Robbie, so sorry for the loss of your cousin, you have used what you learned from him & put it to good use, that's a great way to honor him!!!👍👍 Danny W
I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your cousin and muskie buddy. My sympathies, Robbie. I'm surprised the fish following your jig didn't swing over and hit the sucker. Keep fishing like that, and it will happen.
Kudos for getting out alone Robbie! Sorry to hear about your cousin...it was nice to acknowledge his positive influence on your musky fishing life! I still hope to get out this season with my sons somewhere in WS. Thanks for the videos to keep me hopeful!
Hey Lee, the first time u ever saw a big Muskie was w me on Yellowstone lake. U had a monster follow that actually scared u. U gotta remember that. If u dont remember dont worry I ll never forget!
We are still fishing here in Western NY. Lake erie and Niagara river. Casting / Jigging / Trolling. Good luck the rest of the season. Going in the morning tomorrow 11/16.
Pipsquek ??? I don't fish for musky, but they do bite while I fish for bass on one of the flowages I live on. That is a nice one to land! Congratulations.
Definitely have had a awesome fall weather wise. Looking to get out on St. Clair 1 more time with my brother. Well see? Kids have a way of changing my plans.... great video Robbie!
1/3 better than 0/3 or 0/0 look at it the bright way on a short day of Fall great video perfect audio 👌 was there really a Minnesota state record caught a few days ago??? 55.5 Lbs and 56plus inches long do you know?
Still out soaking suckers and mixing in some casts. Good luck out there the rest of the season. Hopefully a long fall for all of us here in the Northwoods.
If you fail to have a good hookset, such as by forgetting to check your drag (a mistake you made later in the video), you can always set the hook a second time. Hell, you can set it a third time. This is a basic lesson I learned way back when I first started musky fishing with suckers.

Like the colors of those flowage skies. I got to know a certain famous flowage East of Hayward where I had many enjoyable outings.

Great vid Robbie sorry for your loss. Why didn’t you use a bobber on the sucker rig like you usually do?
Nice fish man! Sorry to hear you lost your musky mentor. Hang in there, and the big girls will show up.
