Hindko is Hindko...there is no Peshawari, Haripur, Abbotabbad, Manshera, Attack, AJK, Kohat, Tanawal, or where it's widely spoken...it's only Hindko... difference in few words or dialect doesn't make it different from each other. United we raise!

Unfortunately in last 30 years Peshori Hindko speaking community is feeling ashamed of their identity and posing as Pathans. They feel more proud of speaking Pashto and dressing like them. We have to revive our identity. Peshori are the most talented and open minded people of the walled city. They never recognized themselves on basis of religion but all living in walled city regardless of their belief system shared same culture, identity and lived with hormony.

Many of the peshori hinko speaking people have a history from Afghanistan! So not all of them are wrong ! For e.g dilip Kumar's ancestors came from Afganistan because he was Awan and the Awans living in mardan ,swabi ,kohat and mansehra etc speak pashto because there history is from Afghanistan but the ones living in abbottabad and peshawar etc speak hindko as it's the language of the certain place!

That's wrong, most Awans, like myself live in Panjab and speak Panjabi dialects, of wich Hindko is one of many. By the way the term "Afghanistan" is relatively new, it baisically means Land of Pashtuns and was introduced relatively late in history, it was coined in the early 19th century. So even if some people came from Afghanistan, they would not be considered Afghan, for they came much earlier.

The word Panjab comes from the Sanskrit word panca-nada wich literally means "five rivers". Later this term was translated into Persian, so the term Panjab was introduces wich baisically means the same as panca-nada, "Land of five rivers".In Persian Panj=5 and ab=water. The term Panjabi is used as an umbrella term for different languages in that region, that are ALL RELATED TO EACH OTHER.
This is the language family tree of Panjabi:
      Indo-European
      -Indo-Iranian
      ---Indo-Aryan
      ------Northwestern Indo-Aryan
      ---------Punjabi languages.
      -------------------Lahnda
      ----------------------North Lahnda
      -------------------------Hindko
      ----------------------------North Hindko
      -------------------------------Tinauli
      -------------------------------Kaghani

      -------------------------------Hazara Hindko
      ----------------------------------Haripur
      ----------------------------------Abottabad

      ----------------------------South Hindko
      -------------------------------Awankari
      -------------------------------Dhanni
      -------------------------------Ghebi
      -------------------------------Chachhi
      -------------------------------Sohani
      -------------------------------Kohati

      --------------------------------Jhelum
      --------------------------------Gujar Khan
      --------------------------------Kalar Syedan
      --------------------------Mixed Pothwari/Pahari
      --------------------------------Kallar Kehar
      --------------------------------Khewra
      ....
I did not include all Panjabi dialects, this would be too much.
As u can see we are talking about different Panjabi languages, meaning Panjabi is used as an umbrella term for different Variations of the same language that are all referred to as Panjabi. Panjabi can be further seperated in Eastern Punjabi and Western Panjabi, the latter also called Lahnda. Western Panjabi is much more diverse than Eastern Panjabi, wich is more common in Indias Panjab than in Pakistans. There are different dialects like:
Standard Punjabi in eastern and central Punjab, Saraiki in the southwest, Hindko in the northwest, Pahari-Pothwari in the north. All of these dialects are considered as different Variation of Lahnda (Western Panjabi). Too conclude Hindko is Panjabi, Hindkowans are largely Panjabis, some Hindkowans are indeed Pashtuns or Turks etc. who have settled in various regions, that are considered to be inhabited by Hindko speakers, they have assimilated into the Hindkowan community, however this does not change the fact, that Hindko Speakers are Panjabis.

In so far as to stop the teaching of Pashto language in primary schools in Pukhtunkhwa where Pashto is the dominant language.
