other prerequisites of average viewer's etc so isn't going to take me long to just get the followers. I will let you know what I decide. @f1scott in the long run i would say build your community dont worry about the money and eventually everytning will fall into place. You shouldnt focus on only getting paid but focus on ur followers and try to provide the best content. Money is nice but it shouldnt be ur main or first focus. Build up to 100 followers and get viewers talk to ur community then when you have a loyal fan base you could become affiliate on twitch/trovo and then ur loyal followers would eventually donate. Money should be put last tbh. I hope you the best and hope you grow and gain ur following
So any advice? I have 98 followers on twitch. and i stopped streaming cause my mother got sick and i just didnt have time. Now i started trovo i have 11 followers and i always have 4-5 viewers in my stream. Should i quit trovo and get back to twitch? What are your thoughts?
Have you considered TH-cam or Facebook? TH-cam makes it easy to get viewers if you do keyword/description research... Facebooks monetization is the best by far, if you can get noticed on there you're going to be loving it 🥳

Start off with tiktok then push people to places like twitch, youtube, trovo, etc. Alot of new streamers are using tiktok and yt shorts to grow then pusjing people to twitch so id say do that. Twitch is best for streaming but yt, fb, and trovo arent far behind
I'm on trovo purely to learn how to stream from my cellphone game. I actually get 3 or 4 viewers watching me. Next if like to look more professional and use a PC stream to TH-cam and to get better quality content and controls
trovo 500 is kinda good for 2nd world countrys, you dont have to break your back for 500euros per mouths, you can enjoy playing games and getting paid 720euros without donations, but ofc its hard because of greedy youtubers that upload 3 videos in 5 mouths but somehow has hundreds of subs and stream once in 2 weeks just to make goals for trovo 500
im grinding af 4 to 5 hours per day everyday and hopefully it will payoff, kinda sad i didnt started streaming since start of trovo even tho i used trovo back then but whatever. i also enjoy the fact that i can have good lookin' stream with just 7 upload internet because quality of trovo is on another level compared to youtube and twitch

Is Trovo Indian friendly? I want to move away from twitch, because when i use to stream on Twitch I hardly get any views, on top of that when i do get views, i start getting racist comments. The most I got was "scammer"

@Griff Plays that last comment wasn't an attack on you btw.. Trovo wasn't really clear on how the program worked in the first place.. And to anyone who is doing it to get paid understand it's a 3 month wait to get paid.. You need to grind for a month to get in the T500..then you need to hit whatever the watch hour req is so like the pic that griff showed said 1300hr for silver you need to get at least 1300hrs the next month once you are in the program.. Then after you hit those hours 45 days from the end of that month you will get paid.. Most see 1300hrs and think if they hit that mark and 45 days later you get paid.. No.. If the 500th person got 3500hrs then that was the mark you needed to hit to GET IN TO THE PROGRAM.. Then the following month you need to get at least 1300hrs to get paid but obviously if you want to stay in you gonna need more than 1300hrs lol..

Platform is getting worse and worse. Now they discriminating as well! Depending on where you from you have a certain value. If your from English speaking countries you have TWICE the value compared to other countries. And if your in the green group you have to do HALF compared to others streamers to reach partnerships. Literaly HALF. so as solution to this response from the video they took the watch hours away from discovery boxes"to make it more fair". Only to divided all streamers in groups and make 1 group half as easy compared to other groups. Basicly if you live in a green region(English speaking countries) you are lucky and if you don't you can try everything to get in there but they can't give clear info about it for months. Their communication is horrible. Think they trying to hide the fact that there are different requirements to get in green also depending on where you live. Straight up discrimination.

Dude your logic is wrong, like you streamed for 100 h for one month. Its nothing, if you wanted to become partner with trovo you should have streamed like at least 200+ h for a month. So its not problem in trovo and big streamers, you are problem cus you want partnership without hard work.

Average 30 days per month, multiply that by the 16 hours a day you get 480 hours...
Subtract my 60 hour a week job... (60 x 4 = 240 hours)
