They (I guess, Disney?) saw EXO's "El Dorado" performance in concert, and they decided to have this collaboration when Star Wars came out. And then they also used EXO's "El Dorado" song to promote Black Panther in Korea back in 2018, if I'm not mistaken. SM and Disney has a long ongoing collaboration incase you didn't notice, that's why even SuperM has a collaboration with Marvel, and became "The Avengers of Kpop". EXO-CBX also had a collaboration with Marvel if I'm not mistaken, even if it's only for merch. Anyway, SM is quite attached to Disney, and that's why now they're making a "SM Universe" sort of thing, like Marvel, where they put teasers/easter eggs for next releases from their artists at the end of each other's MVs. Like aespa's teaser at the end of SuperM's "One (Monster/Infinity)" MV and NCT's "Make a Wish" MV, and then Boa's teaser at the end of aespa's MV, and so on. And they also make all their artists somehow connected with each other cuz they obviously come from the same SM Universe, something like that. I think it's pretty dope, though... 😁
