We got a 3 person doom tent in Broome before we hit the Gibb and stayed the night at Mitchell Falls leaving the van at drysdale, it was one of the highlights of the Gibb.
The road from Peterborough to Broken Hill used to have gates every 5 mile or so . In the mid 60s i remember mum having to get out and open and shut them. It was gravel road back then
Love following your travels! You are both so great with the info you share. I’m making notes of some of the really cool places you go for when I get the opportunity to travel long term.
You front fridge cover. Find a sign printing. Make a front cover with photo,s. They have weather proof printable board. Glue the bottom on. Then you got a great looking fridge
At least they are swing gates and not the 4 barb wire gates which have a pole for a latch which can often give you a whack when opening if they are tight and even harder to close.
A great video. You did the right thing with the fire as myself ,wife and three year old son went through the Pinery fire. It was not fun . Keep up the grand adventures and stay safe . Ps i know about gates . I spent 15 years every day 7 days a week twice a day having to open the gates to our farm house
Yes I am from One Tree Hill in South Australia so know all about the dangers too 😱🔥 Sorry to hear you’ve had a bad experience with the fire 😔 so scary!
i drove thru a big roadside fire for 10km or more, along that stretch going to broome. scary. its a hard stretch for fuel also...nothing worse than riding a clutch in and out for 100km to make an orange fuel light get you to a servo. so stressful.
We’re new viewers and love watching. If you haven’t done this before, could you please explain sometime how you get packages and mail while you’re travelling?
Hey! Welcome to the channel 🥰 We have the Aus Post app and created a profile with parcel collect number. We then can address our parcels to any post office while travelling. They will hold the parcels for a couple weeks 👍🏽
Just started watching you guys and really enjoying the places you visit and the banter between the two of you. I have one question though, when you visit the national parks what arrangements do you make for Juice? 👍
@@sydharris5827 hey thanks so much for watching and welcome to the channel 😃 He stays in the caravan while we go out. We have a camera inside the caravan which connects to our phone so we can watch him 😃 he’s a very good boy 🐾🐾
Hi guys. I've just recently started watching your videos, and I like what I see so far. Those towing mirrors don't look like they are Gibb River Rd stuff but they are still there hanging on at the end of each day. What brand are yours as I've seen various brands of that style? I'm betting the are chinese made, but if they were Japanese made, would that make them Nippon Clippon mirrors??
Hi Guys. I think you had better be careful who you partner with. I tried to by the Wheelie bin and it was $109 with free shipping. I added your discount code and they took off 10% but added $20 shipping. SO THE PRODUCT IS MORE EXPENSIVE WITH YOUR DISCOUNT CODE! Whether you like it or not this reflects on you and your channel. Just a heads up.
Hello Paul, Thanks for bringing that to our attention. I’m sure it’s just a back of house issues with the site and we have escalated it to the appropriate people. We have a long term partnership with A247. They are a fantastic company to deal with + supply great quality products. These things happen and I’m sure it will be rectified soon. Appreciate your patience.
I love old cemeteries like that. Great video, thanks guys
Loving your episodes! Hubby and I are thinking about selling up and caravanning full-time. You make us want to do it even more.
Thanks, for taking us on another great adventure 🤙

Oh I would have hated that haha
Wonderful to see Mt Elizabeth station, and that sandy beach at the waterhole was epic! Adding this to the list for a Gibb revisit in the future.
Yes it was a beautiful station. Plenty to see
Child locks are good to stop cupboard and fridge freezer doors from opening on rutted roads.
Yes we’ve since bought a few. Great tip 👍🏽
Thanks!
Thanks so much for the Super Thanks 🤩 We really appreciate it Debra

A mini chain saw would be better for cutting your wood
Re the fires, are you able to listen in to the responders with your UHF radio?
We should have tried that, although lots of the fires out here don't have the resources to have responders get to them

There was a shipping bug and it's been sorted out now 👍 it was not meant to have free shipping come up.
